The hotel is beautiful, the staff super attentive and friendly, especially Victor. He was great! Gave us a map, told us where to go and got us a taxi. All accommodations were taken care of and everything is very upscale at a decent price. 5 out of 5 stars.

Every aspect of Hotel Oro Verde was exquisite including the modern room decor, delicious restaurants & bar. Due to personal circumstances, my trip was expected to be stressful but thanks to staying at Oro Verde, I was able to unwind. The kind, genuine and efficient assistance received by Ana Paula and Maria Alejandra are a true reflection of the standards of excellence Oro Verde upholds. I look forward to staying there next year when I return and will be highly recommending this hotel to colleagues and family.

What a wonderful place for our last stop on our tour of Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands! Bathroom was spacious, fluffy towels. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast buffet spectacular. Pool and Spa facilities absolutely appreciated after trekking the Galapagos.

The staff was beyond kind and the room was precious. It had everything we needed. Buffet breakfast offered several options including the normal things and Ecuadorian food as well. It also has a pool where you can relax from the sunny days. Would definitely consider staying here another time

The hotel is decent. The beds are comfy. My husband thinks too soft but I find comfy. We love the walk in rainfall shower. Breakfast is delicious. Best selection of fresh fruit ever. The staff is decent and mostly helpful. If there is someone who doesn’t speak English, they find someone to assist. The location is VERY loud and we didn’t expect that. It was hard to get a sound sleep. We have never stayed at a hotel with armed guards at our hotel front door before so that was an experience but they were cordial and polite. I wouldn’t pick this location again due to noise and congestion but overall it was an okay experience . We were placed here by a tour group for five nights

Hotel Oro Verde is a beautiful and welcoming place, with very reasonable prices for the quality of service it offers. The facilities are pleasant, and the overall atmosphere is charming. The restaurant is nice, featuring a varied and high-quality buffet. The staff at the restaurant were very attentive and kind. Special mention goes to David, the chef in charge of the omelette station—he was friendly and truly skilled at what he does. At the front desk, the receptionist was very polite and helpful. We requested a room change because we needed two separate beds, and she kindly accommodated our request, as the first room had a king-size bed. The rooms have hot water in the shower, good amenities, and are generally comfortable. The only issue we encountered was with the air conditioning: the room was too cold, and the control panel wasn’t working. Although we called maintenance, no one ever came. We ended up turning off the air conditioner, which wasn’t a major problem. Overall, we had a very good experience at Hotel Oro Verde. We recommend it for its service, comfort, and overall quality.

Checked into hotel, pre-booked via tour company. Delux Room on my booking. Hotel had allocated a Std Room. All others in the party got what they paid for: Delux. When asked at reception for correct category; basically No, we are not going to change your room.|Room facilities were less than perfect....|Also, whilst relaxing in reception, awaiting shuttle to airport, was politely interrupted to be told; No sleeping in Reception Policy...... really !!||One bad experience of what should have been a great stay. Very disappointing.

We want to especially shout out Juan who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. He made sure that our needs were met, and that says a lot about the professionalism provided by the hotel. The room was spotless and elegantly furnished, with cozy bedding and all the modern amenities we needed. The hotel’s location is ideal: right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of shops, cafés, and landmarks, and only minutes from the airport. We felt safe throughout our visit and appreciated the free shuttle service. Bonus points for the luxurious spa and pool area, which gave us a much-needed recharge after a long flight. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base in Guayaquil. Whether you're in Guayaquil for a business trip, a romantic getaway, or a stopover before the Galápagos Islands, Oro Verde is a five-star experience all the way. It is a home away from home!
