Orgueil

The place is absolutely fantastic! We ate amazingly. They have an option where for 48€ each they bring you 11 (because we were three) sharing plates and everything was absolutely fantastic! We loved the croquettes, the mushroom salad with such an unexpected flavour and the shredded pork and the chicken, they were perfectly cooked and they use intentional sauces to enhance the flavour of the meat, not just to fill the plates. Also they have a focus on No Waste which is a big plus!! On top of the amazing food, the decor is outstanding, I absolutely loved it and the service is also fantastic!

We had a lovely time, and the food served was delicious. However, I can’t help feeling a bit let down. The service was acceptable, but we experienced a few faux pas. Firstly, our drinks order was forgotten, while the table next to us, who arrived after us, received their drinks in a timely manner. We were left wondering what had happened to ours, as we had ordered at the same time. Little did we know that our drinks had been overlooked and not even ordered. This made us feel somewhat neglected. Regarding the service of the meal, I don’t want to diminish the quality of the food, as every dish we had was excellent. However, almost every plate served to us had chips or multiple chips missing from the edge, which was a bit disappointing. I know it’s a small detail, but it was very noticeable, especially when it occurred multiple times during our meal. Overall, we had a pleasant experience, and these minor issues didn’t detract from the delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, but I feel that 4 out of 5 stars is fair.

A very pleasant place to dine. The food is excellent. There are not many offers on the menu, but everything is made with taste and passion. The service is also top notch.

Despite having to wait 15 min past our reservation time, the dining experience was quite nice. The starters and mains were cooked beautifully, I especially enjoyed the main of the day, which was chicken served with risotto. However, the desserts were a bit disappointing as they were neither unique or tasted the best. Overall, I'd say this is a restaurant that is worth dining at, to enjoy their one of kind menu from each course.

Dining at Orgueil is an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The chef’s surprise prix fixe menu is genuinely exciting, each course arrives beautifully crafted, showcasing bold creativity. The staff elevate the experience even further. They are incredibly friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and clearly passionate about the restaurant’s philosophy. Their warmth makes the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming, even as the food reaches fine-dining levels of precision. Perhaps most impressive is the remarkably young chef leading the kitchen. The talent, confidence, and originality on display are extraordinary. Each plate felt meticulously thought-out and full of personality. If you’re looking for a unique Paris dining experience, Orgueil is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent experience! Each dish was beautifully prepared. The creamy gnocchi is a must-try. The only slight drawback was the confit lamb, which was a bit too oily and could benefit from more balance, perhaps with added herbs or spices. Overall, the price-to-quality ratio is outstanding. We shared 5 courses for under 40€ per person and left both full and completely satisfied. We don’t drink, so we didn’t try the wine, but it seems this place is also well-known for its wine selection.

One of the best tasting menu experiences we've had in Paris! Really intimate dining with a view of the kitchen and most importantly, delicious food. We enjoyed every course and will definitely be back

Excellent restaurant with a very nice concept. You can order à la carte or let yourself be guided by the chef's choices in a mystery menu. All dishes are served in portions to share. And everything was really excellent! The mystery menu is quite generous, even for big eaters. The dining room is very pretty and tastefully decorated. The service is top notch. You have about two hours to eat before the next service. We were in the bistro section, but the restaurant also has a room at the back with other options. I recommend it 100%.
