The place is peaceful and lovely. The sisters are very friendly, patient, helpful. The rooms are large, well air conditioned, and replenished with fresh towels daily. The city connections are great. The tram is only a few steps away. Sublime

Nice women's only hostel. Very spacious. Seemed to be very very quiet while I was there with not many people around at all. Room was very large, unfortunately I found it to be very chilly at night even with 2 blankets on bed. Beds and pillows weren't the greatest. Hostel was extremely clean with cleaning staff doing a very thorough job every day. Bathrooms and shower room well kept. Staff was extremely nice, but as I do not speak any Italian there seemed to be a bit of language barrier when I asked for some recommendations. That being said they always did their best to answer my questions. The location is excellent!

I stayed here twice. Once 10 years ago, and once 5 years ago. I wish I could go back, I think it closed down during covid. There was something special about this place, something magical about the building and courtyard, the apricots growing on the trees. It’s location on a quiet street in Trastevere, a feeling that stays with you forever.

I spent there 5 nights. It was peaceful. There is a heating system, showers and hot water. I see that the place ( esp toilets) could be more clean and it needs renovation. There are two rooms separated by a 3/4 wall so it was a bit noisy. The staff are nice and helpful. The guests ladies are very nice, and the place is very safe! It is a good place to stay if one is visiting Rome for a few days.

Was a beautiful place to stay in old Rome. They are a non profit organization that helps aspiring female artists and women in need (something to that extent). It is also a women's only hostel, sorry guys. I felt very safe here and It was very clean. Beautiful, delicious cafe with very authentic food in the center of the complex where the hostel is located. During our stay they had nightly performances that were amazing. There is a large garden to roam in, they will wash your clothes for a fee. It was great and two added bonuses were a pair of kitties I met named Stella and Nina that live in the complex. I did rated 5 stars but I have to be honest, the beds are not 5 star comfort and it was hot. But it's a hostel in old Roam, can't have it all. Also during the summer there are those loud performances in the courtyard so bring ear plugs!

Loved this hostel in Rome. Stayed 4 nights with my 13 year old daughter. We had a room with a double bed, high ceilings, fan, small table and chair. There are many washrooms and showers. There are linens on the bed and a towel was provided at check in. There was never a line up and they always seemed clean. There is a kitchen with fridges to store food, a stove top and a microwave. There is coffee available every morning (no breakfast but some cake/bread is available). The staff are friendly and helpful. The wifi didn’t work in our rooms but there are couches in the hallway where you can sit and connect. The hostel is within easy walking distance to all the major sites and so many fantastic restaurants. The area felt safe and we often were walking back in the dark. There seems to be a mix of young and more “seasoned” travellers. Highly recommend for female travellers.

To start, I just want to be clear that the location is wonderful. There's a market with restaurants, shops & street performers just five minutes away. Easily my favourite spot in Rome. It's a ~40 minute walk to the Colassium but a great trek, especially in the morning when there's less tourists about. Very close to the Vatican city and in general, a 15-30 minute walk away from anything you care to see. ||Bathrooms, spotless. Kitchen/common space was fantastic to have. Staff were incredibly nice.||The only reason I'd give here a 4/5 would be the beds. I shared a dorm room with 3 sets of bunk beds. I was on the top bunk and I am a very restless sleeper (lots of tossing) and those beds are not kind for that. The bunks move quiet easily, so if you're a light sleeper I'd suggest requesting a bottom bunk or a no bunk bed room. I felt bad for my bunk mate the whole time. ||But can't beat the price or location!

The hostel is inside the building of Casa de la Donna, the House of Women, in a second floor with elevator. Its windows look at an inner garden and there’s also a restaurant in the same building. It has a very relaxed and cozy vibe, the recepcionists are very helpful and tell you how to move around Rome. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortables. Bathrooms and showers are shared but very clean and somehow private. There’s a kitchen and dinning room where you can cook your meals and they provide coffee every morning. There are couches and chairs in the hall, so you can rest, relax or read (yes, they have books and magazines). They also have free WiFi. It’s located 10 minutes walking from the Vatican and the Castello San Angelo, a public bus stop to downtown and Termini train station is also within waking distance; tourist bus stop also at 10 minutes on foot. So, if you are a woman traveling alone o with female friends (or your mother, like me), this is the best place to stay while in Rome. Yes, I would go back anytime.
