Ormoc City Superdome

Nice clean entry at the port. Had to pay an extra 500 piso at Cebu Pier on account of scalper price during election. So 1700 total. Not too bad, considering the economy stamp was already paid on there. Price displayed was 1100+100. That scalper should have paid the nice guy who looks like my nephew something for standing with me. So I give him a portable USB fan, since he is so sweaty in this heat. Missing the cool weather of Tabuan, inland bohol. Stay in soul centre there. So nice and friendly. Helpful and kind. Coming out of the port was like a relapse of manila. Tuk2 driver is ripping me off. 150 for a ride to Robinson to reach the bus which will take me to Biliran? Well.... The federal regulations listing form displayed in the tuk2 do not exceed 12 piso. So I give him a hundred for the "special" treatment. Okay. In Mexico I call it gringo tax. So I can make some review now. Then I go in the terminal. Naval bus. Just get off in bilaran rotunda and transfer over if you want to go east from the Biliran bridge. Quite authentic. Chicken mami in that bus terminal with such a spice. Just 55p in the way. One nice lady outside the pier was 25 for 500 ml water. Nice cold and refreshing. Travel size 1.5L next door for 30! That comes with me in the way. Stay hydrated. Have some chili, ginger, garlic, salt. I take chicharron from that first terminal. I felt compelled to purchase his snacks he carried all over while helping me to find Robinson terminal. 40 p. Then that naval money taker wants 220p for one seat. I have carry on Case, and large case. So extra seat as well? Another 220. Feels like I got ripped off since that seat got sold three more times and then I sit in the way for my premium ticket price. I'm in the way! Either the aircon for this public van is working good, or we are going up the elevation. Nice day. Glad it just rain this morning only. To clean the way for a good travel. Onwards to the hotpsprings of east Biliran island. Maybe swing by Bunga for a little chicken mami again. So tasty. Yomm

It can accommodate thousands of seats there, the chairs are quite old but still works fine. There are male and female comfort areas in each corner of the ground floor building and is clean.

A wonderful place for social and cultural events including gatherings, conferences, concerts, competitions in basketball and volleyball, and other related events. It also has free wifi!

Our graduation was held here!

Enough space for a bigger event. It can be a venue for sports activity. There is enough ventilation in the area and Comfort rooms are clean.

It is where the 'big' close door events in Ormoc are usually held. Be it school graduation celebrations, or fashion shows, or concerts of famous celebreties or bands, or PBA or local basketball games or company christmas celebrations, evangelical events, or anything under the sun - Ormoc Superdome is the place. Aside from its big space which can accommodate thousands, the place is fully airconditioned, proximate to the Ormoc Police Prescint 1 hence secure from the yroublemakers, and the rent is relatively affordable.

The largest dome I have ever seen. It is very imposing. You can't miss spotting it from the port. During my visit here sadly there are no events as of the moment, so I wasn't able to get inside. I just ate here since there are some street food vendors nearby.

I have always loved this place. Really good food and ambience.
