This is absolutely the best boutique hotel I’ve stayed in Japan. The breakfast is exceptional, free flow champagne, high quality fusion style food, stunningly beautiful environment, what else can I expect ~ oh, inside the room you can find riedel glasses, stylish refa hairdryer and Marshall! What a delightful surprise 😸 The service is also excellent - all staff speak good English and are very helpful. Will come back again and definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

We absolutely loved every moment of our stay. We stayed for 7 nights as part of the Kobe 2025 Convention. Our room was beautiful, with a fabulous harbour view. The bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud! Beautiful furnishings, and very nice amenities and products provided. Staff were kind and helpful, the bar makes excellent cocktails. We would love to come back and stay here again.

This hotel was the best one we stayed in Japan and high highly recommend. The room was fabulous, roomy, clean and beds very comfortable. The amenities were excellent and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. The location was perfect for shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. I can not fault this hotel. Great value for money

Upscale, classic hotel in the heart of Kobe City. The rooms are extremely comfortable and well appointed. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. The 2 Michelin Star sushi restaurant is truly outstanding. Our only caveat was the breakfast experience was really chaotic, which was surprising since the rest of the hotel ran so well.

First impression we absolutely loved this hotel - the room was spacious, the interior design was well done, and the rich history added so much to the narrative - but upon closer look there were some minor misses: 1. The water tank of the air purifier/humidifier was moldy so we ended up not using it 2. The water temperature in the shower was unstable and the ventilation looked like it needed a bit more cleaning Overall we enjoy our stay and look forward to coming back again

Everything was excellent. Thanks for refreshing the room daily. Restaurant service was top notch, waiters and waitresses are very polite and attentive. The daily breakfast meals were delicious and healthy. Having buffet style breakfast my last day on the 17th floor was very much appreciated. There was so much to choose from. The employees on floors 5, 6 and 17 are very polite, helpful and attentive. Oriental hotel is doing a very good job. Thanks for making my stay there special! *****

The room, including amenities, are excellent! Big rooms, clean, and I love the showers and bathtub! Breakfast was very cozy and great food! Staff are all very courteous and very accommodating. Always ready to extend extra help. Location is perfect, close to everywhere specially the city loop!

I really liked this place. Decor/ambiance suited me very well as it's queit, refined, and full of nods to the history of the location. Had a nice view of the waterfront. Lounge is also a nice touch. You're close enough to walk to most attractions as well as the train station.
