Orquídea Café

It looks cute but the place is filled with people working on their laptops. Even on the big 6 people tables there were people by themselves on laptop. It would suit the cafe to put "no laptop" signs in the weekend and/or on the big tables. My and my family had to scrap tables together because the big ones were all taken by 1 person. When we were there, we got angry looks from the people on tables. The cafe should do something to improve its atmosphere.

Such a great quality coffee, good prices and amazing service. The server was super nice and lovely. The ambiance was so chilling and relaxing. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Friendly but very slow service and an underwhelming chai latte. Upon arriving, I was informed there were issues with their coffee maker, and my order would take about 10 minutes. I agreed to wait and had a seat. The barista was friendly but very distracted, needing to confirm my order twice. Unfortunately, it took closer to 25 minutes for my chai to arrive, and the wait simply wasn’t worth it. The chai latte was watered down, and the milk they used didn’t complement the drink well. I paid $65 for the chai, plus an extra $13 for the alternative milk, which is average for the area. The cafe’s location on Calle Amsterdam is prime, and the outdoor seating was calm and charming. While the friendly staff and lovely setting were positives, the overall experience fell short due to the slow service and the disappointing chai.

I don't throw bad reviews around but this one comes out itself. Came here based on the good reviews, so I expected something really nice. The service was so slow, I ordered coffee and avocado toast. It was hard to find the avocado there, the whole thing was so dry and just stuffed with a chunk of spinach that were not even fresh. The waiter brought my coffee in like 15 mins and I was the only one they were serving at the time. The coffee was not too good, oddly sweet and with some weird flavour. Very disappointing.

Good vibes, sweet staff, and great overnight oats! I got a flat white and overnight oats with berries. I will definitely be coming back. Love that they don't use added sugar and use almond flour in their pastries - lots of healthy options. Only regret is not tipping more :)

I cannot have gluten or sugar, so this place was an amazing find! Everyone is so kind and the space is beautiful. Their blueberry scones are out of this world! Highly recommend.

A lovely gluten-free cafe. My blueberry scone was tender, delicious and oh-so-satisfying. Friendly service and seating.

It took a while for my coffee to come, but it was the best filter coffee I had while in Mexico for two weeks. While I waited I enjoyed the beautiful outdoor seating and folks running/walking by with their dogs.
