My friend and I were bike-packing down the east coast of Tasmania for a week and stayed at the family-run Sanda House for a night to relieve our dishevelled and ruined bodies. Fiona and Peter were incredibly accommodating and friendly, allowing us the use of their laundry for our gross peasant rags, and the breakfast they provided was home cooked and delicious. The accomodation itself was so warm and cosy, and the building was of beautiful colonial-era stone construction with original furnishings and everything. Coffee, tea, chocolate and biscuits were all provided, along with a communal sitting room with a fire, books, board games, and even complimentary glasses of Port!
I highly recommend staying here, the hospitality and attention to detail was amazing. 👌🏻
