First time coming here to celebrate my anniversary with my girlfriend and they did not disappoint. From start to finish, every dish we ordered was a banger. Kyle, who looked after us, guided us to try a combo we’d never had before. Wagyu steak with caviar, which honestly changed our lives for the better. All the dishes we tried was worth it and gave us flavours that went above and beyond! The service, live music, and overall ambience were amazing. Definitely one of the best places we’ve been to and definitely not the last. Thank you again to Kyle and the team for such an amazing food and dining experience.

Had their degustation menu here and it provides a great assortment of dishes but I personally was not a big fan. There were a lot of raw dishes in this degustation which got abit much for me. And while the seafood was fresh I didn't feel like it all gelled well together and were just an assortment of sashimi dishes thrown at you, with some cooked things at the end. Also at 250pp I wasn't too pleased. Worst dish was the mango ceviche dish, I could see what they were trying to do but it really did not work and tasted awful. I felt like they tried justifying the price point with the number of dishes served during the night. But I wouldve preferred less food that was tasy. Overall the cooked dishes were OK but nothing mindblowing. The beef skewers were pretty chewy. Very underwhelming for the reputation. Feels a little overhyped here. The presentation of the food is nice, venue is beautiful and staff are good, but at the price point and for the flavours/textures youre given, nothing was outstanding.

Absolutely outstanding Japanese cuisine. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of authentic, well-balanced flavours. The freshness of the ingredients really stood out, and the attention to detail was exceptional. The ambience was warm and elegant, making it perfect for both a special occasion or a relaxed dinner. Service was attentive and welcoming from start to finish. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

Beautiful presentation, stunning cocktails, and a heritage setting with character. The night ended up being more about the people and the vibe than the plates. Huge shoutout to Kyle, who went out of his way to create a no-raw menu just for me. And the live singer? Completely changed the energy of the room!

We tried the Artistry Chef Tasting Menu last night, and I found myself saying “yummy” after every single bite! For me, the best food is when I can only describe it as “yummy,” nothing else needed. Every dish was beautifully designed and thoughtfully combined. You can really see the hard work and creativity of the chef. The environment is quiet and simple, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Customer service was excellent! They made me feel very welcome and kept checking in to make sure everything was perfect. I had a wonderful dining experience here and would highly recommend it!

Had such a lovely dinner at Oribu Parramatta. The atmosphere is cosy and intimate, with soft lighting and live music that makes you want to stay a little longer — no rush, just good vibes. We ordered fresh sashimi, oysters, cod and unagi, and everything was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The kind of place where you end up taking photos first, then settling in to chat for hours after. Perfect for a relaxed date night or a catch-up with a friend. Will definitely be back’

Oribu delivered a truly memorable dining experience. The food was exceptionally fresh and beautifully prepared, and the service was attentive, polished, and seamless throughout the evening. We were celebrating my friend’s birthday, and the atmosphere felt perfectly elevated for the occasion. The live music added a sophisticated energy to the venue, bringing the entire experience together effortlessly. I will definitely be returning.

With all the positive reviews on Google, I had high expectation, particularly glad to see a fine dine outside city CBD. Staff were very attentive and engaging. Food served at right pace. It was a bit dimmed to us and hard to see in the dark. We are a little bit disappointed with the food and it is a bit let down with the signature tasting menu. While some dishes are quite creative inspired by Japanese dishes but we feel it is overwhelming.. sometimes less is more. But some dishes is absolutely disappointing such as popcorn prawn which has a very thick coating, unclean prawn cover with sweet and sour sauce. Miso soup feels like a pre-made that you can buy from grocery. However, luckily both main and dessert brought the standard back up to where it should be. Unfortunately (per se), the proportion of the entrees was very generous and by the time we have the main and desserts, we were not able to finish them. There is a great potential for this restaurant to be a great fine dine but unfortunately not this time.
