Oriental Sabang Hill Resort with Bar and Restaurant

There friendly staff the food amazing view from the top of your room is beautiful for the top of your room The pool open till 11 at night and the bar is open 24 only beer and whisky to drink and when you come here the views are beautiful to see as well come and enjoy.your self at sabang hill resort on the island

Nicely landscaped on the western end of Sabang Bay, this resort features simple rooms with hot shower, aircon and fridge. The bed however was too hard and the aircon unit was the old compact, manual control type, therefore too much loud and difficult to set. Nice pool with warm water. Bar and restaurant, a bit pricey. Staff is very courteous and smiling. Wifi good only outside the room. You can’t take your scooter there, the access is now prohibited to any vehicle, and to reach your room you have to climb about a hundred steps from the seafront promenade. Quiet area (except for aircon).

This place was a real find. Room was basic but comfortable. Service was friendly and efficient . Location was amazing. Had the plane basically to our self. Great pool, great food great prices. Puerto galera is a party town , but if you have a family this place is far enough from the town center without being to far. Very walkable everywhere. Keep in mind there is a few stairs.

It was a last minute decision that we stay a night in Sabang. I booked the room just morning of our check in day. My only requirement is the resort better have a pool because I know the Sabang beach is not swimmable. So off we go to Sabang. It took us 9 friggin hours to get to Galera from Marikina. I was already planning of booking another hotel near the port area because it is already too late and I'm not sure how we can still get a ride from Muelle to Sabang. Lo and behold the lovely resort staff contacted me asking for my arrival time. They in fact called several times to make sure we will get to the resort without any problems. They proactively arrange our transport so we won't get scammed at the port because it is already very late. We finally arrived at the resort. The staff welcomed us with drinks and we were sent to our room. The location of the resort is on a hill so be prepare to hike a bit, but boy, the views and ambiance is the reward. The room is huge and good enough for me, my husband and the kids (1 queen bed + 2 singles). I love the veranda overlooking the pool. They also have a nice restaurant where we had our breakfast. For the price, service, views, amenities this is indeed value for the money.

This was my friend's first time visiting Sabang and I was very worried about choosing the right resort. Needless to say complete success!!!||||Let's start with check-in of course, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and generally fun to deal with. We chose the standard room and were more than happy with the overall look and cleanliness of the rooms. Each room has their own terrace with a table and chairs with a stunning view of the ocean. This terrace is a great place to have some breakfast and check your emails before beginning your day.||||The pool is very clean and refreshing, during the mid-day sun the staff will cover the pool area in a mesh to shade the guests and keep them nice and cool. I've never experienced that service before and it was absolutely welcome.||||If you are having breakfast here I would fully recommend the omelet and hash, they are a stellar combination. Most other meals were experienced outside of the resort only for variety.||||Their is only one item which I found a bit odd and that was the size of the key ring for my room key. The key ring or rather the block of wood with room number engraved that is attached to the key ring was near impossible to fit in my pocket. Seeing as I do not carry a backpack I had to end up carrying it in my hand most of the day.||||That being said, all in all this was by far my favourite resort to date in Sabang.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was a solo traveler and never been to PG before so||I thought I'd give the island a try. Like the island of Puerto Galera, This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I intended to stay for 2 nights but ended up extending it to 6.||The hotel is not Beach front and I wouldn't swim on this beach anyway, its not meant for that. Sabang Beach which is where this hotel is located is more for divers. It is up on the hill and it takes a little effort to get to it. Because of that effort you are rewarded with a stunning view of the beach. You can see boats coming and going from the beach. It is such a spectacular view day or night.||||The room I was in was facing the beach and I think all rooms are. I also had a balcony so I was able to appreciate the view (sorry if I'm overemphasizing) . The rooms are spacious and clean. Wifi is OK depending on where your room is. I also have my phones's globe wifi and it was decent.||Now let me tell you about the staff. Dexter is the manager/Bar keep / whatever. He is such a great guy. As most of the staff were. They made me feel like family. I even met the nice owners (a couple) and they bought me drinks here and there. ||Food and drinks are good and reasonably price for being in a tourist area.||||IF I ever comeback to PG this would be my first choice for hotel. Just keep in mind that Sabang Pier does not operate anymore so you have to go to Muelle Pier and catch a trike (p150-200) Sabang Beach. There is also road construction along the way. Very poor planning on the city's side, they should have finished the road construction before shutting down Sabang Pier.||||Another word of caution if you are charging your food and drinks to your room, make sure you double check and tally your bill when you check out.

Very friendly welcome by the manager. Nice staff. Rooms are fairly comfortable, well maintained, clean. Great view overlooking the bay with cristal blue water. The kitchen serves good food with friendly staff kind to help you even when ready to close, which is not the case everywhere in the Philippines. The swimming pool is clean unlike neighbors'. Definitely recommend that place.

This is basic hotel with a pool and bar, the rooms are nice enough with decent beds and shower, the tv channels were limited to mostly Filipino channels. There are a lot of steps to negotiate before you get to the hotel and I wouldn't recommend it to elderly or handicapped or even unfit. The location is fine apart from that as its close to the action, the nightlife and bars are plenty-full in the area and some nice Resto's around. The breakfast was very poor here though as the free breakfast included was coffee or tea and toast with jam or marmalade , we had to pay extra for things like eggs, hot dog, bacon or the Filipino options which I thought was very tight! The staff were friendly and helpful but all in all I think I'd stay somewhere without the steps if I visited Sabang again and the breakfast thing would put me off as well.
