Os Arcos

The food is absolutely brilliant, delicious traditional Portuguese food. I was a bit upset because my drink took very, very long to arrive, I had to ask 4 times and took about 30 minutes to get my passion fruit sangria which it was very good. The first person who served us (an older guy) it was a terrible waiter, the second one (a very young boy) was brilliant! Everything tasted so good, so fresh, I wish we live near it to be regular clients. I couldn’t believe I paid less than 52€ for such a good food in such a touristic area. I will certainly be back next year when I return on holidays!

Such delicious food! Perfect rice dishes and amazing grilled sardines. Very tasty oysters. The Steak on a Stone is very flavorful and tender, and beautifully served. Gorgeous location with a view of the river and moon rise. Very nice seating indoors and out. Hustling wait staff really show they get the idea of 'service'. And at these prices, you can really enjoy a fabulous meal!

Brilliant experience at Os Arcos! From start to finish all staff were fantastic and made the evening very enjoyable. Superb food - all of us had the piri piri chicken as our main which was really tasty. Good range of starters to begin with too. Great value and an ideal vibe about the restaurant. Highly recommend!

The plate was not as ordered, but the waitress could not admit it. If you ask for grilled fish expect it to be full of olive oil on top, same as the salad. Please be cautious because they also add on the bill items you have not ordered, and will remove it when you complaint. Not a nice experience.

Everything was bad. Bad food, bad services and extra charge with some starters that we havent ordered. There are many options in the area, don't choose this restaurant.

Waited 1 hour for our food to arrive, the same was true for tables around us. It was particularly hard with 2 young kids

Waited for more than an hour to get food. Forgot our table, messed up the orders. And then it was really underwhelming and poorly prepared .

This is a good place . My wife and I stopped here for something to eat, I had grilled swordfish and my wife had had grilled chicken, her fries were a bit greasy but apart from that it was really nice. We had no complaints.
