It was our first time here and although it was very good, it was not amazing. The food we had was tasty and well made. The restaurant has a very typical decoration as expected. The staff was friendly and helpful.

My friend and I decided to get a Too Good To Go meal from Os Tibetanos, and it was the best choice we could have made! The lady was really friendly and even gifted us two desserts (with cream, banana, strawberry, and chocolate: perfection). The Too Good To Go meal was complete with all the nutrients you need, and it filled us up, letting us enjoy the afternoon in the park! The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very welcoming, and we would be happy to come back again!

Delicious Tsel momos and tasty vegan spring rolls. Efficient and friendly service. As a bonus, the place smells wonderful from the food cooking! 😀

Incredible experience of eating good hearty vegetarian food and being able to feel great after wards is a bonus. I love this place. Been coming here for over 5 years now. Every time it’s amazing. An institution in itself. Excellent food and amazing service. Momos are great and starters too!

Google
A restaurant with cozy vibes and amazing food. The server was very kind and made the experience better. Best vegetarian dishes we had in Lisbon so far. Highly recommended!

Google
very friendly service but they mixed up and forgot parts of our order. food is good but small portions, don't go when really hungry! atmosphere something between cozy and cramped.

Google
Delicious Tibetan restaurant with a vegetarian menu and a lot of vegan options which was awesome. The service was quick and cordial and the food was really tasty. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice with many Tibetan elements. We did not have a reservation but we were seated immediately on arrival. Definitely a great option!

Yelp
Finally a vegan restaurant on my vacay!!! It's in a random side road, and it's tight inside butthe food was great. The host/cashier/waitress woman is so sweet. She reminds me of Marie on the show "Everybody Loves Raymond". She is clearly in charge, but she has that rough on the outside - soft on the inside kind of personality. Portions are good and prices are decent. Only downside is that they are cash only, so make sure to have Euro's in hand. If not, there's a Santander bank right across the street. Try the seitan and mushroom sauce. You'll lick the plate!

Yelp
A nice, friendly option for vegetarians, and tables are easier to get here than at a lot of other busy restaurants. We got seated immediately here on a Saturday night after a half dozen other places turned us away. Everything we had was good, though perhaps a bit uninspired. If you've never had Tibetan food, don't worry. The flavors here were much milder than most any Asian cuisine you'll find. Entrees lean heavily on tofu, so if you aren't a fan, or gave allergies to soy, you'll have fewer options. For my money, I'd much rather eat at the nearby Jardim dos Sentidos -- a vegetarian spot that will also more readily appeal to the non-tofu loving people in your group. Be sure to bring cash. Credit cards are not accepted.

Yelp
I was so pleased that I'd found this place on Yelp before my trip to Lisbon, and it was just around the corner from where I was going to be based - bonus! A group of about 10 of us went along on a Saturday lunchtime, and they had very little trouble finding tables for us all in the upstairs area. There's a huge downstairs garden-type area too, which I imagine is nice and cool in the summer. I have no prior experience of Tibetan cuisine, but the speciality dish that I ordered was something involving seitan chunks and was tasty without being as spicy as I expected. I certainly felt that I was getting a well-balanced and nutritious vegan meal. Staff were very friendly and the service was pretty good considering our large number. But I have to take a star away from a full 5-star review for the cheezy muzak they were playing, which was some dreadful lounge music covers of Beatles songs. Simply ghastly, and completely out of place in the Tibetan atmosphere of the place. Some singing bowls and chanting would have been more appropriate. They also have a small shop at the front of the store selling incense, teas, prayer beads and other Tibetan ephemera; and on the top floor there is a Buddhist temple and school, where they run meditation classes and workshops. Sadly, they were closed on Sunday when we returned for lunch, otherwise I would certainly have returned there. A great asset in a city with depressingly few veggie outlets.

Yelp
2 stars for the ambience and service . Food is extremely bland with no flavors or even salt. Got the veggie momos and mango curry both lacked flavor. Pricey for the bland food. Service is good though.

Yelp
It opens at 19:30 and being earlier makes you a bit uncomfortable but as soon as you are entering the wintergarden you get the impression of being in Tibet. Excellent vegetarian food combined very polite and attentive people makes your stay a time of calmness. The only negative aspect is that they do not accept credit cards.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this place's food and atmosphere, what I ordered: House salad: it came with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cabage, corn, and olives with a delicious home made non dairy dressing. I LOVED this salad. Tibetan pastry: 3 small fried sambusa like pastries filled with seiten and veggies. It was delicious! It came with a great tomato like salsa to top. Mango curry: although it wasn't like a sweet tropical mango flavor it was still good. More like a mango chutney with tomato sauce. I would have liked more veggies in the curry but the dish came with a side of broccoli ( very well cooked). The staff was attentive and the owner very friendly. Will be back.

Yelp
CASH!!!!!!!!!!!! No credit cards. Try to get a seat downstairs in the garden like room. We were staying in a nearby hotel and I saw the reviews were quite good. We were pleasantly surprised. We came just as the restaurant opened at 7PM and it filled up quite quickly on a Thursday night. The portions are large for American standards. The Greek salad was delicious with LOTS of Feta. All the dishes we had were very good, but just to mention the seitan with creamed mushrooms was particularly tasty and plentiful. The waitress was very patient with our English only and we would go back again if in the area.

Yelp
What a fun dining experience! Didn't know the first thing about Tibetan food before this, so was curious to try it. I love vegetarian food, which is a great place to start if you're planning to eat here. We had made a reservation on Fork and Knife only an hour or two prior, so when we got there, they didn't have our reservation. Luckily, they were able to squeeze into the table at the front window--and when I say "squeeze," there is not a bit of exaggeration there. The tables were tiny! We got there very shortly after they opened and the place was hopping! The waiter wore a long sleeve, floppy white satiny uniform, which, as a former waiter, I cannot imagine wearing to serve--I'd have been a mess. The spring rolls were really tasty and I had a mango curry and hubby had one of the dumpling dishes that was also really nice. The chocolate cake dessert was quite tasty--like a mousse cake. It's obviously a very popular place, and I'd recommend getting ahold of them to make sure you have a reservation. They took those seriously--there were post it notes sprinkled across most every table in the joint when we arrived. Pay by cash only. Totally affordable and fun experience.

Yelp
think before you go. I went expecting to visit another good Tibetan restaurant on a different continent. The only manner win which this facility resembles a Tibetan restaurant is in the decor. The food is indeed vegetarian. The food was well presented, and the service was adequate. The FOOD, for which I came, was unremarkable. The mango curry had neither curry taste nor mango. As a conscientious customer, I planned to honestly relate my thoughts to the manager, but when she cashed my bill, she neglected to ask me anything. Importantly, the night before I ate there, my wife and I asked a departing customer for her thoughts. I took her mediocre review into account, but decided to try the restaurant anyway. I concur with her. I can do better at home -- unless one is looking for Tibetan atmosphere, nondescript food, with jazz music at reasonable prices. I stand by this evaluation.

Yelp
This vegetarian restaurant was recommended by our hotel & exceeded expectations! Even my meat loving husband was happy. We shared a hot, delicious broccoli soup, spring rolls & a beautiful, fresh, house salad. I got seitan & vegetables with thin noodles, my husband got monos. Both were very satisfying. I can't forget the Tibetan bread which is served piping hot with cream cheese & hot sauce, so delicious. We are only in Lisbon for 5 days, I'll be sure to catch one more meal here before our departure. Great value. Cash only & they speak English.

Yelp
Great food at very reasonable prices. Host friendly and helpful. Will be going again.

Yelp
Be sure to allot a lot of time for this place, because everything takes forever in this sub par restaurant. From the aperitif they "ran out of",and the cold appetizer, to the bland curries, and the subsequent salt you ask for and even the check to finally put you out of your misery. Just don't even bother. There are better places even if they are not strictly veggie.

Yelp
Vegetarian restaurant with a lovely covered and heated garden in the back. We had dumplings and a curry and both were superb. Lots of flavor and a wonderful romantic environment.

Yelp
Went to this place hoping I would find a fave one for vegetarian place. It did not disappoint! the service was good. I had their veggie steak and rice! it was tasty. Will definitely return again. They seem to always be busy so that is a good sign!

Yelp
Good variety for vegetarian eaters in Lisbon. Not sure what to expect for Tibetan cuisine but Os Tibetanos has a variety of Asian inspired meal options. We enjoyed the steamed rolls which came with a cream cheese spread. The satan steak was creative and very tasty. Service was very friendly albeit it a tad slow for some of the courses. We were visiting and glad to find a restaurant option that wasn't strictly meat or fish as well as quite creative

Yelp
Dishes are yummy as I came to the resturant twice on my trip to Lisbon. Everything I tried was delicious including the Samos, crepes, light menu lunch, almond pudding and to end with yogi tea! Very generous helping and service is very friendly, prompt and efficient. Reccomend for vegetarians and vegans

Yelp
Came here after hearing about the Tibetan monks working there and the amazing food. Sadly, the menu was filled with Greek feta and Caprece salads as well as Portuguese steaks? Concerned, I settled for a seitan curry that tasted exactly like canned gulasch you can get in Swedish grocery stores. A Tibetan flag on the wall does NOT make up for the cuisine. Also I saw no monks, only Portuguese waitresses. This place is FAKE! Also the sparkling wine was disgusting.

Yelp
Very cool vegetarian restaurant in Lisbon. Not too difficult to park nearby. Service is very friendly and accomodating to English speakers. Prices are fair, but no credit cards are accepted. Ambiance is very comfortable. Fresh juices are very tasty, but I would recommend adding ice. Main dishes are tasty and full of proteins like tofu.

Yelp
Simply the Best . Super service great food, loved this place . I was told this was a good place to he have vegetarian food and they were wrong. This is the best place 5 big stars from me ...... Thanks

Yelp
Delicious, vegetarian food. We tried the lentils, a couple salads, samosas, freshly squeezed juices, apple & orange. Everything was delicious and the service was good.
