Orientbank Hotel Istanbul, Autograph Collection

This is a great hotel, only 36 rooms and the location is fantastic. It has an old vibe and my room was in very nice condition. I had room 503, small water view, I liked the roof across the street, the guy had lots of pigeons. The front desk person you checked me in was excellent, her English was better than mine and she had great positive energy. The guy who delivered my bag and gave me a rooftop tour was also excellent. It was a nice warm greeting. The whole staff, including breakfast gave great service. I hope to return.

What a wonderful surprise! Grabbed this one night stay on Bonvoy app after cruise with my mom. We arrived very early and were greeted by Esme. He immediately offered us coffee and water. He sat with us to introduce us to the hotel and ensure my mom was comfortable.||We also were given access to the roof. The view was spectacular! We were lucky enough to be up on the roof during the Call to Prayer- the song from several mosques echoed across the city…. Amazing.||I highly recommend a stay!

Elegant Boutique Stay in the Heart of Old Istanbul||We stayed at Orientbank Hotel Istanbul for four nights and absolutely loved it. The hotel is the perfect base for exploring; nestled in the historic old town, near major attractions like the Spice Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, and Blue Mosque. We did take a private tour of the key sites and would very much recommend the 1 Day 'Best of Istanbul' tour by Guided Istanbul Tours.||The building itself has been beautifully restored. Our room (Room 203), though compact, was very clean and well designed, with a comfortable king bed and modern amenities. The air conditioning was very efficient ! It felt like entering a fridge at times but that was welcome given how hot it was outside.||The staff were exceptional; warm, professional, and genuinely eager to help from the moment we arrived. For Breakfast there was a choice of American Breakfast. Turkish Breakfast or Healthy Breakfast - we mainly went Turkish and the dishes (which included cheese, meats, fruit, jams / honey, pastries etc.) were delicious and served in the cozy lobby.||There is a rooftop terrace with city views however we didn’t venture up there.||If you’re looking for a stylish, well-located hotel in Istanbul with great service Orientbank Hotel is a fantastic choice.

Fantastic hotel with world-class service. My favorite Marriott. The staff is attentive, caring, and genuinely interested in providing the best experience possible for the guests. From the moment we arrived, until departure, everyone there was doing their best to help with our needs, and ensure we felt comfortable. The location is awesome, and as soon as you exit the hotel (which is very quiet and peaceful) you find yourself in the middle of the old city excitement. The building is awesome and everything in there has character. The roof is an amazing extra perk for late night snacks with a view after a day of exploration. My only point of feedback: Find a way to store the room service carts away from the hallways during the day. The atrium is truly beautiful, and those carts take away from that.

The location is perfect — right in the heart of the old city, just steps away from all the major historical landmarks, restaurants, and public transport. It made exploring Istanbul so easy and enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautifully restored, with a luxurious yet cozy atmosphere. The rooms were spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. What truly made my stay memorable was the outstanding staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and helpful from the moment I arrived — especially Mahmoud, who went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. His local tips and genuine hospitality really stood out. If you’re visiting Istanbul and want a stay that combines elegance, convenience, and top-tier service, I can’t recommend Orientbank Hotel enough. I’ll definitely be back!

What an incredible staff from all the Front Desk Personnel, Morning Breakfast Servers, and Housekeeping Staff all displayed the highest level of professionalism & customer service. My wife sneezed waiting for the elevator & the Front Desk Woman came running with a .tissue. WOW! Hotel is a beautifully decorated former Bank Building steps from the Spice Market & attractions. Rooms are on the small size. Nice 7th Floor Rooftop for great views. As a Marriott Platinum Member I highly recommend this property.

This is a beautiful and very elegant property located in the perfect position. Staff are attentive and friendly. However, on 3/4 days of our stay the shower was cold. The other day we got up slightly later & had a lukewarm shower. We raised this with staff on the first morning and they said they would look into it. The second time we raised it, staff were apologetic and offered for us to shower at their sister property, a three minute walk away (not a very convenient solution). They also offered complementary transfer to the airport. In addition, we were credited with points for at least one night’s stay at a Marriott. We heard numerous other guests also raise this issue and be offered similar things. None of this is compensation! If we had known that this was the case, we would have stayed elsewhere

I've stayed in hotels in various countries - from budget to costs-a-ridiculous-amount. This one is my favorite when comparing any category for any reason. The hotel itself is beautiful, has amazing views (including a rooftop area to have a drink) and the rooms are very nice, etc. - but it is truly the staff that makes this a one-of-a-kind experience. They listened (even when I was only speaking to my husband) and immediately offered timely advice that made everything smoother, more fun, and in general made this vacation the best I've ever been on. They don't say no & they don't ASK how they can help - they just Do Help. And they genuinely seem happy to do it. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Everyone was so nice! I didn't want to leave.
