This was worth the quick trip. Hope on the train heading north and it’s the next stop. It’s a 10 mins walk from the train station and just a really cool experience. You’ll see several waterfalls and can probably get a really good view from the top. It was rainy and foggy when we went so you couldn’t see out too far. Show them your train ticket and get a euro off of the ticket price. It was 5 euros per person with get train ticket.

Lovely little walk. Was really looking forward to visiting here and didn't know at all what to expect. Kind of built out up a little before going so was slightly underwhelmed - so here's the low down: First, we went in November - weather still good and sun out, but not 100% clear, and that was a perfect day I think. Parking at this time of year isn't a problem, where the entrance is to the upper access - the small road leading up to the beginning is free parking and enough room for maybe 20 cars, there seemed to be always 1 or 2 spaces available - otherwise its one of the car parks below the site that you'll need. €6 per person entry - and you'll walk around the canyon on a short trail along the walkway railings - maybe 10mins in total. So 5-6 mins each side of the loop. To think of it as a canyon is misleading, and the photos make it look much bigger. This is more like a mini canyon in someone's large garden just to manage your expectations. That said, it's a lovely walk and very beautiful to see - having seen it, I wouldn't have minded if I missed it - but I'm not advising anyone to miss it out, if it's part of your plans. If you have the time, you should go - if you're making a special effort or maybe are pressed for time, you could skip this.

An amazing experience inside a gorge. It is not frequented by a lot of tourist, so you can enjoy the sound of waterfalls deep inside without any rush. The small town of Bellano is an amazing place to sit for a coffee after the walk inside the gorge.

Short but beautiful waterfall trail. The trail tales about 10 minutes to walk fully. Lots of steps over rushing water from the falls. Some small corners around rock face but nothing too narrow. There's an uphill walk to the entry and after the trail is completed it is a long set of cobble stone steps back down to the entry.

Highlight of my Lake Como trip! It’s not a huge hike by any means, but very tranquil place especially when I went before closing. Just make sure to take your time and dilly dally to really enjoy it. They also only charged me the locals entry price🙏 Some phenomenal views of Bellano on the way out as well.

Very impressive, maybe a little too short for 6€. We did it in 10-15 min. It would be nice to have some additional information on the spot (history, where the water comes from, what it’s used for etc) Tip: Take your time on the first part as it’s the most impressive.

It's a unique place, one of the most interesting and unexpected places that lake Como offers to the tourists. Really worth buying tickets and visiting , you'll remember for the rest of your life. We went to Bellano by train from Varenna (you may also take the bus, there is only one station between them), from the train station it is a short walk to Orrido. Now, because winter holidays are coming, all the pedestrian walkways from the little canion are decorated with lights, and Christmas songs can be heard from the speakers mounted through the walking. I'm so glad I was here !

A beautiful walk listening to a natural spring waterfall running through the Bellano mountain. There are stairways that take you up the mountain once you leave the waterfall area and you get an amazing view of Lago di Como.
