Love this place, small simple, yet full of origami art and tradition. We were treated with a surprise with a chance to learn from the director 🥰. There is a workshop upstairs that shows how the paper is colored. I personally really enjoyed this place after meeting the staff and learned from them.

Amazing place! Everyone was so lovely in there and the origami master made us a rose ❤️❤️ so kind! Lots of things to buy too at really affordable prices! Also at the top floor you can learn how they dye the paper all the fun colours 🍀 and it’s free entry!

What an amazing discovery. We went to the shop when we received a demonstration and also met the origami master. They sell all sorts of high quality paper and on another floor we visited the paper dying studio!

There are few display of figurines made by paper. Perfect work. They have prebooked origami classes too. They also have so many origami books and craft papers to choose.
We are lucky to meet the owner the master himself doing demonstrations on how to fold it, “easy is the best” he said, which I agreed. I got his signature too when I purchase his books.
Worth the visit.

Worth visiting if you’re either in the area, or are really into origami.
We got to meet the Grand Master, who signed the origami books we bought.
It’s not particularly large, but enough to see. Only spent less than an hour there, although 30mins is probably enough.

The author and owner of this Origami Museum name is Kazuo Kobayashi.
He published many of origami books and sells them at this location.
He is 83 years old this year.
He is still very sharp and fun in his demonstration and we were lucky enough to came just in time for it.

Awesome place, we had a good look around, bought some fairly priced items from the shop and had a little 30 minute origami lesson. Well worth a visit. They dye their own paper on site, and can be viewed working.
