The staff are wonderful, made us feel very welcomed. There is coin laundry available and a kitchen where you can store things in the fridge and make meals. They offer bunk beds and private rooms. It has been a pleasure staying in such a central location for such an affordable price.

Very nice hotel. We got the traditional Japanese room. The receptionist is very polite and can speak english wonderfully. Bathroom and shower were clean. Our room was on the top floor. There is an elevator, but we had to take the stairs to the top floor as the elevator only goes to the second to last floor. But that was no problem for us. Location is also very nice as well! Definitely recommend.

Friendly staff. Good location. Good prices. Beds not the greatest. Showers are the type you need to push the button every 15 seconds to maintain water flow. There is an elevator once you enter the front door on second floor.

Best hostel I've stayed at. Perfect location. Clean. Showers are clean as well. Comfortable beds. Living area and pantry which has everything you need. Excellent staff who are so friendly and willing to help. Thank you for the hospitality. I'd definitely recommend this place to any solo or non solo traveller

We stayed at this hostel only one night but I can say it was great. The room was very clean and simple, with a small toilet with bath and the tatami floor. The location is great because you are really in the centre of the night life, close to dotonbori. At the hostel you can also buy discounted tickets for the sky garden near the Osaka station to have a great view of the city. We will come back for sure!

This hostel has the perfection location. Right in the heart of America-mura, a short 10 min walk to dotonburi and close to the station. The staff all speak English and are extremely helpful and kind. The bunk beds were very comfortable and the bathroom and showers clean. Would definitely stay again

Great location near Shinsaibashi Train Station, large shopping centers, bars and restaurants. The staff is very friendly. My room was clean, compact and included basic amenities. Recommend for solo travelers.

Fantastic staff. This place is both extremely professional and homely. They have everything in order and once you come in, they make you feel like family. Make sure to visit the sake bar downstairs for great drinks and even better laughs!

Yelp
The staff at this hostel is the main reason why I give it 5 stars. They went above and beyond in helping me fogire out where to eat, quickest way to get to my destinations, helped me plan where I should go and even gave me tips for the future cities I was going to visit. The hostel itself has everything thing you meed. You can cook your own meals, wash and dry your clothes, hot showers (there is even a small tub in one of the showers) and a bar downstairs. The one downer is that there is no elevator from the street entrance to the check in area, but there is an elevator once you get inside.

Yelp
Super friendly and helpful staff! Most of them speak enough English, so I was able to ask them questions or for help with directions. They also have hostels in other locations in Japan. I booked two rooms for my group of five during our stay in Osaka; one was bunk bed-styled, and the other was more Japanese-styled (i.e., futons on tatami mats). Both were private rooms with their own bathrooms, but you can also book shared-rooms/kitchen/bathrooms (more hostel-like). There's free wifi, and for every 3 nights you stay, they offer you a choice of a gift bag of snacks, postcards, or a 300 yen discount! Each of us also received a coupon for a free sake at their sake bar. Plus, you can store your luggage after check-out for free! Hana Hostel is pretty close to the Shinsaibashi station and a 10-15 minute walk to the Namba station. If you prefer staying around the area, there's also a long strip of shopping and food nearby (Dotonbori)! NOTE: They don't provide towels/toothbrush/toothpaste, so I would recommend bringing your own. If you prefer not to, they have towel rentals, and you can always stop by the nearby 7-11 for essentials.

Yelp
Osaka Hana Hostel has got to be the cleanest and friendliest hostel I've ever stayed at! In total, my group of 3 stayed here for 5 nights. We booked about 5 months beforehand and my accommodations were a bit tricky (had to switch rooms from dorm style to loft beds to the studio ensuite to accommodate our group). The staff here are so cute and friendly. They even helped us move our luggage in between rooms while we were out exploring Japan all day. The rates are very reasonable and cheap and best of all, the hostel is just a couple blocks away from Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi! JAPANESE FOOD AND SHOPPING PARADISE! Here's the link to their website! Book early! http://osaka.hanahostel.com/

Yelp
We had a great stay here. The private rooms are SMALL, so if you can stand sleeping while surrounded by your luggage, you won't have a problem. The hostel is right in the middle of Osaka nightlife (the Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori districts). If you don't feel like going far, try the yummy sake bar downstairs and meet some other tourists and nationals alike. I also highly recommend the bubble tea place just outside the door.

Yelp
Whenever I travel, I stay in hostels and it must be said the Osaka Hana Hostel is the best I have EVER stayed in! To begin with, the hostel is well situated if you want to discover Osaka by foot or using the subway. The staff was very polite and helpful, always ready to answer questions and give advice! For example, I had unfortunately taken the wrong adapter plug with me to Japan and they lent me one, for free, during the whole time of my stay! How kind! The hostel was very clean and well thought out. I was in a female dorm. Each bed had it's own lamp, a big locker, a few coat hangers and a curtain to give each of us a bit of privacy. The kitchen was good, with a common area for all us travelers to meet up and share our experiences. The hostel organizes small events throughout the week for the guests, which is really nice if you're traveling by yourself. I took part in the meal night, we cooked japanese food together, okonomiyaki for example. But there was also sake tasting and calligraphy. Other good points were the internet access, the air conditioning, the washing machines and the showers were really great (much appreciated after a long day of visiting Osaka!). I really recommend this hostel. If i go back to Osaka, I'll be staying here!
