Google
My favorite cafe and restaurant. Staff is amazing, food is gluten free friendly, and very healthy. The space is a bit small but if not for studying but for chatting, it will be cozy and relaxing

Had lunch here with my GF partner today. Food was delicious and the GF options were fab. I had a cinnamon bun after my main meal (bowl of goodness) amazing! The service was friendly to. Will be recommending to family and friends :)

Google
The best gluten free bread I've had! Amazing vegan gluten free options for both breakfast and cakes/pastries. Great coffee. The service is always friendly and welcoming.

A tucked away little gem in Oxford — a cozy cafe that serves clean, healthy food. Friendly service and great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Google
This is a Healthy/ Gluten Free/ Dairy Free/ Vegetarian/ Vegan haven in Oxford. There are so many choices - savoury and sweet - for those who have dietary restrictions. Everything I've tried has been very delicious, and I highly recommend giving it a try!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the pleasure of visiting this delightful deli recently and was thoroughly impressed! The food was delicious, fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented with a fantastic variety of vegan options that was really hard to choose from. The coffee was great too and I can be very picky about this! A must-try for coffee lovers and great to support the independent over the chains. The atmosphere was another highlight—so friendly and inviting! The staff were incredibly accommodating, making us feel really welcome. I highly recommend this deli to anyone in the area.

I love, love, love this place. It's my go to when I visit Oxford. Support the independents, eat delicious food and relax in a cosy place with a warm welcome and great service.

Very kind staff and a spacious seating area upstairs. The falafel salad was tasty and filling.

Yelp
Great service and yummy baked goods. My group and I ordered pastries to shared, and they were enjoyed by all. However, I ended up getting food poisoning from the smoothie I ordered. I was the only one in my travel group who drank it, and I was the only one in my group to get sick.

Yelp
I don't know why it took me so long to write this review, because Organic Deli is AMAZING. I love that it's out of the way, and in a little alley. It's a cute cafe with limited seating downstairs but quite a bit of seating upstairs. I've been there for both brunch and coffee (sometimes simultaneously), and I've always found everything up to standard. For brunch, I usually get the full English breakfast, but for drinks, I've tried their latte, matcha latte, and regular matcha. I liked all of them, but I wouldn't ask them to brew a pot of regular matcha again. The matcha sometimes clumps and doesn't quite mix well, which can make drinking it a bit effortful. Other than that though, I'd highly recommend Organic Deli. I will definitely be back, and if you haven't tried it for yourself, you should definitely pop by and check it out!

Yelp
Found the restaurant as we were wandering about. Wonderful atmosphere with a view of the harbor. I had the turmeric seasoned falafel salad. They customized a salad for my wife who has dietary restrictions. We were impressed.

Yelp
This was my favorite place in Oxford. Tons of vegan options. I got the falafel sandwich many times and it was always excellent. Super crispy bread and some of my favorite falafel. Really nice interior and great seating upstairs. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service.

Yelp
We didn't have to leave Oxford until noon, so we decided to get brunch at Organic Deli. It's tucked away off the Main Street in an alley near the Macdonald Randolph hotel. You order your food right when you walk in and then you head on upstairs to grab a table. We both ordered a double espresso, my sister ordered the typical English breakfast and I ordered the chorizo and eggs. SO GOOD. It's usually the simple things that really do it for me. I liked the vibe of this place--very easy going. This place had different-shaped tables and mismatched chairs, yet it all came together and was far from an eye sore. From the looks of the menu and the fresh ingredients they use, it's hard to imagine you can go wrong with anything here. Try this place out! :)

Yelp
In July 2013 I spent the summer in Oxford and researched vegetarian and vegan restaurants. The organic deli and cafe provided great options. I ordered the "veggie breakie" because I really wanted to have a full English breakfast with their homemade veggie sausage. However it was "not there yet" when I arrived that day so he swapped it for falafels. I was a bit disappointed that I was not able to try the sausages, but I still was able to have a great healthy breakfast. The menu described that I would get the veggie sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, potatoes, roasted vegetables (all organic) and their artisan organic toast. As you can see from the photo, it was a full breakfast, but I did not receive any mushrooms. You could keep it vegan by also adding beans. You could also 2 eggs as well. Overall I enjoyed the meal but I didn't give 5 stars because of their lack of sausage as stated on menu (he said the truck was coming any minute-- I was there at 9:30am) and that the mushrooms were missing. Cute place and nice location right off of Cornmarket street.

Yelp
I had a bit of a wait but it was totally worth it. A latte with CBD coffee and Avocado toast with salmon and dried tomatoes were lovely. They have vegan and gluten free options. I'll be back!

Yelp
Was looking for a tasty new brunch place in Oxford on a Sunday morning, and came upon this gem! At first I was hesitant because anything with 'organic' in the name usually ends up being 1) choc-a-bloc with self righteous hipsters and 2) very expensive. That's not to say I entirely dislike hipsters, I just didn't want to be the odd one out. Anyway, it's an order at the counter, then wait for them to deliver your food sort of place. It's a bit tricky to find, but so worth it! Ordering was pretty easy, and the menu catered to all sorts of dietary restrictions and preferences. Dad and I both ordered the eggs Benedict, particularly as we subscribe to the whole 'order something you wouldn't/can't make yourself' philosophy. He also had a flat white and I a latte. The food is all made fresh in their tiny kitchen, so be prepared to wait over your coffee. The coffee was amazing, and they have so many non-dairy milk options (thank goodness!). It was so good we both ordered a second round. The food was also very generously portioned, and had fresh flavor. The ham, in particular, was something special! I would highly recommend this ace to my friends, especially the veggie/vegan ones! The prices were about average for Oxford brunch at roughly £2.50 for a latte and £7.50 for the eggs. Will be coming back for brunch again!!

Yelp
I had a falafel sandwich and my wife had the avocado toast. Both were scrumptious and we would recommend either of those, but we both agree the avocado toast was the best. The bread is delicious, and they have a great selection that all looked great. Very good place to eat in or takeaway, and especially great for vegetarians and vegans. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Went here for Sunday lunch and must say I really liked it! The staff was super sweet and helpful. We ordered the avo supreme and granola, and both were super delicious even though we had to wait for a while to get the food. However, quite understandable considering it was a busy time. We split the gluten free chocolate cake for desert and it was super yummy! Will defiantly be coming back!

Yelp
Surprisingly lovely little place. I wasn't expecting much, but the food was very good. The staff very accommodating. Their vegan cakes are amazing. Highly recommend stopping in here for a bite or lunch.

Yelp
Was stoked to see this place! Organic food is hard to find in most places and the quality of this place is undeniable. I came here 3 times in 24hours (once because I'd forgotten something ;) The first time I was full as I'd just eaten elsewhere but was so excited to see it that I came in for a drink (even tho I wasn't thirsty!) Second time I had a huge veggie brekky with homemade bread that was amazing. They didn't have sausages so I had the tofu instead which was tasty - if a little salty. The rest of the food was perfect and the juice I returned for the 3rd time (as I'd forgotten it) was yummy. Lots of things to buy and take home also - including speciality bread flours! The owner was really nice and as I left, asked for feedback saying they really want to learn and keep improving. LOVE.

Yelp
Staff were friendly. I ordered the Full English breakfast and an Americano - Bottom of the eggs were burnt, rendering 50% inedible - Sourdough toast was nice - Sausage dry as a bone - Tomato tasted unpleasant - bit off? - Bacon was good - Americano was crazy (too) strong

Yelp
A few weeks ago an employee tasted my juice by drinking from my straw and then passed the cup back to me to finish. Yuck. He seemed to have made the juice without rinsing the juicer or possibly gotten the recipe wrong. He taste tested by drinking directly from the cup, called the drink fine, and passed the cup back to me with no fix. Today I was treated rudely by staff, and when I reported to the manager, the entire team lied to deny their poor customer service. They recently changed the menu to remove the healthier options and now just sell super sweet juices with too much sugar for most of us. They said my favorite juice had not been selling, but I have purchased nearly twenty cups (if not more) in the last two months and seen others buy as well. Customers wait in line to order and then have to get back in line to pay after eating--waste of time. I started out liking this place a lot for being one of the only juice bars in Oxford, but I will not be returning. Their name is a gimmick and their menu lacks integrity. It is a really big deal when the people responsible for moving organic foods forward belly flop--their failure impacts the entire industry and the planet.

Yelp
A great little place! The food and coffee are lovely, the tea comes in cute little teapots, the place itself is lovely. I've tried quite a few things on the menu and each one has been lovely. I can't recommend this place enough. Please give it a try and you'll never go to a crappy Costa or shi**y Starbucks again. Also, my wife's office has The Organic Deli Café cater meetings and events and the food is incredible. No more dodgy sandwiches and awful biscuits. Go visit now!

Yelp
Easily my favorite little breakfast spot in town, also a really well kept secret. I'm American and am generally disappointed that no restaurants serve breakfast after breakfast time in this country, but this place comes in clutch, serving all my favorite eggy breakfast foods all day! (And smoothies! Real ones with real fruit!) Today I walked in and discovered they even had air conditioning! So sensible! I love the deep green color of the walls and the turquoise secret garden in the back. Seems like a hipster paradise and yet no one is ever inside! I hat crowded places with no where to sit so this is perfect conditions for me, but I'm concerned they may close this location due to lack of business. Been telling all my friends about you all term. Love you organic Deli cafe.

Yelp
Excellent choice for gluten free products! Trevor and (son) Sam, very knowledgeable about products. They carry a great variety of gluten free goodies. The sticky ginger bread is AMAZING! Thankyou for being a gluten free oasis!! In the Oxford desert!!

Yelp
Some mornings, I like to start my day without a mouthful of herbicides and pesticides. Enter: Organic Deli Cafe. Really nice service, tasty food (and good portion sizes), and a homey feel. Four of us went (largely on Sunny K's Yelp recommendation) for breakfast and all left fat, happy, and impressed. We didn't eat again until dinner. This place is definitely bookmarked, especially for when we have guests.

Yelp
I took a day trip to Oxford and decided to come here for brunch with my boyfriend. He was after a hearty English breakfast, and I was after good coffee. Both of us were definitely satisfied! I ordered eggs on toast with coffee. The bread is so deliciously fresh. They are very generous with their huge slices. The coffee was strong and well made. My boyfriend ordered the sausage sandwich and walked out very satisfied. We didn't have anything more to eat until dinner time! The atmosphere is really nice and cosy. It has a nice family run cafe feel to it. Highly recommend it!

Elisabeth N.

Yelp
The space here is pleasant and cosy, and I like the food too. It's just a nice little cafe.

Sophie B.

Yelp
I was excited to try their veggie options, so I went to order and they had no hummus and no tofu, which were main ingredients to most of their dishes, also the drink I wanted was not available either. So I ended up ordering a jacket potato with just roasted vegetables, my friends ordered the sandwiches with roast veg and falafel but half way through eating their sandwiches realised that there was no falafel in the sandwich. The chef did say it was his mistake as he had read the order wrong, the girl behind the counter was apologetic and polite about it. So overall disappointing experience but the staff were very nice.
