Orpheum Theatre

Don't be fooled by the front of the building, this venue is huge inside. Really cool architecture too. I'd recommend seats closer to the front of the balcony or on the main level. The play I saw was phenomenal! They also have snacks and beverages available for sale. There is a parking garage across the street that is affordable and secure making it easy to get to the theater.

Love older theaters, but the tight seating isn't fun. It was my first time here and it seems you could get any seat and still enjoy yourself. Will try balcony next time. Biggest dislike was them holding everyone inside at the end of the show for several minutes before letting us out. Thank gawd my husband left seconds earlier.

Beautiful, clean, safe venue with lots of parking options around it. There isn't really a bad seat in the house. The only down side is their lack of bathrooms. During intermission the lines went out the door & down the staircase to other floors. You better go before you go

Great programming there and a beautiful venue. Long bathroom lines are expected in an old building like that, but there is a coordinator there to get it moving as quickly as humanly possible. Multiple paid parking options nearby. During my last attendancene of the ushers was constantly pacing, bobbing, and blocking the view, which was very distracting.

We went to the Orpheum Theater to see a stand up comedy show and had a great experience overall. The venue is large with a lot of character, and the sound and view from the seats were good. There are multiple concession stands on different floors, which makes it easy to grab drinks or snacks. Bathrooms are on each floor, but avoid the main floor bathrooms since the lines get very long. Use the ones on the other levels instead. One tip is to skip the prepaid parking. The QR code for our prepaid pass did not scan properly, and it was actually cheaper to just pay for parking the day of the show. Overall, the Orpheum is a beautiful theater with plenty of amenities. Keeping these tips in mind will make your visit smoother.

Three of us visited the Orpheum for a Jimmy Carr show. We walked up to the entrance and noticed the line was more than a block long. Someone told us to check for another line running the opposite way, which we did. It saved us 20 minutes or so in line. We used the time savings to hit the small bar inside. The lady was mixing six different drinks in order to keep the line moving quickly. In the time it took us to pay she had three drinks made and we went upstairs to our seats. The view was excellent and the audio was very clear. The seats themselves were comfortable, but the legroom was very small... The Orpheum itself was beautiful! The staff was pleasant and we'll definitely visit again in the future. Excellent experience!

Opening night of Les Miserables was great. Fascinating how they change sets. Beautiful architecture in the Orpheum itself. Building is older, so the chairs are quite narrow. They offer cushions for rent, but the seat was fine aside from cramped by the narrow width. We were very back row, just left of center and this was our view.

If you have long legs....do NOT sit in the front row of the balcony. Your Knees will literally be touching the ledge in front of you , throughout the entire performance. The theater is old and nostalgic. Chicago was done beautifully!!!!
