We were here for the Wine Road barrel tasting weekend and they've put out their three best wines, Nebiolo, Montepulciano, and Sangiovese, for the tasting. Very friendly winemaker and staff. There's a mini Italian market inside and they were giving out samples of the panetonne and a spicy sausage pasta. There were tables outside in the back patio with a nice view of the vines. No outside food allowed.

Reserved a table here on a Monday afternoon with a group of four and had a great time. Tony was excellent providing us a history on the wines and where the wines are made in Italy. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience - Tony did such an amazing job with the tasting. we purchased several bottles and olive oil. Loved it there

We had the best time! Christina was so knowledgable and we tried many rare wines we had not heard of. Highly recommend on a trip to Healdsburg!

Great winery and loved learning about all the different wines. We also got a history lesson and a run down of local restaurants near our hotel. Perfect recommendations! Enjoyed our visit and will be sure to visit again!

Really enjoyed our training at Orsi with Dick the vintner. The property is very pretty and he opened all 13 of their varietals which was really generous since our friends have bought a large amount of wine from this vineyard. They have many Italian varietals that are not widely available in Sonoma County which was lovely and we liked the Primitivo, Sagrantino and Sangiovese especially. Thanks so much for the lovely tasting!

Google
A beautiful property with excellent wines. How exciting for Healdsburg to have an establishment experimenting with lesser-known indigenous Italian varietals. I appreciated their approach to making these wines to be paired with food (the Italian way) and enjoyed the lighter, lower alcohol, elegant touch to the winemaking style. It is a breath of fresh air to find a producer like this in California. In their beautiful tasting room, you will find a wide array of imported Italian goods from art, ceramics, candies, food, and ingredients. I enjoyed the display of the different regional flags from the various regions of Italy. Many people don't realize that Italy was only unified in 1861 and how unique the individual regions are. I see the effort made by the Orsi family to demonstrate this on their property. For the locals, beyond the wine, you find some of the best products from Italy. Grazie Mille.

Absolutely love this winery nestled in Healdburg! The wine is delicious and the customer service is friendly and not pushy. Definitely has a family fun feel to it and is a great place to take family when they come in from out of town!

Yelp
My BF and I enjoyed a wonderful $35 each wine tasting together on their back patio. Our delightful server was an older man who was quite spicy, witty, and very very knowledgeable about all things wine. I really appreciated his humor and directness with us. The wines were fabulous and we walked out with quite a few bottles. They have a very nice shop inside and a lovely sitting area with shade in the back area of the winery. Lots of parking and close to the highway. We will be returning with friends to try more of their wines.

Yelp
Orisi was one of the vineyards that we visited during our annual wine tasting event, the Wine and Food Affair. We were staying in Healdsburg, and one day we chose to walk instead of hiring a driver. We went to mostly tasting rooms around town, but Orsi was the only full vineyard that we visited that day. It was our first stop of the day. When we arrived, just after 11 AM, it was not yet crowded. We were greet by very friendly people working there. They also had some great Halloween decorations still up at the entrance, as this was only two days after Halloween. We enjoyed our first tasted of a nice, mostly dry white called Biancolella d'Ischia. It was a lovely start to our tasting. We then wandered through the tasting room where we met other friendly staff who we spoke with about our recent wine tasting trip to Italy. We then enjoyed a Sangiovese that was paired with a delicious and hearty vegetable tortellini soup. Later, we got to try another couple of Italian wines. Orsi grows grapes from Italy on site in Healdsburg. The vineyard is beautiful. We were just starting to see some fall color the first weekend in November. There is an area in back that is just lovely and looks like it is all set up for a party. There are tables for picnicking and, at that time, there were lots of pumpkins and hay bales. We enjoyed our wine and soup outside. Had we not been there for an event with lots of other wineries to visit, I would have liked to spend much more time there. Inside the tasing room, there were lots of Italian treats and cooking ingredients. I was walking, so decided I couldn't really carry much, but otherwise, I may have gone a little crazy with my shopping. Anyway, for a nice atmosphere and great Italian wine in Healdsburg, I recommend Orsi.

Yelp
Visited the winery for their Mercantini di Natale (Dec 7-8). Greeted with a splash of their white wine and a bite of olive oil cake. Fun to look through the vendor booths and different Italian items they had for sale. This event is complimentary, but we are asked to confirm attendance on tock. The grounds out back were very pretty with cabana style seating areas. I want to come back and do their picnic basket and wine tasting out there when it's warmer weather. Located just minutes for the Healdsburg square. Very friendly atmosphere.

Yelp
La famiglia is home at Orsi Family Vineyards! Located in heart of the Dry Creek Valley in Healdsburg, California west of Highway 101, Orsi Family Vineyards is a family owned and operated winery that embodies their Italian heritage so much so that they flags of every region of Italy is represented as soon as you are welcome into their visitor's center and tasting room. Open since 2021, Orsi Family Vineyards is the relative new kid on the block as they replaced Geyser Peak Vineyards with over seven hundred acres of vineyards in which they not only use their grapes for their own wines which are all Italian varietals and are produced on site, but also outsource them to other vineyards. What brought a friend and I here for a recent tasting was a sign, and a rather large one at that when we were traveling to another vineyard in the area, saw their massive sign on the corner of Westwood Road and Kinley Drive pointing the way, almost beaconing us to come. When we saw online that tastings could be booked via the Tock website at the relatively reasonable price of thirty-five dollars a person, we were sold. And the wine tasting that my friend and I experienced on a recent sunny weekend afternoon was one of the most exceptional that we have enjoyed in quite some time. Nestled among the confines of their vineyards and Highway 101, of which was kept silent thanks to a barrage of tall trees, our tasting of no fewer than seven wines was enjoyed under a light sunny breeze under their shaded deck. Upon entry to their small but very approachable tasting room, they confirmed our reservation. We were first served a glass of their chilled sparkling wine known as 2021 Spumeggiate Oro, which was a lovely crisp wine. We then followed our tasting room associate Christine to their back deck which overlooks their grassy lawn which had a number of shaded cabanas which in turn overlooks their vineyards. Our second pour was their 2022 Fiano BTL, this wine was actually on the subtler side which benefits it being paired with seafood like fish, so it actually lets your food shine. Starting with our third wine we began to enjoy their reds, all of whose bouquets were never overpowering. For our third wine, we enjoyed their 2022 Sangiovese, which was a personal favorite of mine, with a base of Chianti grapes, this smooth red wine pairs well with any pasta or simple dish with marinara. For our fourth pairing we enjoyed 2019 Nebbiolo which is sourced by using the "foggy grape" as this benefits by not having too much sun when being grown, and is known for being off-color thanks to using the grape's skin. From there we enjoyed their 2021 Montepulciano which translates into the term "beautiful mountain" which is a rare red wine that is lovely tasting wine all by itself or with a meat-focused meal. Christina was so nice that she brought out a bottle of their Rosé of Montepulciano, which when chilled was equally as lovely as their red wine when sampled on its own. For our seventh and final pour we enjoyed their 2021 Primitivo, which is the Italian version of a Zinfandel and had a nice smooth finish to it. With wines now being served in a few local restaurants, you would have to come to Orsi Family Wines to purchase a bottle to enjoy, and that's just the way they like it as they focus on family and locally sourced products. This was exemplified by what they sell in their tasting room, which included individual servings of Fiorella's Artisan Gelato. They also grow their own olive oil trees and we were able to sample the richness of what they produce, as they offered us a complimentary olive oil and baguette bread tasting and they all paired so lovely with their wines that purchasing a bottle of their olive oil was a must. From hosting concerts featuring tribute bands and performers, a stop along the local half-marathon, a pumpkin patch for Halloween, and a traditional Italian market during the Christmas season, Orsi Family Vineyards has truly engrained itself in the local community in less than three years of official operation. This has quickly become a favorite tasting experience among the hundred or so wineries that are dotted along the local Dry Creek Valley, and it all starts with family first and at Orsi Family Vineyards, they make you feel like one of their own!

Yelp
Enjoyed a great hospitality event at Orsi winery yesterday, with a couple of friends. The event showcased oysters and bubbly. Additionally, an amazing charcuterie spread was served (unfortunately, I don't have a picture of that beautiful spread). Being a first-timer at this particular winery, I tasted through selections from their rather extensive lineup of (mostly) Italian varietals. In the red wine department, the Aglianico was unexpectedly delicious, the Montepulciano hard to pronounce but easy to drink. The whites, while being an excellent foil for the oysters, were not my cup of tea, (with the Fiano being a tasty notable exception). Although they ran out of oysters and charcuterie towards the end of the event, it was still a very wonderful experience overall. Highly recommended!

Yelp
We've been here twice now and have loved both experiences. Trip #1: we came here during the Independence Day weekend heat wave, which was rough. But the person helping us (I wish I could remember her name) was so sweet to keep bringing us pitchers of water with our wine samples. Trip #2: we came recently for their summer concert series and got to watch Fleetwood Mask, a Fleetwood Mac cover band. We ordered tickets for table seats, but there were also lawn seats available. This concert was a blast, the wine was good, and the fresh-made pizzas from their pizza oven on-site were delicious! Truly a beautiful venue that you can do so much with, and they take full advantage of this. Miscellaneous: - Lots of parking available via parking lot and street parking - Seating available on the grass and on their deck - Bathrooms located inside the building

Yelp
Lovely surroundings in the vineyard and so great to hear concert during the summer. Excellent sparkling wine and different foods offered.

Yelp
Pretty setting, friendly staff. Large inside tasting bar with imported Italian goodies for sale: olive oil, pasta, taralli crackers... and so much more. You can taste wine outside on the deck or in the covered cabanas - a nice option on hot sunny day. The staff bring olive oil, crackers, and water out with the wines. We enjoyed the setting and experience. It may have been too hot when we went to appreciate red wines. But I Love the Italian influence and will give them another try.

Amy B.

Yelp
This is always a must-do when we visit. The staff is friendly and the grounds are beautiful. The wine is all Italian varietals and the staff is knowledgeable and ready to educate or just help you enjoy. There is indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking. They also have a good variety of Italian goods (olive oils, food stuffs, dish cloths, etc.). I always make sure I get stuff for myself and for gifting!

Yelp
Orsi Family Vineyards specializes in producing Italian wines. They have an expansive wine list including Italian varietals as well as the "usual" suspects found in Sonoma County. The Italian varietals range from: Fiano, Barbera, Sangiovese and many more. The "usual" suspects range from Sauvignon Blanc to Chardonnay to Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Orsi has a large bar area located inside the tasting room immediately when you walk into the building. Behind the building there is additional seating including tables and chairs on the deck and patio. The patio includes umbrellas and cabana style seating if you'd like a break from the sun. The outdoor area is located right next to the vineyards so you get an authentic Sonoma County wine experience during your tasting. We kicked off our tasting with their Brut Sparkling, which is always a nice way to start a tasting. They brought out water, breadsticks and a plate of olive oil and some bread to accompany the wine tasting. Their olive oil is grown from their own olive trees and it was scrumptious! We then started tasting their Italian whites and reds. All the wines were wonderful but my absolute favorite was the Aglianico. This wine has a very complex flavor profile and is well balanced with a hint of spices. All of their wines are focused around being food-friendly. Sarah helped lead the tasting and she was absolutely wonderful! She shared the story of the winery and wines. I highly encourage everyone to visit Orsi! I greatly enjoyed my experience and the wines and look forward to going back again soon!

Yelp
Are you a wino? I ask that as a compliment of your sterling character. Even better are you a lover of Italian wines? Well then this newly opened family owned and operated winery is for you. Here is made wines from locally grown grapes with names that you probably have never heard before. How's about scioppettino? Or a biancolella? Step up to the tasting bar or sit in a comfortable outdoor sofa under a shaded pergola because you are about to have a taste testing adventure. The family makes 17 varietals as of June 2021. Some of the more exotic varietals had a total production of 50 cases. And a few of those have been in the cellar since 2015. This is hen's teeth stuff. Any wine collector friend would be jealous of you having some of these bottles. The best part of this esoterica? The 9 wines that I tasted are all delicious! The whites are fresh and smooth without being sweet nor syrupy. The reds each have a distinct character. These wines are not cookie cutter made from the mold like too many big producers churn out by the millions of bottles. If you like a lighter body red with a piquant flavor and slightly spicy finish, try the barbera. How's about if your tongue goes for the big bold reds that are full of chocolate? Well the Montepulciano is going to blow off your socks! For the high quality across the board the prices are really quite reasonable. Check out their website. I am a wino. I have a wine snob's nose with the purse of a stingy old man. The bottle prices here are for these handcrafted wines are quite reasonable. I joined the premium level wine club and walked out with a case of various bottles. The family plans to soon start a event calendar with live music, comedians, BBQ meals and an outdoor pizza oven. The outdoor visit areas are pretty. The indoor tasting room is basic with some merchandise imported from Italy. Oh, almost forgot. The family makes and sells olive oil. From their own olive groves. It's delicious, too. Get here to "discover" the place, join the club, and enjoy a winery that feels authentic because it is. If your wine country visits to all the big producers seems corporate slick samey-samey, then you must come here. A breath of fresh air.

Yelp
This is a new winery located just a few minutes from downtown Healdsburg. It's the old Geyser Peak winery redone with variety of Italian wines. We had a wine tasting with a shared small plate of charcuterie comprising of parmesean cheese, salami, olives, dried apricot, almonds, small slices of bread with a side of olive oil. The olive oil is from their own olive trees and cold pressed. The tasting started with a California Sauvignon Blanc and the moved to Italian whites and reds. The service was very attentive as we chose to sit outdoors on the deck. All of the tables on the deck and lower level patio had unbrellas which is nice if you don't want to soak up too much sun. You can also choose to go indoors in the air conditioned tasting room. They are planning to have music and outdoor food soon as this new Italian winery ramps up. I highly recommend Orsi as one of the newest and upcoming boutique wineries in Healdsburg.

Yelp
Decided to come here for my birthday with my family for wine tasting. My family and i went on a day where the weather was perfect. This winery is family own Italian winery. I was greeted by Teri, very friendly host. When you walk around at this winery, its very cute, nice, and clean. Their grapes are locally grown in California. They have a long list of wine to taste which are Italian wine, only a few non Italian wine. Their wine has no sugar added and are all dry type. As my family were tasting the wine, Teri explained which city/island that each wine is from Italy. Each wine we tried were all good, smooth, and yummy. Its our first time trying Italian wine too. They have both white and red wine. They provide some snacks too to pair with the wines. Have their own parking lot which is nice. Will definitely come back again whenever I'm in the city

Yelp
One of my favorite vineyards!!! Nicest staff, delicious Italian wine selections, generous tasting pours, and serene ambiance... can't ask for any better way to spend an afternoon at the Orsi Family Vineyards

Yelp
Great wine and tasting experience at Orsi, so happy to find some Italian varietals on this side of the valley, delicious wine, beautiful grounds and very friendly staff. Was very nice to meeting the wine maker as well. We look forward to coming back visiting on a warmer spring day!

Yelp
Came here in a rainy day, everyone working was fun and friendly. Great to talk to and generous and kind. Ambiance was quiet but looking forward to visit in the summer. Food was great- complimentary crackers and olive oil :)

Yelp
Orsi was our first winery stop very early in the day--we arrived shortly after opening. That being the case we were the only customers so had the space to ourselves. They're a younger winery and specialize in Italian wines. We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling and given our choice of where to sit and taste. We sat outside enjoying our wines one-by-one at a very leisurely pace. We never felt rushed and were able to have a nice chat w/ our host. All the wines we tasted were great and the bottles were very reasonably priced. The indoor space has a long marble bar and indoor seating. They have a table of everything from snacks to olive oil and a fridge for cold items. It's simply decorated but the real charm is the outside space with porch seating, outdoor sofas and lovely views. We left with several wines and would happily return for another tasting to try other wines we missed out on this visit.

Yelp
Visited during Winter Wineland 2022. Our 6th year doing wine road winter wineland and just did the Sunday one day option and due to Covid had to make reservations for set times at 4 wineries: Foppiano, Orsi family, Landmark Hop Kiln, Hook and Ladder. We really enjoyed the seated tasting and delicious Italian wines. Everyone was very friendly and the setting is lovely. We bought a bottle of the Sangiovese.

Yelp
Amazing gift outside of Healdsburg!! Our host, Sarah, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and most of all.... a real pleasure to spend time with!! Their wheelhouse of Italian Varietals are outstanding!! This winery is a treasure.

Yelp
This winery is fantastic. I was here for a tasting over Memorial Day weekend. We learned so much about the winery from the woman pouring for us. We took two bottles home based on her recommendation. The property is beautiful and everyone is so kind! Do yourself a favor and opt for the charcuterie board with your tasting. It was fantastic! We will be back for sure.

Yelp
Great wines and what a terrific event venue! We had a truly wonderful time with our friends.

Yelp
Spontaneously stopped in today after a bike ride on the magnolia loop. Delicious Italian wines & excellent service. My husband and I learned a lot about Italian wine. If you haven't been here, you definitely need to stop. It is a MUST!

Lisa S.

Yelp
What a beautiful winery experience. Everything is exactly what you would anticipate in a great wine country tasting. We opted for the added charcuterie plate and it was a perfect addition to wine. The Italian varietals are unique and fun to compare to some of their more traditional grapes. Each of the wines were outstanding and the outdoor private spaces were relaxing and looked like something out of a magazine. It is a perfect little getaway .. very easy access, tons of parking, and close to downtown Healdsburg. I also understand they are hosting different music events there, which I'm sure will be awesome because the space is perfect for that. Our group of 6 had a blast and we highly recommend to add this winery to your go to list!!!! We for sure will be coming back.

Anna C.

Yelp
Beautiful winery! Delicious wines, friendly staff, what more do you need? The grounds are GOR-GOUS!! Will definitely be back!!!

Vincent C.

Yelp
We had a very pleasant surprise today with a delightful and thouroghly comprehensive wine tasting of Italian varietals grown locally in Healdsburg. The general manager Teri made it a point to make sure everyone was comfortable outdoors at their well landscaped/decorated grounds (can't say enough about the layout - very cool cabana style seating). Not only were the wines fabulous (trust me I know - I was a winegrower for over 20 years in Dry Creek Valley) the staff was very attentive to our every question - one of the best wine tasting experiences in the area. Can't wait to visit again with other friends - my new GoTo place for out of towners! Pure hospitalian style of hospitality you can only get only in Tuscany or Piemonte.
