Origin Hotel Red Rocks

"First impressions? This newer four-story hotel is the official accommodation at Red Rocks, the red-hued outdoor amphitheater known for perfect acoustics and twinkling views of downtown Denver. Conveniently located three miles from the amphitheater, just off I-70 (Colorado’s busy mountain highway), Origin Red Rocks features a bland, boxy exterior that belies the fun, music-inspired decor inside. Parking is plentiful in surrounding lots, and the colorful lobby reads like a famous drummer’s alpine retreat; leather-clad, midcentury-inspired rocking chairs sit around a modern gas fireplace, bright murals welcome guests to the elevator, and weathered reclaimed wood is balanced by floor-to-ceiling windows. It’s a cheery atmosphere for a hotel with a growing pedigree of distinguished guests—look closely between refurbished guitars and you’ll find autographs of musicians scrawled on the exposed concrete. What's the backstory?Origin Red Rocks is the debut location of the Origin Hotel Group, a Mississippi-based chain with outposts in Lexington, Ky., Raleigh, N.C., and Colorado. The hotel group’s branding is millennial marketing at its finest, with a focus on “shared moments," wellness and community. How are the rooms? An array of room types cater to every kind of concert-goer. Couples fit nicely in classic king rooms thanks to plush mattresses, spacious subway-tiled bathrooms, and 50-inch TVs that come wired with Netflix. The 900-square foot Red Rocks suites are large enough to host the whole band, and the hotel also offers eight-person rooms perfect for groups of friends wanting to bunk on a budget. If you want an upgrade without breaking the bank, ask for a corner suite—the larger rooms come with separate seating areas and panoramic mountain views. Is there a charge for Wi-Fi?Wi-fi is free, fast, and reliable. Drinking and dining—what are we looking at?The onsite restaurant, Nomad Taqueria + Beer Garden, serves southwestern-inspired food with more than 20 local beers on tap. Entrees can be hit or miss, but the margaritas and appetizers (like chips, salsa, and queso fundido) make it a pleasant spot to pregame before a concert. If you’re soaking in the Colorado sunshine, snag a spot on the dog-friendly outdoor patio, where modern picnic tables, yard games, and fire pits level up the standard hotel restaurant experience. And the service?Front desk staff are helpful and eager to please, while the service at the onsite restaurant is less consistent. If you’re headed to a concert at Red Rocks, ask the concierge to line up tickets for the hotel shuttle (about $25 per person). Although you still have to walk a quarter-mile into the venue after the shuttle drops you off, it’s an easy way to navigate a car-free trip to the concert. Who's here?Music is the common theme here, so guests range from Patagonia-wearing Dave Matthews fans to Gen Z Billie Eilish addicts sporting mom jeans. When concerts aren’t on tap (hello, winter), you’ll find outdoorsy types hiking nearby trails or enjoying a stopover on the way to ski towns. What about the neighborhood?Located about 20 minutes west of downtown Denver, Origin Red Rocks is best located for those looking to see a concert or hit the trails. Although a free shuttle operates in a five-mile radius from the hotel, a highway location away from Denver proper, means that you won’t find any walkable restaurants or shops. If you need dinner or happy hour, your best bet is a quick 10-minute jaunt north to the historic college town of Golden. Anything you'd change? The hotel’s exterior architecture feels more "suburban strip mall" than "downtown chic." Any other features worth noting?A well-equipped fitness center features rowers, treadmills, and TRX, and you can also ask for a stationary bike or yoga kit for your room. If adrenaline is more your scene, rent a mountain bike and hit the nearby trails—the concierge can point the way. Bottom line. With access to nearby hiking trails and a convenient location at the base of the Colorado foothills, Origin Red Rocks hits all the right notes for music lovers headed to a concert at Red Rocks amphitheater." - Megan Barber

Modern hotel very convenient to Red Rocks. Amphitheater, it was nice that they had an affiliation with the shuttle service that we were able to book. Only thing you need to remember is it's a good idea to book it in advance of arrival. It is a contracted service, not really part of the hotel.amenities. People really need to know to reserve this online prior to arrival to expedite check in processi. looked like i many people assumed it was part of the hotel amenities and were trying tak book at the ime of tcheck in.....really slowed down the process for others, waiting to check in. The in room coffee service was not very good. They had a whole different mix of different coffee machines that were very difficult to use. It was just faster to run across the street to the convenience gas station and get a cup of coffee at the end of the day. It would've been nice if they had some sort of coffee service set up in the lobby for people because the only way to get a coffee at the hotel was when the restaurant opened after 7 AM. The restaurant itself was nice. It offered a nice menu for breakfast. The outdoor viewer garden was pretty nice too overall. A nice day. If you are planning on visiting the amphitheater

I was worried about this hotel from some negative reviews but found it to be an excellent choice for attending concert at Red Rocks and will stay again if we attend another event there. Yes it is pricy. You are paying for the location. Staff was pleasant and helpful; the room and common areas are updated and clean. We enjoyed good food and drink in the restaurant. We took the shuttle to Red Rocks (book and pay separate from room) and it was convenient. There is a gas station across the street for incidentals and a coffee shop near. Otherwise is a bit isolated. I would stay in Golden for proximity to shopping and restaurants if Red Rocks isn’t the main purpose of your trip.

We enjoyed our stay at the Origins Hotel near Red Rocks. The proximity to the amphitheater made it super easy to get in & out for the Gracie Abrams concert as well as our daily excursions in the nearby area. The staff at the hotel was great, especially Gill (front desk smiles all the time - he remembered us each day and was so friendly and always willing to help), Vinnie (bartender - my daughter and her friend loved his mocktails and his coordinating attire and he makes a mean spicy margarita!), Reed & Jamie (Nomad restaurant - they were super friendly and my girls loved chatting about music with Reed and I loved the coffee for those early mornings when a tired mom needed a quick pick-me up and Jamie was right there with a smile and quick pour). They made everything just a little more special for the sweet 16 birthday trip for my daughter! Thank you so much. :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Origins Hotel Red Rocks is the perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Red Rocks Amphitheatre or exploring the beautiful foothills near Golden and Morrison! The location is unbeatable — just minutes from the venue, and super convenient for hiking trails, downtown Golden, and quick access to I-70. The rooms are clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed with a cool Colorado aesthetic. I loved the comfy beds, spacious bathrooms, and mountain views. The on-site restaurant, Nomad Taqueria + Beer Garden, has a great local vibe with tasty food and a strong craft beer list — perfect for grabbing a bite after a concert or day of adventure. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready with recommendations for things to do in Golden, Wheat Ridge, or Evergreen. Whether you’re here for a Red Rocks show, a Colorado weekend getaway, or just passing through Jefferson County, this hotel is a gem. Highly recommend staying here for an authentic and relaxing Colorado experience! 🌄🎶🍻

Google
The rooms bathroom door glass window... And it's a barn door so it doesn't close all the way. I had to listen to my father take the longest pee of his life. The overhead light doesn't work and half the light switches don't go anywhere. The Internet is SO AWFUL. true vacation mode. The beds are clean though. And I appreciate the interior design effort. Location? If all you're doing is going to red rocks for a concert it's fine. Otherwise it's a strip mall of a gas station, dispensary, and a liquor store. I will end by saying the STAFF IS AMAZING!! friendly and attentive. The nomad restaurant servers are awesome and the front desk people are great. They save this place.

Google
We had a great experience with this hotel. Good location for Red Rocks, recommend booking shuttle bus for $60. Friendly young guy checked us in yesterday & nice lady at front desk today. Clean, comfortable room, great lobby, lounge, restaurant & outdoor space. Seems good for dogs too. Recommend.

Google
This hotel was awesome and the closest to Red Rocks! The rooms were great and well decorated. The hotel bar has good food and drinks. The staff was nice as well. Apparently, they have a shuttle to Red Rocks but it sounded overpriced. Nice views too. Highly recommended but try to book way ahead of time and get a deal, it can be pretty expensive otherwise.

Google
Perfect place to stay for a concert goer to Red Rocks! The hotel was trendy, clean, and centrally located. We visited the gas station across the street a few times for needed items and had a delicious breakfast at the cafe within walking distance! We also drank at the hotel bar and loved it. Highly reccomend!

Yelp
Nice location, clean and pet friendly. The front desk staff was so nice and answered all our questions and even had a treat for our dog. We only stayed one and didn't get a chance to visit the hotel bar, but it looked nice and cozy. Definitely plan to stay again.

Yelp
Be sure to check your bank statement if you stay here and have any issues such as late arrival. I had booked a non refundable two nights. I didn't arrive the first night and I knew I wouldn't get a refund. But they had decided I was a no show. So when I did arrive they had to figure out how to get me into a room. It took about an hour and a half. I was told I wouldn't be charged as I'd already paid for the two nights. I asked them. I understood I wouldn't get a refund for the night I missed. But I ended up paying TWICE for the night I stayed even after I was told that wouldn't be the case.

Yelp
I wish there were more than 5 stars. Phenomenal stay. We got stuck in the snow storm and this was the perfect place to hang out and enjoy the snow days. Every single staff were so kind and while being under so much stress and the busiest, the did not buckle with the pressure. They were professional, hospitable and kind to ALL. Super cool hotel!

Yelp
Stayed twice now , this time 3 nights , no clean towels , have to go request them at desk. They don't have any maids to clean rooms , found batteries and pills on the floor. Won't go back, wouldn't let my dog stay here...

Yelp
Clean modern hotel which is the choice of people coming into town for a concert at red rocks. Not part of a chain. The king bed was awesome, the temperature control was very responsive. Decor is like Marriotts "the loft" design. Everything worked perfectly. in room coffee and fridge. Breakfast not included, not even morning coffee. Budget 45 additional dollars for the hotel restaurant.

Yelp
Great location if you are going to red rocks. *Love the artwork, but beware if you come high lol trippy Came here for one night as we were heading to an Umphree's Mcgee concert. This hotel seems like the only one around. Great location less than a 10 minute drive from red rocks. Walking distance from breweries, a gas station for late night snacks and a 6am coffee shop. Little gift shop with Red Rocks clothing that isn't at the RR gift shop. Front desk staff were great! I did have to take off one star. I was debating between a three and four star though. First the parking lot is awful, it is super tight and if you don't park in the front you have to park all the way in the back and they don't have a back entrance. The bed was also very used, soft and uncomfortable. If you have a bad back, these beds will make it worse, you sink in the second you sit on it. They are clearly not rotating the mattresses of replacing them when worn out. Also, the shampoo and conditioner they provide is just communal on the wall and can be tamper with. I have seen that style before but normally it is locked so only the person servicing the room can open the lid. For how much we are paying they can afford to provide individual bottles. Bring your own because you never know what someone puts inside there. Lastly the price of this hotel was outrageous. Paying $600 plus for less than 24 hours, I expect somewhat of a luxury stay. They couldn't even afford complementary water bottles in the room ($5 each, worse than Disney land prices). I personally wouldn't come back just because it's not worth it to pay that much when I live an hour away. But if you are open to splurging a bit, and are looking to be as close to Red Rocks as possible this is the spot! Overall 3.5/5

Yelp
We flew into Denver later and stayed here on our way to Breckinridge for our snowboarding trip. The hotel is conveniently located off I-70 and is near a variety of food places within walking distance. When I got to the front desk to check in, there was a sign that said they'd be back in 5 minutes. I waited for a while and no one showed up, and more people were coming in and forming a line. It was definitely way past 5 minutes. My husband tried to call the hotel and whoever picked up was not helpful and seemed confused as to why we were saying there's no one at the front desk. A guy finally showed up and seemed flustered but was nice. The hotel and room is very tastefully decorated and clean. The bed is comfortable and we didn't have any issues with noise the night we stayed.

Yelp
Comfortable clean rooms. Has a gym with free weights and cardio machines. Onsight bar and restaurant so you don't have to go out in the cold if you don't want to. Close to Red Rocks, Dinosaur Ridge, and Cabrini Shrine.

Yelp
We had a great two night stay for a concert at Red Rocks. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Food at the onsite restaurant was good, but it was expensive. There is a nice outdoor seating area attached to the restaurant/bar. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Red Rocks and the pick up and drop off was great! Our seats were close to the stage and in the lower section so the drop off and pick up points were especially close, but still required some walking. The hotel does have free charging stations for electric vehicles. It came in handy for our rental car. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we would stay again, especially for concerts!

Yelp
Came for a wedding. The staff was wonderful and the food at Nomad excellent. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom with walk in shower a nice touch. Nicely designed interior and bedrooms. Only ten minutes from Red Rocks amphitheater! However, the parking lock in front was skimpy and usually full, meaning you had to park in the back and walk up to the front. The front entrance wasn't covered so we got wet unloading our luggage. But the front desk people were wonderful!

Yelp
My wife and I decided to try something a little different than our usual Choice hotels type place and Origin came up. We've been by there numerous times over the past few years and it always looked nice. The place was super clean! The staff was very friendly as well. I unfortunately fell down on the ice when we arrived out by my vehicle of my own doing. lol. The manager bought me a couple of drinks on the house for my troubles which he didn't have to do. The bartender was so friendly and chatty! We enjoyed an app and a couple of drinks before heading to our room. The room was clean, up to date, modern and spacious. For a weekend getaway, I highly recommend this place! There's other places to see within walking and hiking distance as well! We will be back! Thanks for taking good care of us, Origin! B

Yelp
The staff was really wonderful and helpful. The room looked identical to the photos that are posted but the big issue that I had was with the shower. The water pressure was so strong that it wasn't pleasant at all. It felt like being blasted with 9 tiny fire hoses. I ran out of water before I could even finish washing my hair because it blasted through it all so quickly. Probably the worst shower experience I've had in any hotel. The body wash container was really watered down too. My guess is watering it down so they don't have to replace it as often. Beyond that though the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and I loved the aesthetic of it all!

Joe B.

Yelp
The hotel was probably very nice when it opened . The carpet is either stained or damaged in the hallways . The elevator thresholds were disgusting and the rooms did not seem as clean as they should be.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came into town for a night and stayed at Origin. We both love the atmosphere and design of the hotel. The front desk agent who checked us in was fantastic-throwing in a couple of free drink cards because we had a long travel day. We booked a deluxe king room which had a mountainside view. The room was spacious, clean and well designed. We had an issue with our original room on the second level because the mattress was caved in on the right side and had an incredibly squeaky bed frame. We called down to the front desk and the issue was promptly resolved with a room change to the 4th floor. The room on the 4th floor had a slightly better view but the bed was still a little caved in on the right side and squeaked but was minimal compared to our previous room. The bed was comfortable, however, it is clear this establishment may need to update their mattresses. Breakfast was good. This place makes a solid Bloody Mary! I had the chorizo breakfast burrito which was fantastic! Fun tip: Elk pass through the field on the mountainside of the hotel. If you're lucky, you can watch them from your hotel window munching away on brush

Yelp
The staff is very friendly, especially Kaitlyn at the front desk and Vinny the bartender. The fun artwork and vibe was great. Our only complaint is the mattress was terrible. Very soft and lumpy. Not only our room but our three friends that stayed in other rooms all experienced the same thing. Time to revamp and get new beds in this hotel.
google avatar

Joshua R.

Yelp
Room was clean and spacious. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Kaitlyn in particular was very helpful, and worked to get me a room a little early as I had arrived before I had planned.

T G.

Yelp
I'm giving this hotel a 1 star because we just came out of Covid and the shower wasn't cleaned. There was hair on the wall of the shower and a hair tie on the soap dish. When I told the front desk they did nothing and asked if I was keeping the on the card on file. Didn't offer anything for to rectify it.

Yelp
Nice property. Staff very friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth and efficient. As for the rooms, very basic rooms. Well appointed, nice amenities. On-site restaurant Nomad was great for breakfast. Walking distance to local brewery and whiskey bar. Nice place for a couple nights stay. Easy to access from freeway. Decent hiking nearby. Looking forward to hotel's shuttle bus to concert tomorrow.

Yelp
Nice hotel in a good location! It has great style, a wonderful restaurant, and enough other places nearby that you can stay a few days & still get some variety. If you book the king corner suite, be warned - it has a weird layout. The bathroom is as far from the bed as it could possibly be, you have to walk through the living area almost all the way to the door. Which would be convenient for socializing / having guests in the room, except that it has one of those stupid sliding barn doors and a big frosted window that takes up the whole top of the door, so... zero privacy if anyone is in the living area. The bed was weirdly soft and lumpy, pretty uncomfortable but I can deal with that for a few days. In general I'd recommend this hotel, especially if you're going to a show at Red Rocks. I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Remi C.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. We had a beautiful view. Rooms were gorgeous with nice wood flooring. The beds were ridiculously comfortable and slept so good. I don't think I ever sleep that good. HAHA. Nice bathrooms with a standing shower. It's safe to say we enjoyed our stay here.

C P.

Yelp
The best quality about this hotel is that it is located in a safe area and I didn't have concern of vehicle theft. The perfume smell in the public areas in hotel is extremely strong. The room did not have the smell thankfully as the windows do not open. The third floor had a very strong urine smell. I suspect from all the dogs I saw, someone didn't clean up after them. I do love that the hotel is dog friendly tho! The room was just ok. A double queen room was smaller than expected. The bathroom needed a deep clean. The shower didn't have adequate shelving for personal bathroom soaps. The bathroom barn door was not private enough for guests. The beds were very soft, too soft for our comfort. The "Mountain View" was a hillside view with a concrete plant and towers. Unfortunately, there is not very good parking. We had to park in the rear of the building with NO back door entrance. With bad weather this was very inconvenient. After a long day of driving, we opted to eat at the restaurant on-site. It was extremely expensive for the amount of food and quality. Don't expect anything in the morning to help get going. There was only water offered. Overall, the value was ok since the room was reduced due to a quieter week.

Barbara R.

Yelp
When we were given our room key to our reserved room, we noticed blood stains on the bedsheets. The desk clerk did not give much of an apology, but just stated the sheets would be changed. We were a bit grossed out. All nearby hotel establishments were booked do we could not go elsewhere. We were not given a complimentary anything. For the price spent $500 per night , we not not impressed.

Beth S.

Yelp
had a great stay thanks to Katelyn and Vinny. The staff that we met during our two day stay were all friendly and helpful. Our room was nice, the churro's were yummy, the fire pit is a nice hangout and you have access to the guitar anytim. The location is great for concerts and hiking.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Newer hotel. Friendly staff and very comfortable beds. Unfortunately, I have no idea if this hotel has a GM. It's not a clean hotel. While it's new, it doesn't appear that maintenance, general upkeep, or daily cleaning is something they care about. The gym is dirty. Has piles of dust and dust bunnies on the window seals, on the floor, and filthy mirrors and windows. Handprints everywhere. The food and coffee was average and quite expensive, and they don't offer cream with coffee. We stayed for 4 nights, and were very ready to leave. The best thing is that the staff is very accommodating and friendly, and the beds are excellent. If you don't mind a grubby hotel and you are just in town for a concert, it's a decent place to crash. They should definitely take some time to clean up their outside dog area. Too much poop everywhere. Pretty gross.

BeautifulBohemianNoBS L.

Yelp
Katelyn is fabulous, really cares and takes action. So much is beyond her control and she jumps hoops, really cares! The front desk staff are accommodating and resourceful. I had no hot water for my shower and it was fixed in less than 24 hours. They gave us a semi-comped breakfast for our troubles. I paid for the fruit and the extra chicken plus gratuity. I've submitted my concerns to corporate customer service because the staff are in over their heads. Katelyn is fixing the triple dinner charge from last night though. The hotel is understaffed and cannot handle to full booking: 1) don't book up your hotel or 2) hire more people. The room was dirty. They came to clean a second time. It was okay. But seriously - just actually dust, vacuum (especially under the furniture, and wipe the soap off the counters. Today i was working out with my son in the gym. The male housekeeper opened the door and we greeted him, he did not respond. We told him we were not finished working out. I have anaphylaxis to cleaning spray. I told him I am allergic to cleaning spray. He came over to the are we were working out in and decided to spray and clean so we left. The bar was happening, the events were spectacular, the staff are kind. I know they will fix whatever problems exist! I only came here for a Trevor Hall experience. I'll stick with him I just. If you do choose to come here tell Katelyn I sent you! The manager is great. They need a few more Katelyn's and the kind server he was wonderful. And there is still no excuse for cold water showers for 36 hours and blaming me and my son. Wyndham will partially reimburse. We will change to other hotels including Choice, Hilton etc.

Yelp
Drove from Illinois for a show at Red Rocks. Audrey and Briton at the front desk were stellar! Design and feel of hotel is clean, modern and comfortable. Love the vibe! Had a super memorable experience - everything was clean and comfortable. thank you so much!!!

Yelp
CALLING ALL BRIDES GETTING MARRIED NEAR MORRISON OR GOLDEN - strongly recommend NOT getting a hotel block with Origin Red Rocks Hotel. The week before our wedding hotel block cut off date, we reached out to the hotel to confirm the status of our block and see where the reservations were landing. We signed a contract where we needed to reserve X number of rooms or we'd be liable for the difference so we were making sure we weren't falling behind and guests were still needing to book rooms at that point. We received an email from them saying we were all set on our block of rooms so we started directing guests to another hotel. Fast forward to the week of our wedding, we get an email from them saying we owe them $2,000 in damages to the hotel for not meeting our minimum number of rooms in the block. We were shocked by this news and they have failed to try to make anything right and recognize their miscommunication to us. We asked for rooms upgrades or even just giving us a key to one of the extra rooms for extra family but they wouldn't do anything... If we had known we were under the number of rooms, we would have guided our guests to book there or at least paid for the rooms ourselves... Now we're left to pay them for rooms that we didn't even use AND they resold the rooms to the general public. So disappointing for us as the couple and our families who have chosen to stay at their hotel. Really would recommend my brides to avoid the headache and stress of working with the Origin

Yelp
We booked this the morning of our stay as we drove from MN to CO. The website states their COVID action plan and policies and that they aren't booking any rooms up to 48 hours once they have been occupied. This alone makes you feel safe and assured. When we arrived we were happy to find that the pictures and description match real life. Easy check in process, front desk employees are wearing mask, stay a safe distance apart, explain everything needed and send you on your way. They are offering to go breakfast at the front desk in the mornings for purchase. They clearly let you know you can order from the Nomad restaurant downstairs and eat it in your room if you'd like. And they have reminders to social distances and only ride with 2 persons or your own party in the elevator. The room was clean and felt very modern and laid out. The only thing we noticed was quite a bit of dust underneath things and along corners with it being all wood floors but other than that we felt totally safe especially for it being our first stay since COVID took over our active lifestyle. When you check out you place your keys in a bucket of sanitizer and carry on your way. Red rocks amphitheater is currently closed to pedestrians and visitors which is a bummer but just means we will have to come back to see a show and stay here again once life allows us to! The gym was still closed FYI as they have to follow state guidelines. Located outside of golden but close enough and close to red rocks. Hallways can be louder once people are moving about and we kept hearing a double knock noise in the early hours which was odd - thinking it was an electric room maybe across the hall from us? Not sure! Gas station literally a stones throw away so easy to fill up if you are road tripping before hopping in the road again. Thank you, origin for being clean and friendly and making us feel safe and welcome staying here. We wish you all the luck as you continue to start reopening and welcoming guests.

Yelp
Checking in on a Friday night was a breeze and Colton's service was outstanding! He was so helpful and patient with us (our reservations were a little complicated). The live music in the lobby was so relaxing and added such a great vibe to the ambiance. We decided to eat at the restaurant for dinner and it didn't disappoint. The brussel sprouts were ON POINT! Vinnie the bartender made us feel at home with his welcoming service and greeted us by name, making it seem like we knew each other for years. Waking up Saturday morning and going down for an AM bite to eat and being greeted by Jamie's humor and laughter...it literally brightened our day. He was the best in helping with our order and the coffee  ;) The hotel grounds are very nice and the beds are extremely comfortable. But, the service at this hotel outshined any amenities offered here. I would recommend this hotel 10/10!

Jake R.

Yelp
Stayed here while attending a concert at Red Rocks. Immediately when you walk in you're greeted by a nice lounge area with a fireplace. It has a bar and restaurant that are just a few steps from the lobby. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. Love the look of the rooms. If there are any negatives, I would say that it's a little bit too expensive, but in the long run, it was worth it because of how close it is to the concert venue.

Yelp
It took me a day or so to warm up to this hotel. At first, I found it a little too modern for my taste and noticed some inconvenience like the lack of drawers to store clothes, especially underwear and socks and little things like that. So you have to keep things in your suitcase, but there is a nice area to lay it down. There is also a closet to hang shirts and coats. Then I discovered the pluses of this hotel: Comfortable bed with nice linens Super nice shower, powerful and roomy. Nice when you come from a long hike and all you want is relax and get some soothing from a nice hot shower. Quiet, even though it's a dog friendly hotel, I was never bothered by any barking Nice TV with Netflix, which you just have to sign in. That signing resets every day which is a little annoying when you stay for a week but insures your privacy when you leave the room. Decently fast free internet which you can upgrade to a very fast one Nice and very affordable restaurant (Nomad) which is convenient when you are too tired to go anywhere after a long day in the mountains. Cute art throughout the hotel Super nice front desk Other choices for food across the street Very convenient location, right off I70 and not far from other main roads

Yelp
I needed a last-minute place to crash in Golden, and this was great. It was clean and relatively spacious (I booked the slightly larger king bed room). The only drawback was that there was no housekeeping available, so when I needed new towels, they were slow and awkward about dropping them off, and there wasn't a way to get rid of the dirty towels (long story short, we had a hiking adventure that ended with us needing to wash ourselves and our shoes). I'm assuming the lack of housekeeping was a temporary issue, but it was a little inconvenient. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

Yelp
HOUSEKEEPING STOLE MY CLOTHES!! I kept my nicest jacket in the closet and housekeeping stole it. I coincidentally had an airtag in this jacket to track my luggage when traveling and they must have found the airtag and abandoned it in a park in denver. I had already left, and I left it in the closet in the room, but I called immediately after leaving and the front desk (Ben in particular) was very unhelpful. They refused to look for it and said that it would "show up" and that housekeeping must have it. 3 days later the jacket is in the middle of denver and the airtag is abandoned. I called only 2 times, the first ben was unhelpful and the second (2 days later) Ben told the person not to look for my jacket because it "hadn't shown up" as if he knew right off the top of his head. Completely sus that they wouldn't look for it. And that they implied that housekeeping must have it but then someone steals it and goes home with it. Choose a more respectable hotel for your stay.

Yelp
Humans and dogs enjoyed our stay at Origin so much! Clean rooms, quiet, very dog friendly - the staff seemed happy to see our pets.

Yelp
This place is to die for. Excellent service, excellent rooms, excellent atmosphere... oh and the food is also, yes, Excellent! This hotel has everything and extras you didn't think about.. I wasn't there for a show, just drove across country to visit my son n and stayed here for a week. Loved it! Of course there were a few grumpy people I dealt with but that didn't minus any stars because it's that good of a place. Shout out to the team Josh who signed me out.

Yelp
Save yourself and go somewhere else for HH. Came here for a hotel stay. The room is beautiful. But the hotel restaurant service is horrible. Sat down and didn't get a waitress so moved to a diff spot just for better seating and both hostess and waitress were just chatting away and not helping us at all. Was hardly busy at all. There was one table in the dining room and a few people at the bar. Very disappointing in the service. Just ordered pop and water since they had no n/a choice, and "couldn't" make n/a drinks... so there's that. Won't be back for HH or food.

Yelp
Had a great stay here to see a concert at red rocks! Colton was so awesome. He is so personable, charismatic and really helped our stay. What a fun hotel

Yelp
We stayed here the night before having to depart Colorado, and we absolutely loved it. The room was big enough, and it was very aesthetically pleasing. As soon as we arrived, we noticed how beautiful the exterior looked. Walking in? It blew our minds. We didn't expect it to look this great for the price we had to pay for 4 people. Our rooms? Amazing. It's very spacious and comfortable. Our bathroom? A really nice play to relax in the shower. Everything was just great.

Yelp
We stopped in to pregame before the concert at red rocks, the drinks were great the food was Meh. Thought it was really cool that they have shuttle service to red rocks. There is a ton of outdoor seating which is cool. This place could be amazing but the nachos were ok but the meat tasted like Hormel chili and the Brussel sprouts were burnt but did I mention the drinks were great and the selection was great as well

Yelp
I used to stay at this hotel after Red Rocks concerts. It was nice and the staff was friendly. We recently tried to book rooms for our upcoming summer concerts. The rates are absolutely inflated for the popular concerts. There is no way we are booking them for a three night concert run at five hundred dollars a night. You can get a very nice room in Vail for that price. The Origin is not worth the cost at all! You will be simply paying that price because they are the closest hotel to Red Rocks. Do your research and stay at a nicer hotel a couple miles away. Do not pick the Aiden it's dirty and needs to be improved still.

Yelp
Sooo bad!! All common areas in hotel smelled like sewage. It was unbearable. We had 8 people, 4 rooms in our party and all of us had to hold our breath just to walk through the lobby. Waaaayyyyyy over priced!

Yelp
"Just minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Nomad Taqueria + Beer Garden offers grab-and-go options for hikers and guests in need of a quick bite before taking on the outdoors. With floor-to-ceiling windows and a large outdoor patio accented by rustic wood and leather finishes, Nomad Taqueria serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and daily happy hour as well as a late-night menu." "About Nomad Taqueria + Beer Garden: With a menu inspired by the extensive travels of Executive Chef Christopher Medved throughout Mexico, the Southwest's Four Corners region and Colorado, Nomad Taqueria + Beer Garden features a wide selection of tacos alongside traditional Mexican favorites, shareable plates, sandwiches, salads, soups and large entrees. An expansive bar features more than 20 local beers on tap, a wide selection of bottled beer, kombucha on tap, and of course, the best damn margarita in town." That being said this area is really growing and expanding. Great proximity to Red Rocks. I usually meet with friends to ski and snowboard in the nearby Jurassic Park and Ride. We get gas at the gas station across the street. Now they have an excellent restaurant and hotel. Great for visitors, bad weather, pregaming a Red Rocks show. Excellent. Even living in town this would be a nice staycation option. Sometimes you just need a break in your own city!!! They have bikes for rent and have a shuttle service to take you two and from Red Rocks events. This area has a few new businesses across the street and is a short drive from Colfax Avenue and Lakewood/Colorado Mills. Super nice rooms. Large parking area plus electric vehicle charging stations. The hotel contains a few meeting rooms so while far from the airport this is a solid choice for your next company event.

Yelp
Walls are thin. Restaurant is way over rated. It's really a monopoly on local places with a shuttle to the event.

Yelp
Wow! Overpriced to say the least! No shuttle red rocks for Bert Kreischer but they don't tell you until you check in. Breakfast server was clearly in a bad mood and just a lame experience from this place!

Yelp
First time to visit this location. I placed a takeout order that took over 30 minutes for soup and one street taco with crowd capacity at around 30% on a Wednesday night. I ordered the meatball soup at $15. I received two paper cups half full amounting to about 8-12 oz of soup with three meatballs. The $4.50 chorizo papas street taco. Should be simply named Papas taco. Both lacked any bursts of flavor.

Yelp
We picked this place in kind of a rush as our plans changed abruptly. Boy, did we get lucky. Origin is funky, mountain modern, and whistle-clean. The room was well-appointed and everything is very well maintained. The in-house bar restaurant served terrific food - we enjoyed a hatch chili and fried Brussels sprouts. But the very best part was the staff. Everyone was obviously local and tremendously cheerful and helpful. Every interaction was casual and happy. We're placid, middle-age types, this is a pretty hip property, and it was a holiday weekend, so there was a bit of party noise in the halls, but nothing outrageous given the circumstances. It's a wonderful hotel in a pretty setting with good food and great people. I will make an excuse to stay there again.

Yelp
Cool hotel and great customer service even during COVID. We came in late and they were so accommodating. Will be back!

Yelp
If I could give 10 stars, I would!! We booked a room here last min for our visit to CO. We wanted to be near the mountains but also close enough to Denver, and the location of Origin Hotel is perfect! The hotel staff was so kind and went above & beyond - Caitlin specifically was wonderful to work with! The king suite was gorgeous, and the mattress and sheets were extremely comfortable. We slept great during our entire stay. The hotel was very accommodating and made sure we had a great stay. It's overall such a fun vibe, with all the relaxed seating in the lobby next to the beer garden & Nomad Taqueria. Great for families, travelers with pups, or couples. It would also be a perfect stay if you're going to attend an event at Red Rocks since it is only a few mins away! We look forward to staying here again next time we're in CO.

Yelp
The staff were great, the food and drinks good, access to red rocks and local brewery, nice, but the bed was lumpy the walls were thin the furniture was chipped and the bathroom although nice really needed a deep clean.
