"Meet at the fountain near the Park Inn on Alexanderplatz for a fun, free Original Berlin Tours walk with groups capped at about 10 people so you have access to the guide; stops commonly include the Reichstag, the Berliner Dom, Checkpoint Charlie, and various World War II sites of battle, and although the itinerary is up to each guide you’ll learn a lot." - Matthew Kepnes
This was hands down the best 20 euros I spent while in Europe! The guide (Jacob) was very enthusiastic about Berlin and gave amazing information and anecdotes. He was funny as well which made it that much nore enjoyable. It's a little demanding in terms of the distance you will walk but very well worth it and in fact I booked it the very first thing in my trip to Berlin so it can open up other things that I'm particularly interested in to visit in the upcoming days.
Highly recommended!

Super disappointing walking tour. Sadly, our tour guide only gave us the basic facts and we found it really disjointed. Said she would come back to things/explain it later and never did.
Recently did a few other free walking tours and reflected on our Berlin experience. We love the history in Berlin, but sadly the tour guide was not for us.

Wonderful and thoughtful tour! Our guide Francisco is an amazing storyteller, he makes you feel as if you were right there during the significant events that shaped Berlin. It makes a difference when a guide cares and you can tell he did. The original tour takes you to many of the historical spots over a few hours, so bring water and a snack (although there is time to stop and grab an espresso :) Book this tour !

Richard was a fantastic guide for the Cold War and Berlin Wall tour. He has a wealth of knowledge and pointed out things we never would've figured out on our own (as evidenced by us walking past things a few times without realizing their historical importance).

Really insightful Sachsenhaus tour with Paul. He has a great knowledge of the history of the war and was very passionate about sharing with the group.

We really enjoyed our half day walking tour with Nathan. Not only did it give us a really good insight into the history of Berlin but he offered many fantastic recommendations on other places to visit to learn more and even some film/book recommendations. We had quite a full tour but he still managed to engage everyone in the group. Best part of our trip!

We went on a tour of Sachsenhausen Memorial & Museum today with our tour guide Ronja, and we really enjoyed it! She was very knowledgeable about the site and we enjoyed how personal / friendly she was. Thank you!
