We really enjoyed the peace and quiet we found in the middle of Siena on a hot day. We pretty much had the gardens to ourselves. The staff were warm and welcoming and we will definitely return!

A tranquil garden with beautiful views. We visited in January - lots of beautiful greenery, and the greenhouses were full of interesting tropical plants. This is an old botanical garden, dating from the 1856 and as such has some beautiful statues and antique buildings which make this garden feel very magical. The peace, the sweet bird song, and the magnificent views really make this place special. A romantic place to visit with your loved one.

Very much enjoyed my visit there. Not because the botanical garden was amazing in itself, but because it is a beautiful quiet place with stunning views of the countryside. Loved sitting there and paint a little.

Beautiful und diverse botanical garden if you need some relaxing time and being away from tourist spots. However some places need to be better take care of. Since it’s maintained by an university I assume that a lack of money is the reason. Ticket is 5€ / person.

For only 5 euro you can spend some time in a quiet, beautiful green space full of trees, flowers, and butterflies. There are lovely views of the countryside over the outer city wall, plenty of benches to sit on, ponds, rock lizards, lots of signage to explain all of the plants, and more. I loved the peacefulness of it.

A great botanical garden, it’s a nice size! Very steep slopes so beware if you have mobility issues. You should also wear lots of insect repellent here as it is a hotspot. There are benches and shade to sit in. Would highly recommend!
