Organic Food Markets

There are a few organic markets in Sydney and this would rank number 3 on my list. It's great, but doesn't give me a market feel. Too clean and people are too orderly. It lacks the laid back market atmosphere. People are dressed too nicely for a market as though they are going to a classy shopping centre. But overall, stall owners are super friendly which is a big thumbs up.

At Double Bay the Organic Food Market at Guilfoyle Park offers local residents organic produce, fresh fruits and vegetables. Many stalls are set up selling clothes, hats, bags, jewellery, trinkets and ornaments. There are food stalls for take-out Paella, dumplings, bottled fruit juice and other food stuff. At the other end of the park there is a mini fun park with pony rides and slides down air-filled chutes. A guitarist entertains with lively music. This market is open every Thursday. An interesting place to visit. There is a ferry service from Circular Quay in the city to Double Bay Wharf.

We arrived late just as the stall holders were packing up but we still enjoyed some yummy Turkish food (suklacu).

Great gozleme, good pho. Jumping castle and pony rides for kids. Good fruit and veg.

Good selection. Great cheese. Pony rides and bouncy castle for the kids.

A small farmers market with a mix of the usual things. Nice for a stroll through and grabbing some convenient snacks or a small meal.
