This last minute vaca was absolutely well worth it…. The place is so family friendly the valet, bell and front desk is absolutely 5 star. We had great service all around. The bar in the lobby area was a hit. Great spicy margaritas!! If you’re looking for a good quick refreshment. Pool and water park absolutely stunning views and great for the kids. Stunning golf course views. The greens are immaculate….

Absolutely amazing resort! This is truly one of the best family-friendly places I’ve ever stayed. The water area is incredible — tons of slides, a huge main pool, and four massive TVs playing cartoons and sports, which kept the kids entertained all day. There are activities happening throughout the day, plus a beautiful nightly light show that really brings the resort to life. The hotel itself is humongous, stunning, and packed with things to do. The customer service is outstanding, and every staff member we met was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The complimentary shuttle to the Disney resorts (included with the resort fee) was super convenient and made getting around so easy. One of my favorite features was the 24-hour food area where you can grab meals or snacks anytime — a lifesaver for hungry kids after long days at the parks. Just a quick heads-up: there is a resort fee and a parking fee if you’re driving. Other than that, I honestly have nothing negative to say. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back!

After a work event at this hotel, a few of us were sitting quietly in the lobby around 2:00 a.m. eating potato chips and having a glass of wine. We were respectful, not loud, and having private conversations like normal, tired work travelers. Enter security. A very short, extremely authoritative security officer informed us that the lobby was “closed” and that we were not allowed to sit there or have “outside liquor.” She never once asked whether the wine was purchased from the hotel store downstairs — just straight to “you need to leave.” Moments later, a man named Kip arrived, channeling Paul Blart: Mall Cop energy, insisting we had been told to leave and demanding our room numbers. When asked where hotel policy states that registered guests cannot sit in a common area while behaving appropriately, the only explanation provided was, “because it’s policy.” No policy shown. No clarification. Just vibes and authority. Kip was rude, argumentative, and clearly on a power trip. Instead of de-escalating, he escalated — aggressively. As frequent work travelers and Hilton members, this was a first for us. We’ve stayed in countless hotels after events and have never been told we couldn’t sit quietly in a lobby. This experience single-handedly ensured we’ll never stay at this brand again. If you’re looking for hospitality, flexibility, or basic customer service — keep looking. If you want to feel like you’re being kicked out of your own hotel lobby at 2 a.m., this is the place.

The service and communication in this hotel is horrible I booked a suite over Christmas break waited for top dollar spending 2k for two nights to have a great experience as they put a holiday pop up in by the pool, it’s all a gimmick. The hotel did not deliver my request at check in for a severe down/feather allergy for my bedding, they made me wait till after 5pm to check in for them to “change the bedding” well they wasted my whole Christmas Eve. then woke up in the middle of the night sick with a closed nose and throat cause they never replaced the bedding. Thank god I had emergency medicine with me. This hotel ruined my family vacation and holiday and they could care less. Manger vastel on property did nothing at all but send me a text the next day at 5pm saying they finally changed the bedding and I should file an accident report with security. So I took my time out on Christmas Day to do so, Marriott head quarters called me to hear my story and never followed through since. If you like good caring service then stay away from this hotel, it’s Mess! The property is very dated it looks like a run down airport in the lobby and pool area needs a major renovation, pool area is a mess nobody goes around cleaning up empty food trash or spills. This property is nothing more than a convention center as the staff told us that is all they care about because that’s where they make their money not in family Disney vacations. The pictures on the website is deceiving. The suites are way smaller then pictured and I had a view of a mechanical roof. Everytime u pass a timeshare desk they hound u with free gifts. Pictures of my feathered pillow. Also don’t fall for the amenities department with the holiday add ons. They emailed me a catalog of in room holiday decor for stockings and Christmas tree I paid almost $200 for this. At the time of check in was not connected to my reservation had to scramble to find my order. Front desk is clueless. they finally find my order it arrived late and was literally from the dollar store. The tree was joke it was a mistletoe lol. Stay away from this money trap hotel!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful!! It was decorated very nicely for Christmas. The staff was super friendly in all of my interactions with them. Hotel is very clean, and the rooms are comfortable. My favorite area was the pool!! It was so relaxing, and they had the NFL games on, so I could watch while I was at the pool. One of the downsides was the parking situation. They only had 9 handicapped spots, which doesn't seem to be enough for a property of this size. The parking garage is pretty far away from the resort. Another downside was the breakfast for higher tier members. The free portion of the breakfast was just sad and didn't have anything appetizing on it. I think they should invest in a lounge for the higher tier members. Other than those 2 downsides, I really liked the hotel! I would stay here again. I went offseason and got an awesome deal using my points!!

The hotel is super nice. Rooms were spacious and clean, the view from the 19th floor was incredible and I was able to enjoy the Disney park’s fireworks from the balcony. The staff at the buffet were friendly and really nice with my 2 year old. In general the staff in the hotel were very nice but one lifeguard at the splash pad he was really strict and talk hard to the kids he basically banded half of the kids of the water slide. the others lifeguards were really nice and understood that they were talking with kids.

This is one of our favorite hotels we have visited. If you upgrade to a pool view room you can see all of Disney and Epcot ball. You can see disneys fireworks as well from balcony. Came right after Christmas. They have an unbelievable 12 days of Christmas that runs through new years. Drone shows, fireworks, christmas village, and so much more. Awesome for kids. The water park and lazy river are a huge plus. We absolutely loved everything about it. Food is pricey but the offer a package service before you arrive for a discounted rate. Nightly resort fee is separate along with having to pay to park. Free shuttle service to and from all Disney parks was also a huge plus.

I recently stayed at the Orlando World Center Marriott for a conference, but took advantage of it being so close to Disney. The complimentary shuttles to Disney Springs and the parks were a huge bonus, and the drivers were super nice. The shuttles left promptly and the drivers happily put my stroller underneath (I didn't even have to fold it up!). My one complaint is that there was a large gap in the afternoon/evening from the 2nd to last and last shuttles of the evening. The room attendants kept our room very clean and sweetly decorated our bed with my son's loveys, towel decorations, and some small toys. He was so excited and since we were there during the Christmas season, he was convinced the elves left the surprise for him! This Marriott is large (I heard one of the largest?), so some of the rooms are not super close. There are several restaurants and a market downstairs with quick service food and snacks. There is also a short laser show in the pool area at night. It only lasted about 10 minutes, but my 4-year-old loved it. I still prefer staying onsite for a fully immersive Disney trip, but the Marriott was great and I would stay again if given the opportunity!

I really enjoyed my stay at this property! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the room is clean with a great view of the pool where you can see laser shows and the Disney fireworks in the distance. The pools are wonderful and I love the slides -- they made me feel like a kid again! A very beautiful property with many food options that in my opinion were just okay.

I have stayed at this Marriott several times. Starting at the age of 16. It is magnificent. There are water slides, tubing adventures, etc. the service is amazing, and my husband has many Marriott points from his travels for business. The arcade area is pretty jazzy too! Space Invaders, Skee Ball, basketball, air hockey, claw machines (the little critters in plastic containers aren't too difficult to get). There are two machines that seem like they would dispense tickets; however, it's a bit disappointing because no tickets come out. They are added to the game card. There are many options for snacks, food and beverages. It was nice spending just time at the hotel. And the events that brought us to Orlando were just a quick Uber ride to/from the hotel. Night entertainment included cool laser light shows!

Second year in a row I attend a big event at this property and I cannot say enough great things about their staff. Their banquet team is ON IT! They are very organized, very attentive and authentic providing service. The facilities are very clean and smelling good. Your parking garage might be due for a pressure washing, don't let it get nasty! The meeting space is massive, perfect for large events, plenty of space and amenities. This is your place.

Booked a spontaneous family trip to Orlando and apparently this is the largest Marriott property in the entire world! Built in 1986, this historic Marriott property still runs well even till today. The Orlando World Center Marriott is basically like an all-inclusive resort (without the free food/drinks) that offers family-friendly activities throughout your stay. The property has a parking structure and a parking lot for those who stay at and near the Marriott Vacation Clubs. Parking was $34/night. They do offer valet. There are River Pools that require a wrist band for access. Apparently, it's free for four guests and you'd have to pay $25+ tax for additional wristbands. The River pools feature a lazy river, 3 water slides. There are volcano kiddy pools on the other side. Golf, Mini golf, Spa & Fitness center, and small arcade section. There are a good amount of restaurants at the property and we went to the sports bar to dine-in. Our server Wilson, was very accommodating and nice. Wilson mentioned to me was that he is a Marriott employee for 25 years! Told me his story with the company and still with Marriott which is amazing! Great service although the food at the sports bar was mid at best. The double queen beds we book were just your typical Marriott beds and the room was a bit spacious. Nothing special or to write home about. Housekeeping was great in their service. Overall, the Orlando World Center Marriott is a family friendly "all-inclusive" like resort that is worth checking out. The prices are a bit too high in my opinion but if you're a Bonvoy member, discounts, or credit card promotions, it's worth giving the property a shot. Just note this property is family-friendly so if you're looking for nightlife at the property, this isn't the one for you.

I came here for an education conference. My room was nice with a balcony. The hotel itself has a water park so there is more to do than just the pool. Every night there is a laser light show. Lots of families gathered for this event nightly. They also have a daily list of events for families and children. There are 6 restaurants on the property with different cuisine styles so the choice is nice. The staff was friendly and very professional. They even have a shuttle that runs twice daily to take you to Disney Springs for shopping and eating. It is conveniently located less than 2 miles from Disney. I wouldn't recommend a car on the property though because daily parking is $40 a day. Other than that, it's wonderful. I would definitely stay again if I visit Orlando.

The Orlando World Center Marriott is a large resort known for its impressive amenities and family-friendly atmosphere. It's conveniently located near theme parks like Walt Disney World, making it easy to drive to. Overall, the Orlando World Center Marriott is a solid choice for a large resort experience with plenty of activities and convenient access to Orlando's attractions.

Stayed there for a convention for 3 days. Very large resort close proximity to Disney. Not the greatest value, but nice decor and pretty comfortable rooms. One major fail is that a 2 queen does not have a door seperating the bathroom and the rest of the room. The door separates the toilet and shower from the sink area and mirror. If you want to get dressed in privacy you need to stay in the small toilet/ shower area.

I cannot say enough amazing things about the customer service and this property. This was my birthday weekend and we used Marriott Bonvoy points to get away and a mini-baby moon trip out of it as well. We were greeted by Claudia at guest services who was so kind and assisted us with our room preference and early check-in. Ms. Claudia wished me a happy birthday at the desk and proceeded to send chocolate covered strawberries to our room and some waters which was beyond anything I expected and the perfect treat. We enjoyed many hours by the pool under umbrellas and in the water, down the lazy river and swim areas both days we were there. To be honest, we enjoyed our time so much we didn't leave the property at all, despite full intention to frequent Disney springs via the shuttle and do some shopping. Highlights of food were the Crispy chicken sandwich and a side salad for lunch from latitude and longitude on the day of check-in, the breakfast buffet we chose to indulge in there the following morning with made to order omelets, eggs Benedict and more! Don't skip out on Siri Urban Italian for the most delicious mushroom truffle pizza or their porterhouse like my hubs got! My own wish was there was bread offered with drinks while waiting on the entrees. There is a Starbucks on property but they would not let me redeem my free birthday drink. That's not Marriott's problem though but just letting anyone know who might try and use theirs. They do take normal Starbucks apps though with cards linked. All in all, we had a blast and will definitely be back!

This place felt more like an all inclusive resort without the free food and drink part. This hotel is massive with over 2200 rooms and many meeting spaces. There was a dance competition and a national youth church conference happening when I stayed here so there were a lot of teenagers everywhere. Despite the crowds, the pool was not overcrowded, no noisy hallways and fast elevators. You do have to pay like $30 to self park your car daily or $45 for valet. I chose self park because that gave me the opportunity to walk thru the hotel and get my steps in! There are several onsite restaurants, grab and go food market and a Starbucks onsite, but they don't stay open late. Laser light show with music every night was fun to watch. Waterslide a bonus for the kiddos. Would totally stay here again but only on a high floor!

Clean, busy hotel. Grounds are well maintained. Our room was just as described. Check in personal (sorry, I forgot her name) was super helpful. Bonus: it has one of the rare , highly efficient Starbucks in the lobby. Minimal wait times for a change . Would stay here for pleasure or business again for sure.

Loved the pool area, the rooms were pretty standard with some visible upgrades, the lobby and common areas were beautiful and well kept. There was a large convention going on and it was quite a crowd but the hotel staff kept everything in order quite nicely. Unfortunately the internet (if you're travelling for work) was completely unacceptable and you could spend 40 minutes going in circles on their automated phone network before talking to anyone picks up (and then the person who answered for us was a tech person who wasn't even on the grounds and was impatient, condescending, and somehow also relatively ignorant and entirely unhelpful).

Pros: - lazy river and pool - the New Year's Eve vibe at the grill by the pool was amazing - most of the servers at Longtitude restaurant were very nice - breakfast buffet food was very good (but also very expensive and not much variety day to day) - restaurants and Starbucks on site (the Italian restaurant was ok, not that many options on the menu) - you can order towels and other items on the app, which was convenient - spacious and modern room - arcade room was fun on days we stayed in - self- laundry on site (bring laundry bag) - close to Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld and many restaurants Cons: - lack of cleanliness. The towels were consistently dirty, almost every day. The sheets didn't look clean either. - On some days it took them forever to clean the room, even after multiple requests. - during big conferences, expect big lines at the market/Starbucks

We LOVE this hotel... Hang tight for the ending which is the best part. We love the service here. The lobby has a sushi bar. That is absolutely delicious. There's a a little quick shop, i think it's called The Pantry . This is on the first floor and they have amazing quick breakfasts and lunches and even dinners especially for kids. The pizzas really good. The pool is very cool. And the waterpark is even better! We had an absolute blast. They have a restaurant on the second floor, called latitude and longitude, and the breakfast buffet is incredible. i'm so upset. I can't remember our waitresses name, but she was an Australian lady who used to be a nanny. She brought us schedules for events for the week, (sooooo many activities!). She also explained everything, was very patient and very kind. Here comes the cherry on top ... we left my backpack with both my husband and my wallets IDs and everything in between that's very important. We called the hotel an hour after we left and loss prevention immediately confirmed our amazing housekeeper turned it in. We spoke to the loss prevention manager, who is named Travis. Travis, you're amazing!!!!. Kudos to Marriott for having such amazing employees, with so much patience in regard for your guests! So we went to the website called I left mystuff.com which was so cool. Who would've thought that that was an actual thing?! I've said it over and over again and I will continue to say. There is nothing like a Marriott. PROUD to be platinum members!!

Arrived on 10/5/24-10/13/24 and wasn't aware of Hurricane Milton on its way 10/9-10/10. All I can say is I am glad we booked here rather another hotel due to the structure and size. This was a pretty safe hotel and built for hurricanes. Also others who live around the state will come here (Central Florida) for shelter and safety. It's a huge hotel with lots of space. Grocery store, souvenir store and several restaurants to choose from. High Velocity Sports bar had the perfect steak and I loved the chill vibes there. Our room was on the 18th floor but had to change it a couple days later to a lower floor before the storm. Which front desk didn't ask any questions and had no issues. We barely stayed in the room since we did a Disney Park every day. Loved the convenience of the shuttle to and from the airport, Disney parks, even Disney Springs. Also the water slides, and arcade was a plus for my family! Definitely recommend and will return!

This place is kid paradise. Imagine a hotel with its own water park, multiple pools, multiple water slide areas, activities throughout the day, a large arcade, and glass elevators that seem to blast out of the ceiling a la Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. We stayed for two nights over Easter weekend. My kids declared this their favorite hotel. My daughter cried to leave and declared that she wished that she lived at the Orlando World Center. We had a two vista suite. It had a huge living space including a sofa bed. The separate bedroom was small, but it was nice to have an area for parents to retreat. The bathroom area was also small, with only one sink and a dated looking bathtub. The room's view was of the front of the hotel, which was not great, but we spent so little time in the room, it was fine. The actual room's fittings were okay. The bed was firm, but the (feather) pillows were awful, and the hotel said they were out of foam pillows. The water pressure in the shower was mediocre. When we arrived, the room smelled mildew-y, and the bathtub/shower had no curtain. I had made the reservation for 4 people, but there were not sheets/blankets to make up the sofa bed. Thankfully, housekeeping was quick to bring up the missing items and to make up the sofabed, but managing these things took from my ability to enjoy the resort. Parking was an issue. There's valet parking, but my husband hates valet parking. Self parking is far away enough that there's a shuttle between the lobby and the parking. Eek. Very inconvenient when dealing with multiple suitcases and bags, the inevitable when traveling with kids. The pools were impressive. My daughter was too short for the water slides, but she loved the lazy river. My son and husband loved the water slides, and it was hard to get my son away from the lure of the water slides. He spent almost an entire day at the pool, so thank goodness I didn't plan other things to do that weekend. I will say that there are not enough lounge chairs at all, despite multiple signs telling people not to reserve chairs. People definitely do arrive at the pool early and save blocks of chairs for the whole day. The hotel also sells premiere chairs and cabanas, but I think there should be enough chairs for at least one chair per room. And maybe make the suites come with a guaranteed chair. There's poolside service, and we took advantage. Drinks were expensive and sweet, but there's something about getting a slushy drink while lounging in a pool that screams vacation and is so worth it. We had breakfast at the Central Pantry both mornings, and it gets overwhelmed, but it's still better than the Starbucks in the lobby or the sit down restaurants if you have kids who want to get to the fun. Staff is friendly and nice. All in all, this is a great place to stay with kids for a kid-centric trip. I wouldn't come here without the kids. It's definitely not a luxury hotel experience, but it's a fun hotel experience.

The Orlando World Center Marriott has two wings, and no matter how much you try to wrap your head around it, there's just no way of avoiding cardio during your stay! There are a handful of food options to choose from: bar food, sushi, Italian, a Starbucks, and a small convenient store. Though the food items at the convenient store run a bit pricey ($6 for a single tea bag), I still enjoyed having the option of buying snacks without having to actually leave the property. For kids or kids at heart, this Marriott offers a pretty neat waterpark, an arcade room, and a lazy river (FREE). I was pretty surprised at how many kids I saw at the pool, despite being located close to Disney. Note: the pool gets super packed. I would advise setting up shop early to secure a lounger For fitness enthusiasts, the gym has the bare minimum of cable and cardio machines. For event planners, I was pleasantly surprised with how good the catering actually is!! Rooms were clean, and staff were so helpful during my stay! Literally felt like I was living "The Suite Life of Christina" here during my time, minus the free amenities.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Orlando close to Disney parks and jam packed with all the amenities needed for a family friendly get away. We came to Orlando in the middle of June 2024 and the resort was teeming with guests young and old. Our check in took a while so that was a little irritating and the parking is a little pricey ($50 a day to valet, or $30 a day for self parking which is a bit inconvenient, but other than that the resort was excellent. Great pools, fantastic fitness center, beautiful rooms, great choices of restaurants within the property, and close to Disney Springs and parks. We stayed in the East Tower here and I recommend it as the views are great and the elevator is quick and uses the glass elevator. My son said he felt like we were in Charlie's Great Glass Elevator. Lastly they have a nightly laser show at 9. We missed it the first night due to a late dinner but plan to see it tonight! Overall, the resort gets a 4.2 stars from me but we are enjoying our stay here so much I am rounding it up to a 5! Thank you Marriott.

Actually,I would just like to make a shout out to the security team here at the World Marriott. It was really early morning and my husband had a medical emergency that I needed help with him to transport him to my truck. I did not require an ambulance, but I needed to assist him. Mike, Kip and Eli were fantastic. They assisted me and were all so kind and helpful through my whole experience. Thank you so much. Not often do Security get recognized, but I wanted to stress and appraise them on a fantastic job!! We do travel quite often, as my husband is a top Ambassador member of the Marriott, so we have been to several properties all over the world. Our check in wasn't a pleasant experience. The attendant was not very personable, just found her cold. I do recommend this hotel, and I've been many times, but wish that the staff could be a little more polite and actually act like they love the job rather than chatting it up with other employees as you're trying to communicate with them to check in. Very unprofessional. *** only gave 5 star for Security!!*** Front staff 3! Hotel is beautiful 5!

A couple other reviews said this is just a Marriott which, in essence, is pretty accurate. However, I feel it really captures a lot of the Marriott experience which, for most travelers, is an upscale offering. It's an older property that is pretty well remodeled. It has great facilities on premises and is extremely close to Disney and other attractions as well as food, drink, and entertainment options. It has an expansive pool area that has been pretty nicely updated to feel very close to what anyone expects from a modern resort. The food and entertainment options for the kids are also numerous. As someone who has been a 20+ year Marriott fan and who has lately been very disappointed by their offerings, I'm happy to say this place is treating us well during our stay so far. The staff has been a real standout feature. I've had a lot of bad experiences the past few years with weak staff but this place is full of people who really are doing a great job and they alone take the whole experience up a notch. The rooms are remodeled and feel up to date, most having big balconies and pretty good views of the surrounding attractions. Prices are about $2 more than the Marriott premium you pay at most places but I feel that's in line with the local price premium you already pay this close to Disney so it doesn't feel exorbitant. There are certainly more expensive places nearby. Drinks feel a little pricey though so you may want to consider that in your planning for pool days. All in all this is a strong recommend from me. I don't know if we'll be back only because we don't come here that often but if we have the chance, I won't pass up staying here again.

The hotel room was not very clean, and maid service was inconsistent. The air conditioning was not working for half of my stay, and it took 3 calls to get someone to come and fix it. Hotel staff kept telling me I wasn't operating the AC correctly. The room was overly hot and humid, so I did not sleep the first night. Finally, my flight into Orlando was canceled, which delayed my arrival by a day. I called the hotel immediately to modify my reservation, which they did and told me it was not a problem. They then turned around and charged me nearly $300 for the delay. I have been on the phone and emailed multiple times, but getting a hold of a human was impossible and they decided not to refund that charge. I will never stay in another Marriott again.

Meh. This place was not equipped to handle the crowds on the 4th of July. I stupidly assumed they would have some kind of adults only area here- they do not. Every ounce of every crevice was filled with kids. The place is very difficult to navigate- all 10 people that joined me for dinner (they are local to Orlando) were confused on parking and how to get to Mikado. The check in line for bonvoy was about 60 people deep at noon time on the 4th so i opted for online checkin- except the mobile key didn't work. So I sat in the 60 people deep line until I got a hard copy room key. No recognition anywhere at front desk or beyond for being platinum (5 more stays until titanium and I should hit that at the end of this month). Breakfast offered is continental- no buffet and no lounge access was offered for platinum guests. Once I got into my room, the room was nice. I freshened up and went out to the pool. There are no rules posted, but you cannot bring any outside food or drink poolside and they will confiscate it from you. The lazy river was filled with kids swimming underneath and around you so it was very difficult to not bump into them or enjoy it. I'm not sure why it was allowed to be in there without a tube? Absolutely no chairs available outside. I wish they had a little bit better crowd control- if a towel is left unattended for greater than 2 hours they should be removed so everyone can enjoy the pool area. There was no wait staff on the other side of the pool area near the lazy river, the chairs facing the lagoon or around the slides. You could only get service at the other pool. Mikado for dinner was good. The hostess was freaking out because we added (1) extra person to the reservation. Once the other side of the hibachi table got up 10 min after we sat down, no one sat there for the rest of the night- there was absolutely no need to freak out or panic. The food was standard fare hibachi- lobster and chicken were great but the noodles were pretty gross and tasteless for a +3 up charge. My fiance also got double veggies instead of rice and they charged an extra +8. The server did nothing except for refill waters and they added a 18% service charge to everyone's bill. We tipped our hibachi chef separately. Valet was $55 and self park is $35. Resort fee is another $55 I believe so basically I spent $110 on parking my car and not enjoying the pool or amenities. This place is huge and has really cool features but completely not equipped for the volume of people there.

This Marriott is huge! Has everything you need in it. Shopping, food, fun and bars. There's also microwaves on the first floor. Staff is great and everything is maintained well. Highly recommended!

I would never stay here if you are planning to go to the Disney parks or Disney springs. The bus drivers were so rude! You had to reserve spots on the bus but when we went to take the bus it was full and the driver never checked tickets so now we had to take an Uber to make our reservation. The busses also don't run frequently so not helpful if one is full. And the driver not only gave me attitude but others as well. The next day at the conference everyone was talking about their attitude. I stayed for a conference and this is hotel company paid for. Everything there was an up charge. They told us when we checked in that in order to use busses it would be an additional $47 a day. So I paid it since we didn't rent a car. Then my coworkers later checked in and they were told they didn't need to pay it for the busses. I didn't want the water park or other resort fees as would be in a conference all day. Conference areas were nice and lobby was good. Restaurant food was good but overpriced. Pool so many chairs were reserved and you had to pay extra for and no one sat at them. One coworker had bugs in her room. The room only had a shower which not so convenient with small kids. The tv in the entire hotel stopped working as well. The check out process took an hour and they charged some rooms for things they didn't use. I would not stay here again especially if planning to go to the parks!

I attended an International Conference here with thousands of people from all over the world, the location is big and beautiful, the conference rooms were spacious and accommodating, there's Starbucks, and restaurants and other places available for food and beverages, I did not get to explore too much because a lot of my time was spent in the conference rooms. My only issue with my visit was the Wi-Fi connection. There was no signal at all even when connected to the conference Wi-Fi so when needed to go live was unable to do so. Other than that the purpose of my visit was an overall good experience.

It rained and everything stopped, especially many of the workers. They started "hanging" out and chit chatting. Many of us, who struggle to pay the entrance fees, tried maximizing our time after the rain stopped, but it became chaotic with many rides closed due to "inclement weather." This place is so expensive and catered to consumerism that I will not be returning. I'm in my 50s and don't need to get tired, frustrated, and regretful coming to such an expensive "fun" place meant for the young! For those lucky enough to withstand the crowds, long lines, heat, humidity and rain may fair better than we. You go!

This place is huge with a lot of amenities. The pool was fabulous and even at oak times felt like you weren't pulled on to of others. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The shuttle service to the Disney parks was great - just make sure to pay attention to where you're getting dropped off or picked up! The room was spacious and comfortable. Even with regular hotel traffic plus a large education convention it wasn't overly loud, crowded, or chaotic.

I wish that I could give a higher rating, but that simply does not mirror my experience. I visited this hotel during August 2023 for business and problems started as soon as I arrived. We booked a room with two queen beds, however that was not what we were provided. Instead, we ended up with 1 king bed and a cot, basically a 4 inch thick mattress on a metal plate. After two days, we were able to switch rooms but had to give up our panoramic view and patio. On that evening, we were locked out of our room with not even a phone call to explain. After two hours at the front desk, new room keys were issued and we thought everything was set. The clerk that checked us is was a new hire and didn't process the initial payments correctly. Less than 24 hours, we were locked out again. This time we had to pay an extra $200 to get new keys and were told that the $150 per person (not per room) would be required in order to prevent a reoccurrence. Needless to say, the world's largest Marriott has some of the worst customer service and I'm so glad I became a Hilton Honors member in 2020. This was ridiculous.

Came here for a week long conference and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Upon arrival, the exterior and lobby was clean, check in was a breeze with many people to help. Had a room that was in a good location in proximity to the main lobby area, I didn't have to hike down a long corridor. Room was cleaned nicely each day and I was restocked on towels, and the bed was sharply made. My favorite was the market cafe on the lower level. Food was actually affordable and they had lots of options when you just want to do a grab and go ranging from lots of snacks, drinks, salads, sandwiches and hot food like sandwiches and pizzas. Super close proximity to the convention center and easy to navigate.

We stayed over the weekend. A lot of kids so we were hoping that our kids would also find this hotel inviting and fun. That was not the case. The lazy river was not at all what we expected. It was very small and extremely crowded with people and children and it's not a good experience. The pool is quite large the area hard to find seating you have to pay $50 for rental the front area and $400 for the cabanas rental. To me that's a lot money even if you do plan to spend the whole day at the pool. The water slides wasn't our thing, but our daughter burnt her feet and she made the comment that multiple people had to complain that the floor was burning their feet before they decided to wet the pavement, so it wouldn't be as excruciating. To which she did end up getting blisters gross I know. The self parking versus valet parking, I mean, obviously valet cost more so you would think I can self park but the parking garage is completely on the other side of the hotel so you have to walk 600 steps or you can take a shuttle and even that was not a really good experience, especially if you've gone to Disney or you've been on any of the Disney transportation. Which I'm not advocating Disney's transportation it has its own flaws and shortcomings, but being that if you're new to the hotel and your first experiences, pressing a call button and being told that you're gonna have to wait five minutes or more because the driver was already headed towards the hotel makes you feel, less than a priority, I would really choose a process improvement where you automate or either teach your driver the importance of a first impression. The two queens rooms do not have a door between the sink and window wash area. There's a sliding door for the smallest part of the room your bathroom, the shower and the toilet however, not enough privacy for the kids and us you'd have to go into the smaller section to change clothes.

Popular conference hotel I've been to several conferences at this hotel over the years. This is my first time back since 2019 and I appreciate the room and pool upgrades. I always thought this hotel has one of the best family friendly pool set-ups with lots and chairs and a laser show. Now, a water slide has been added, which is so cool. Check in was quick despite the amount of people in line. Status is recognized even during conferences which is nice because many people in attendance have status. Rooms were pretty clean but I did find hair in the bathroom. Employees are very nice and helpful and the find a way to keep the valet / pickup area moving. Overall, this is an excellent choice with close proximity to Disney parks.

Stayed here for a larger conference for 3 nights. It is a massive property, so be ready to walk! The reason I gave it 3 stars is 1) when I tried to use my shower the first day brown water came out at first, though eventually became clear 2) the food during the conference was some of the worst I've had. In fact, the second night I was up with food poisoning the whole time, so pretty terrible. I also ordered food from the lounge and the italian restaurant, both of which were not very good and ridiculously overpriced for what they severed.

I keep coming back to this location since 1988. It's my mistake. I know. I am happy to find consistency in mediocrity though. Front desk night manager, called himself Front Desk Manager, should have been maybe a trainee of sorts for the Front Desk Supervisor's position. I won't say he was worthless but.. he was kinda not worth much, similarly like the 1st person that attempted to check us in. "I don't see you in our system"... Trust me, I'm there, it's my mistake that I booked it!! Travis in security is the standout in this visit. Very calming soul with common sense, something missing in the speedy Valet department. Speedy with others people's cars and speedy with their mouths. They surrounded my car when I refused to give them the key . The told me they were going to tow it and then tried to intimidate me by standing around it. I wouldn't trust this outside Valet parking company with my vehicle especially reading the reviews here about them. I took a picture of the Valet guy that almost hit my car after he ran the stop sign. The manager told me "Hey.. you can't take a picture of him"! Ooops, I did.. call the police...because i took a picture of the food choices in the Market downstairs too! Is that illegal? They're probably not even bonded. Are they? The hotel operates with some amazing changes since my last visit and I am sure it will continue to grow and succeed till my next visit regardless of my dissatisfaction with some issues. Only real issue is the lack of front desk employee training, a "front desk manager" that needed training and an outside Valet company that operates without any checks and balances. Oh.. don't worry If I can save you from this beast.. find another location. Spend your money elsewhere. I will try next time too.

We stayed here for 3 nights while we were visiting Disney. Everyone was so friendly and lots of food options available. Our room was a standard room with 2 queen beds. I do wish there was a door to block off the vanity area. There is no way of getting ready in the morning without walking everyone up with the light, water running or blow dryer. The pool is great, the slides were fun, and the lazy river was my favorite. I had sushi in the lobby lounge and it really wasn't that great. The rolls are reasonably small and the fish didn't seem fresh. The table next to us wasn't too happy with the sushi either and said it was average. I got an espresso martini and they do not have real espresso and just an liquor of it. We had dinner another night at High Velocity and my daughter left some items at the table. We returned 5 minutes later and they had put them in a box. Frank was so kind and made sure to get them for us. They also have a small but nice arcade that the kids played in for about an hour. I think we spent about $80 in the hour for 2 kids. We sat outside and enjoyed our drinks we brought from our room fridge. We had lunch at the Falls Bar and they add gratuity to the bills so pay attention not to pay it twice. We really enjoy this place and will return for another vacation.

Had a great experience with this hotel. I was there for 3 nights for work. The room was clean, room service was responsive, although it was difficult to use their phone when they ask you to enter your mobile, since some of the keys are not functioning. The lobby was beautiful and the staff were polite. Although, i wasn't given a bracelet for pool access, which proved inconvenient as i didn't know i had to get one til i was already by the pool. I got to try their lazy river and one of the slides, which were both fun. The pools were clean and accessible. One highlight for me is their central pantry. The chicken quesadilla and baked mac were both SO good!

Wonderful resort/spa in Kissimmee FL minutes from Disneyworld resort. We were amazed at this immense resort. We were immediately greeted by our valet crew and they quickly took over, unloading our car, providing our claim ticket and escorting us inside. We were directed to the check in counter to get our room. After check in we were directed back to valet where we were met by a kind and informative gentleman who had our bags and walked us to the elevator describing all the facilities as we walked. He unpacked our bags when we got to the room and offered a few extra tips about the resort. Every time we saw him he warmly acknowledged us. We were there five days and were treated warmly and professionally throughout the hotel area. The food is fabulous. The convention facilities superb. The bars and bartenders fast and efficient. The pool area provided lots of lounging areas, recreational areas, food and drink service and a light show with music every evening. There is also a free shuttle service to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. It is a great place and I highly recommend it.

It was a beautiful place. And the people there were great. BUT, early in our stay my 5 year old daughter was showing her grandmother how neatly she put away her clothes by opening the drawers on the dresser. She wasn't climbing on it or using it in ANY incorrect way. The entire dresser tipped forward pinning her under the dresser and the large sheet of glass that was on top of it. Fortunately, my daughter is ok. My Mother in Law who witnessed it and was not strong enough to lift the dresser off of her is still traumatized by the event. We had booked 2 rooms for our stay and I was hoping for them to compensate me for one of the 2 rooms and give me some bonvoy points so we could make different memories for our kids at another place. No such luck. I was offered the equivalent of a few hundred dollars in points. I've written the hotel several times, as well as hotel leadership, and been told to deal with "claims" and the claims people just want me to take the points and sign the waiver. It's sad because what was supposed to be a trip of a lifetime for my family is scarred by this event and I am angry with Marriott. They don't care about our experience. I had also asked for some reassurance that they would check the other rooms to make sure the other dressers were affixed to the walls properly and I haven't heard about that either. Ultimately, I'll just post this, with the picture where you can see THE HARDWARE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE USED TO MAKE THE DRESSER SAFE affixed to the back of it with tape, and hope that maybe someone won't stay there because if something does go wrong, they won't stand by their product and make things right.

I came here for a cheer competition in May 2024. This place is way too chaotic for a large scale event. There was no access the appropriate WiFi in the building. The parking at the facility was limited and there was only ONE shuttle to and from the off site facility parking lot, which accounted for 45-60min wait times to get into the building. One shuttle for an event with over 20,000 people? That's ridiculous Please Take your events somewhere else! This is NOT the spot.

The Orlando World Center is a huge hotel with East and West buildings. There is a large pool between the two. My room was clean and comfortable and I was happy my digital key worked during the entire stay. For a resort this large it does not offer too much. Service was ok in a Marriott way.

Check in/ Out: Well staffed, super quick and easy. Well appointed lobby. Room: Very clean, daily cleaning - unless your privacy sign is displayed then privacy request is honored which was nice. Depending on your room, you can view laser light show, Epcot and or Disney fireworks. Resort: Huge - Absolutely beautiful! The pools, slides and lazy river were wonderful. Service attendants came by often for drink and food orders. Outdoor water and restrooms clean and well maintained. The resort pool area is very stunning after dark! It is a very large resort with many areas to relax. Different Elevators for different floors. Cabanas: Great Call! TV and ceiling fan along with a fridge, loveseat, chair, table, safe, and two reclining lounge chairs. Drink and food service attendants came by regularly which was nice. Food: Breakfast buffet has everything, including made to order pancakes with blueberries, chocolate chips etc. Hibachi restaurant was very good. The pantry on level 1 had typical grab and go items such as water, ice cream, chips etc. There are also microwaves on the first floor, which is convenient for leftovers since there is a fridge in your room. Amenities: Daily activities for kids - they even held an alligator! Ping pong, huge outdoor connect four, chess, checkers and nice artificial turf area. Only Con: 1st few days use of umbrellas were prohibited - although mild wind. Maybe the complaints finally reversed this decision....

Very busy throughout the day. However service with a smile. Looking forward to next visit. My suite was amazing views of the entire resort plus a double balcony. Housekeeping was top notch. Definitely wear comfortable shoes if you have a conference. You will definitely get your steps in.

I came here for Holiday Matsuri two weeks ago. The person I was rooming with had already checked in so I just met up with her for the keys. The parking garage is far away and you have to take a shuttle too and from. Not ideal since you can't bring a luggage cart there. The rooms are nice but I couldn't get the AC to make the fan run on auto all night like I normally do when I stay in a hotel. I like the white noise to block out sounds. I ate at Mikado my first night. They only have hibachi tables, nothing separate for sushi. I always feel awkward when placed at a table with people I don't know and I'm only eating sushi. The bed was comfortable. The TV was nice and large. I watched YouTube on there at some point but didn't the rest of the time watching DC and marvel movies on FX. The convention area is massive and it's definitely easy to get lost down there. Wednesday morning I made sure to go at open for their Starbucks since I heard it gets busy for the convention. I became sick Thursday morning so I spent most of the time in my room Thursday and half of Friday. I got some bananas from friends who went to their pantry for me. Friday I went to the lobby bar and managed some of their rice. It already had vinegar in it, so it was a bit off tasting, but I needed food after being sick. I asked two different housekeeping people to clean the toilet and they did not. So obviously they're useless at their jobs. The shower was nice though. Felt a bit more normal when I showered Friday. I did have to call security two nights in a row because people were screaming and blasting music at all hours in the middle of the night. Saturday morning I managed to go to get breakfast at one of their smaller restaurants. I had the morning cartoons. Rice crispies with almond milk and slices of banana. It was nice to be able to eat again. The worst part was leaving at check out. Elevators took forever and were super crowded. The bell hops were great though. They pushed through it really well. Probably won't be back since the convention is going to the OCCC

Had a great experience here for a company offsite meeting. They facilitated our group AMAZINGLY and we were close to 2,000 people. There must have been an army of smiling happy faces at every turn. Rooms are nice, grounds are impeccable, service and offerings seem priced fair. Can't wait to come back - and I'm a Bonvoy lifetime titanium.

I called their spa. I am pleasantly surprised by the phone conversation I had this morning with the manager of the spa, and Peter, at the front desk. They were extremely nice gentleman that helped me look up information. They were very pleasant in their tone and manner of speaking. I have not use our facility so I cannot comment on that. I know that they don't have all the qualifications of a five star but I'm giving them four-star because they were that nice and pleasant on the phone. That's a rarity in this day and age.

They hit you with hidden fees, like a $105 "resort fee" that I wasn't aware of when I booked and didn't realize existed until my credit card statement came.

Deceptive restaurant prices. One person and you add an 18% gratuity THEN ask for a another one. Pay your people decently instead of asking for a 36% tip on top of extremely high prices. Ridiculous. And a tip in the "store" when prices are off the charts? Ridiculous Pay employees fairly and stop this horrific tipping for doing the bare minimum job trend.

Came for a dental convention that took up 1800 of the 2000 rooms! It's a large convention center that has recently renovated the pool area giving it a resort feel on the outside. Rooms are large and clean but walls are thin making it difficult to sleep at night with the roar of noise from the lobby at night. I could also clearly hear conversations as people walked past my door. 3 pool areas mostly for kids along with a miniature golf area; however, there's only one Jacuzzi that maxes out after 10 people?!

Arrival and checkin experience was ok. Front desk clerk noted a request had been made for an upgrade for our 12th anniversary which she said she could do on day two. Honestly, you could tell she was genuine in trying, acknowledged Titanium status and proceeded to explain breakfast for 4 is included due to status and to come down the next morning for the upgrade to the new room. Parking for valet is $50 and self parking on the other side of the resort is $30. We said let's give self parking a shot since we weren't planning on doing the typical valet service of going in and out. Ordered room service the first night. While the food was ok, 2 of the 4 orders were wrong. From a delivery standpoint, the delivery was fast and efficient, but I wasn't presented with a bill to sign, just that it had been posted to my room to include the $5 delivery fee and the gratuity. Again, I'm neutral on this. Sometimes speed wins over accuracy. Day 2 Came down for breakfast. Server was pleasant and stayed on top of service. The presentation at the Buffett was nicely stocked, with some decent offerings. Brought me the bill as we paid for four upgrades to a full buffet for an extra $10 per person. The upgrade fee was charged for 2 people but a separate charge for $64 per person was added, which I questioned. They sent over a supervisor, a manager and ultimately the front office manager who all denied that I should get 4 breakfasts (2 per room) as that is not how the rules are written, regardless of what the checkin clerk said. I advised them to play back the cameras and their only response was she must have made a mistake. The charge remains as you were simply wrong. No apology of any kind. They were annoyed that I questioned their practice. Day 3. We chose not to even bother with breakfast. Titanium benefits or not, let the hotel win this one. I don't want to get upset again. Arranged for transportation to the park the day before to occur at 815 am. Came down at 8 am, asked the bell staff where to wait for the bus and they indicated right where you are in front of the hotel. At 817 am, a different staff member tells us that we are waiting in the wrong spot and that due to construction, we have to walk to the convention center where we saw the bus leaving. When approaching the front desk, couldn't get him to allow me to speak with a manager. Requested a Director of Operations to which he responded, yes we have one of those but I don't know their name, so can't help you. (Long sigh). The bus left us to which he replied, sorry not much I can do about that. No empathy or an ounce of caring. Returned at 545 pm, room wasn't cleaned because a big group came in and we just didn't have enough staff. Housekeeping stated we will bring what you need. Never showed up but at 8 pm, went down to the desk where the nicest lady was working. She had a staff pro name tag and said they were contracted to clean the public areas but she would try to find me coffee and cups which she did. Sweet as could be and deserving of one of the stars on this review. Day 4. The adult kids went to breakfast and no problems. Due to hurricane, stayed in but the girls went to the spa. They seemed to have enjoyed themselves and were happy with the manicures and pedicures and the overall service received from Dee and the spa desk person whose name is Peter. Yay a bright spot!! Ran out for a late lunch and returned at 6 pm to yet a dirty room once again. Went down to the front desk where I received an apology that the hotel took a large group and didn't have enough staff to clean all the rooms so if you weren't part of the group, you didn't receive service. But we can bring you towels and coffee and it will be just like receiving service. Well not exactly, but as you can see there is a void in leadership and training at this hotel. It screams of a need for training, specifically anticipating needs and learning to communicate with guests. Other guests that were waiting in line or on the elevators all had some issue from dirty rooms, to bring charged the wrong rate as part of the transferred group, or dare I say the room with a dead bug. The lady thought it was a bed bug but it looked like a water cockroach . Still disgusting. Day 5 An ounce of redemption. Brandon who is a guest service coordinator arranged for a welcome amenity of wine and goodies for our anniversary. Although it arrived on the last night, the truth is he went out of his way to accommodate us. I can only imagine that the room service team somehow misplaced the order. Regardless, well done Brandon! We are moving to another hotel for the next 3 days as I just can't take it anymore. Service is horrible, empathy is non existent, leadership at all levels must be on vacation, and the staff are hot and miss. I really expected so much more from this location. To say this experience was painful would be kind. I'd rather poke myself in the eyes and put lemon juice in an open cut.
