Orido di Bellano may be a short walk, but it’s absolutely worth visiting. You don’t have to just rush through it — it’s one of those places where you can simply stop, take a breath, and really look. The waterfalls, the cliffs, the light — it’s all so beautiful and powerful when you give yourself the time to take it in.
We noticed that many people just walk through quickly, take a photo or two, and move on. But honestly, it’s worth slowing down — standing still and really absorbing the view makes all the difference.
It felt like a bit of a hidden gem. We got there using local public transport, which also gave us a discount on the entrance fee. It wasn’t crowded at all, and the whole experience felt calm and memorable — actually one of our favorite, more peaceful memories from Lago di Como.
Bellano itself was also super charming — much quieter than some of the more famous towns in the area, and honestly, I enjoyed it more for exactly that reason.
