Organico Fortuna

Everything was absolutely delicious. The staff was super friendly. We had the tuna tower appetizer, we each had a lunch plate dessert, tea and coffee. Our check was over $100. Not something we could afford to do often but an enjoyable meal and experience.

I stumbled across Organico Fortuna walking around. I feel lucky this seems to happen often. It's got a very nice atmosphere open air, bamboo roof that lets light through, a dessert display that I'm avoiding, but it's very hard and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I got the Koko banana smoothie which was ridiculous and one of the best smoothies I've had in Costa Rica. The cinnamon in it was a real nice addition. Then I got the papaya boat which amazingly it came out as a papaya boat. I don't know what I was thinking it would be as the name was very clear, and I am very satisfied. Highly recommend dropping in on this place.

One of the more expensive places to grab a bite to eat in La Fortuna. We paid nearly $100 USD for a soup, tacos, a bowl, and a dessert (pie). Given the area, this is still pretty steep. Food was pretty average, wouldn't go out of my way to go back, but if you have dietary restrictions, this place was pretty accommodating compared to other places.

This place is perfect for vegan and vegetarian food. Paola was our server and she was very friendly and attentive and asked actively about allergies and diet restrictions. The ambience is really nice and we enjoyed the vegan pasta bolognese and the „Love Rolls“. Prices are at the more expensive end.

This is the best vegan food that we have tried in Costa Rica! Whether you are vegan or not, you will not regret trying Organico Fortuna. Paola was attentive and delightful during our visit. The Walnut Nuggets were amazing 👏 (though, maybe a bit on the expensive side). The Falafel burrito 🌯 was out of this world, and the Falafel sandwich was so fresh that the bread was falling apart 😋. My only complaint is that we found this spot on our last night in town. Every other night, we obviously ate like chumps just blocks away, not even knowing this gem existed. I'm waiting on desert as I type this, which I rarely get, but this place is on fire 🔥 and I can't help but try their sweets. Dragonfruit cheesecake here I come 😋 (... it was also delicious)

There are cheaper options in La Fortuna, but this place is special. Some of the best vegan/vegetarian food I’ve had on any continent. Gluten free options. Friendly service in English or Spanish; they look after you and are used to questions or concerns about ingredients. Photos are of the veggie burger (it had some quirky name like “Magnificent Burger”) and the chocolate and avocado pie with a cappuccino on the side, that’s cinnamon on top. I came back another day and had the Rainbow Bowl and the Vitamin C Blast. I’d be a regular if I lived in this town.

One of our favourite places in La Fortuna. The service was great and the food was so delicious. The cold pressed drinks were so tasty. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing!! We went for breakfast one day and went back for lunch the next day! We had the same waitress both days and she was amazing. I drink water extremely fast and she was on top of the refills! The first day we got the Tico breakfast burrito and Protein bowl-both amazing. The next day for lunch we got the chicken sandwich, happiness bowl, green energy smoothie & brownie with ice cream. Everything here is so good and the food comes out so cute. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!
