Ósinn Restaurant at Hotel Höfn

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. We had the reindeer meatballs and lobster soup for appetizers. For the main course we had the cod and the lobster pasta. For dessert we had the chocolate cake. My friend is not a huge fish fan but she loved the cod, it was flavored perfectly. As for me, I love all things lobster so my lobster soup and lobster pasta was absolutely delicious. I am a lover of moscato and it was the first restaurant in Iceland where I saw it on the menu and it was a great one. On top of the great food, our waitress was magnificent. She gave us tips for the area and answered all of our numerous questions. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Really delicious. The menu is not huge at all, but os rather hard to select from, as it feels from the pages that you would want this, and this, and this, probably, as well :-) The service is good, and the atmosphere is nice. Enjoyed the dinner - do recommend!

The food was great. The waitress was kind enough to let us know that there was aurora outside at the time we had dinner. We appreciate it very greatly.

We arrived late in the evening and the servers were very kind to accommodate us. We drove a lot and was in need of good food for sure. We had the burger, pasta and pizza margarita. We loved the burger and the pasta. Pizza was okay, was very dry. One of the server was very kind to provide us with extra cheese. Kids really appreciated that. The burger was very good and so was the sauce that came with the burger.

I am not a huge seafood fan but the cod here was fantastic. The lemon really brought something to the dish. The reindeer meatballs were also excellent. The staff was very attentive and answered some of our questions about Iceland in general.

Wanted to order takeout pizza. But to order online, a verification code is sent to your phone. Our French number wouldn't receive the code. After calling and waiting on hold a long time we existed the problem and they told us they would not take our order over the phone. We would have to come place the order in person, wait, and then take it to go. What a pain. (We called and ordered from Ishusid Pizzeria instead. So friendly, so easy, had 4 pizzas in 20 min.)

All the restaurants were closed in town and we were sent here! BEST THING TO HAPPEN FOR US! I had the arctic char and the others had the chicken. FANTASTIC! Fresh veggies! Food and service impeccable! Thank you! I can’t believe I didn’t take a photo of my plate, it was beautifully presented!

Fancy restaurant, bit expensive. We had different kinds of pizzas, lobster soup and linguini. We all liked it. Limited choices of liquor. No cocktails but variety of wines served. Clean well decorated restaurant.
