John was roasting when we walked in and took time to explain his work with growers and the developing coffee scenes in all the places hes worked, and is still going out to find machines and promote quality and exploration in coffee. We took 4 different roasts on a sailing trip and enjoyed every one of them! Excellent light roasts

I was lucky enough to try some sample roasting and shadow some larger batches. Ordered coffee a week ago, still no shipping information updated, doesn't answer the call, message, and email. Nothing.

I met the owner In Vancouver last year. Really nice guy, got chatting to him and he gave me two test roasts to try for free as well as inviting me to their coffee tasting! Really good Kenyan coffee with a great flavour profile. If I am ever back in the in the area will definitely try to reconnect with these guys!

The customer service is so bad. They don't know how to talk with people and visitors on Granville island. They just spoil the day of visitors who came to visit and explore the shop.

John is a super friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable coffee roaster. He recommended a bean for our espresso machine at work and it made a big difference in the grind consistency. Plus, the taste is amazing! He has beans from all over the world, a true connoisseur!
