Absolutely love this spot. Perfect escape from Boulder to grab a drink and some food. Usually always get the wings or the spicy chicken sandwich. Every time I’ve been here we are served by Max who is incredibly professional, friendly and kind. Make sure to ask for him. He has consistently gone out of his way when serving us and can’t thank him enough.

What a treat! Great food and beer, the staff were kind and very helpful. Please seek out Michael who was one of the best people and servers I’ve met in years. Looking forward to our next Colorado trip to find our way back to Oskar Blues again! Cheers!

The place was founded in only serving cajun food. Now they serve Asian food and American cheeseburgers. Everything we had was great! It is a great place to stop on your way to Rocky Mountain national Park.

Max took great care of us, got the chef to whip up some amazing mixed vegetables... Really delicious. This is a great place to stop on your way back from RMNP!

We always enjoy stopping in when in or near Lyons. Their fish and chips are delicious and it’s hard for me to order anything else but I have tried the burgers and they were good too. On our recent visit we sat outside with our dog and they bought him a treat and fresh water. Service has always been great. Food did take a little longer to come out yesterday, it was a Monday but seemed to be busy enough.

As a visitor from Hungary exploring the U.S., I can confidently say that my experience today at Oskar Blues Brewery in Lyons, Colorado was one of the absolute highlights of my trip. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and authentically Colorado. But what truly set this visit apart was the exceptional service—hands down the best I’ve experienced anywhere in the United States. A huge shoutout to Taylor, who made the entire experience unforgettable. Taylor was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about the beers and food, and genuinely made me feel at home. Whether it was helping me choose the perfect brew or sharing insights into the local scene, Taylor’s hospitality was top-notch and sincere. The beer? Outstanding. The atmosphere? Fun, relaxed, and full of local character. I left not only with a full heart and belly but with the feeling that I’d just discovered one of the true hidden gems of American craft brewing. Thank you, Oskar Blues, and thank you, Taylor—you made this day truly special. I’ll be telling everyone back home in Hungary about this place.

Always wanted to check out Oskar’s since I’ve been to more breweries than I can count—and it didn’t disappoint. The beers were just as good as I remembered, the service was great, and the food hit the spot. That fried chicken sandwich was tasty AF. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Food was amazing— nachos were the perfect appetizer. Our server, Taylor, was extremely helpful and gave great suggestions. 10/10 would recommend when you’re in town.

Service was amazing! Food was great and the beers on tap were incredible. Kids chicken tenders: great portion and good quality! 5/5 Etouffe : this was just ok. Creamy but not as remarkable as some have been. Flavor lacking but I did like they didn't have toooo much rice like sometimes 3/5 Sandwiches- I didn't try but reportedly they were delish :) Ambiance was a little meh but it was totally dead on a Sunday early afternoon - went in the downstairs entrance and couldn't then tell if the place was open! However waitstaff friendly and food good bar food, I would just avoid the fancy stuff.

Sat at the bar and Max took great care of us. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the beers and things to do around town. Loved the beers and the wings that he suggested. Great experience!!!

We were passing through this cute town and stopped to eat here. My husband heard it was good. We had the hazy IPA's and a taster of the raspberry blonde. They were both delicious. We ordered the smoked wings with sauce on the side. They were SO GOOD! They didn't need sauce with them. Then were ordered the green chili soup and their special, pozole. We shared both soups and couldn't decide which one was better. They were both terrific. The staff and waiter were very friendly. If we ever travel in this area again, we will come back.

Awesome food and service!!! Definitely glad we stopped after a long day of hiking! Come see them definitely worth it!!!

We just left and have to say, we didn't experience any of the issues recent reviews said. The beer (as expected) was great. The spicy chicken sandwich and the pizza was delicious. Loved the interior decor, very on point for a brewery. Service was prompt and the service was very nice. After hitting up the pinball arcade next door it was nice to be able to walk over here and get food and a brew before heading back on the road.

We tried Oskar Blues Grill after a 20 mile bike ride. Great place to grab a cold beverage & lunch with some friends. Our table enjoyed the Prime Rib Sandwich, The Happy Hippy Sandwich, House Salad w/cup of Gumbo soup & Salad w/ Grilled Chicken! All excellent choices for lunchtime; we enjoyed fresh Oskar Blues draft beer. Our waitress CC was very attentive and efficient for our orders. Would definitely go back.

Great place for a casual meal paired with a beer. Tons of space both inside and outside including a downstairs live music area/bar. They have a good food menu including typical bar/American favorites and pizzas. We ordered their version of a Supreme pizza; it came stuffed to the brim with toppings and could easily feed a family of 4. Their appetizer soft pretzel is a must-get. Friendly staff, efficient service. Parking is available along their storefront or on the streets nearby.

Food we had was fantastic, my wife had their Reuben, had fish and chips. The service was great and of course they have a list of great beer.

Oskar Blues is a massive place and there are so many seating areas, inside and out. One of the things I was hoping to do was to cozy up to an outside spot and find a warm fire pit to enjoy a beer. It was cold when we visited and folks must have had the same idea, lol. All of the cozy fire pit and/or gas fire spots were taken. So, we headed back in and found a spot at the bar. Interesting tidbit here, there is one place to order and then once place to pick up your order, much like when you're at Starbucks. This simple process allows the beer tenders to have speed and efficiency with tackling orders, picking up empties and keeping the line moving very quickly. Nice job here. I'd love to return on a warmer day and find a perfect spot to relax and watch the birds outside. We shall return!

I love my recently discovered town of Lions,Colorado. I'm also very much appreciating the Dale's brewery conveniently located in the center of town!

Food was delicious and unexpectedly interesting: great service and an outdoor seating option

This is the worst jambalaya I ever had.. Supposed to have andouille sausage chicken as well as shrimp. I got chicken two pieces of andouille sausage and zero shrimp . If you're going to advertise those three ingredients then they better well be in the order Terrible food threw it out in disgust. Come on, make the recipe do it well and have something to be proud of. Not a hard dish, actually derives from a poor man's dish, the scraps of other quality food. You need to get it right and it's not hard. Don't bother ordering just make it yourself and you will be happy. Open up your own stand and do better. Did I mention I spent 20$ on this 10$ dish? Despicable!

Everything seems to taste better (Beer included) after a Hike right??? Welp after hiking the twin sisters we all decided to stop for a beer at Oskar Blues....and it really hit the spot. I really liked their Mutant X beer...delicious hoppy and fruity. We also had their pretzels and nachos....now while I cant say it's the best. I can surely say that it hit the spot...and for Lyons it is pretty darn good. Service is fantastic: Thank you for letting me sample suds. Ambiance is great with good tunes a playing.

I was disappointed at first because we sat down and after 15minures we decided to leave but went down to the bar area and the bartender was very accommodating and Marcine the manager came and apologized. FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! The shrimp and Crawfish Etoufee is SOO good!

Great service and great food! The waitresses were really friendly and helpful, and even gave some nice recommendations for food and drinks. It was nice out and we were seated on the patio, so we had a pretty view of the main street in Lyons. The burgers were tasty and really filling, and the portions were generous. Definitely a nice place to stop by!

After 20 minutes of no server coming to our table, we got up and left. It was clear we were not the only people who also experienced this.

Since Dale brought this place to life I have been coming here. We used to come up on the bus and party the night away. On my latest visit, much has changed. It's lost the spark, it's no longer the energetic hot spot it once was. The decor is muted, the staff if down even the food has fallen. The beers remain close to the same but the passion for them is gone. They are no longer held high and praised as a product of hard work. I have to assume this is due to the sale to the Monster group but I could be wrong.

Service was great, located right next to one of Colorado's largest pinball arcades! A great stop before you hit Estes Park. The food is typical bar food but still good. They have a few arcade games downstairs so that's cool. Very cute place to check out.

Oskar Blues is the place to go after a long hike! Especially when it's hot out and you need a nice cold beer! We were seated right away on the outside patio (had it to ourselves at lunch time) , and our waitress brought us water right away! We ordered an Eeyore Mule, and an Oskar Lager (they were temporarily out of the Mama Pils which I had wanted). Lunch was a tasty and fresh Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and some of the best Fish & Chips I've seen in awhile! The waitress came to check on us often, food and beer was delicious. She even brought out a half glass of the Mama Pils after it was tapped. Great lunch and one of my favorite spots in Lyons! Great, friendly environment perfect for family, friends and just relaxing with a good beer!

We stopped in on Sunday to grab a beer and a bite to eat and our experience was great! The place seemed packed and busy, but we got sat right away in the bar with a great view! My husband tried our servers recommendation with the Pilsner (mamas little yellow pils) and he loved it!! I also tried her recommended beer of Old Chub and... WOW!!! A great beer! Thank you Taylor!! Our server was super friendly, cheerful and enjoyable with us and had a great attitude as she looked super busy. Props to her!! The fried pickles were awesome!! The smoked turkey sandwich was mouth watering (also her recommendation)!!! Hubby thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips too. We WILL be coming back

Save your money and time. The food and attitude from our waitress isn't worth it. Ok to head to the downstairs bar for a drink. Service there is great.

So if you aren't having their Rueben with the andouille sausage, you are missing out on the best item on their menu. We always go there after a hike in the mountains, and it's always a great respite and recharge. However, could y'all clean the place up a little more between tables? It's often a bit dingy.

We came in on our way back to Boulder from Estes Park/RMNP. Looked up places to eat on Yelp and based on reviews chose to eat here. So glad we did! We came in and it was pretty busy. Our service was great. The food came out quickly and it was amazing! Highly recommend the fish and chips and the OB burger with sweet potato fries.

I like this place mostly for drinks and for its outside sitting and live music. Their burger is good and my favorite is their prime rib sandwich. Service is ok.

Great place for live music! Love the staff especially Austin and Jamie! They are always ready to serve you with a smile and help make your experience fun! My favorite food options is the salmon salad, wings, brownie sundae, and pretzel! Great beer selection too!

We stopped by on a whim after a cross country meet at the high school. My husband is a big fan of their beer and we've gone to the Longmont location several times. I won't lie, I was surprised that they were all full on an early weeknight evening, but that's not their fault. We decided to sit on the empty seat yourself patio and the man who served us was super friendly and it was quick considering how busy they were. The food was delicious! We had a good quick stop in and will probably be back again.

So much improvement in the last 18 months. Food quality has gone from a 2/5 to a solid 4/5. Simple menu but all flavorful selections and yummy specials. Service could be a little better, but there's always room for improvement. Staff is friendly, but maybe not as attentive as I'd like. I wish the restaurant would go back to the funky blues joint it had when it opened. It was a restaurant anomaly in Colorado and that's why it was such a hit. Today, when you go in it still has the corporate feel that almost spelled its demise. Bands are coming back to the basement and it's a fun evening again down there. Props to the new ownership for caring and making changes. Let's make it funky again!

A solid choice if passing through or even as a destination set on Main Street in quaint and scenic Lyons. You'll be right in the middle of downtown where you can walk to all the cute shops. They have the whole Oskar Blues lineup you're accustomed to so you'll leave with you belly full and happy. The restaurant has a robust menu with great portions. I love their smoked wings and jambalaya! But get it before it sells out! The only thing that is holding them back from more stars is they seems to always be a little short staffed. However, the staff they do have are rock stars and true personalities! Great people. Great drinks!

The pizza was excellent and the beers refreshing! The server was very helpful as well.

Beer is fantastic and the wings are smoky. Blue cheese dressing is home made and very delicious. Jody, from Iowa, was a great hostess an a lot of fun. Great job!!!!!

Good place to stop for food & drinks. It's a large place with 2 patios. Dog friendly, clean bathrooms and good service. The chicken Tenders were Yummy...

Stopped at the Lyons location after a long day at RMNP. We had been to the one in Longmont a few times and really enjoyed it. This most recent visit was marginal at best. Service was slow and food was just ok. We will make a point to enjoy the Longmont store next time.

This place has really changed. I haven't been in a long time but it was so disappointing. They were out of a few beers that I was interested in, which wasn't terrible. But the food was just lousy. The Mac and cheese, according to the person I was with was just mediocre. I got their veggie burger which they had put into the fryer and it was actually dried out and crunchy- it ended up having no taste. Another friend got a burger which had beer cheese on it which he said tasted odd. The only thing good was the fries. Sorry to say I won't be back.

Patio and indoor restaurant. Didn't check out upper level but looks like there will be tables and some games up there. Prime rib sandwich was very good and the bun held up to the meat and au jois. Fries were very good and not a weak one in the bunch. Always enjoy their beer and they offer a free Oskar Blues beer with Yelp check-in.

My wife and I were passing through on the way down the mountain, and the altitude was giving her a terrible headache. We couldn't find a place to get any aspirin, and the only place we had found had a line of 48 people. In despatation, we pulled off the road at Oskar Blues to ask where we might be able to buy some aspirin. The bartender told us there was a Circle K down the road but to let him check and see if he had anything in back. He came back with a couple of aspirin packs, which he gave us for free. We had to hit the road, or we would have stayed for a beer (it looked really good). I just wanted to repay a much apriciated kindness with a thank you and good review. I can't speak for the food, but the service and kindness was exceptional.

We enjoyed another fantastic lunch at Oskar Blues yesterday! Service was awesome as usual. We loved the Silo Burger, Salmon Salad and the Caesar Salad. All delicious! Great on tap beer selection as well! Highly recommend!

The beer is great. The menu is very limited. Service is good. The ambience is funky.

Great food but took quite a while to get it to the table. Greeter and wait staff are very nice though. Highly recommend the jambalaya! Perfect amount of spice and good flavor! My wife had the wings and fried pickles and both were really good too! Kids Mac and cheese is served in a nice crock and is real Mac and cheese not cheap boxed kind! Great food as advertised! Will be back for sure.

My visit last summer was fine. There was no indoor dining at that time; you just walked up to the window and ordered and sat outside. I left a 4-star review for that visit. Fast-forward to my latest visit, in early July. My husband and I showed up around 7 for dinner. We drove up and saw an upper patio area and wanted to sit there. The host told us it was full and that we could sit on the lower patio and order everything at the bar. We walked down there, and it was completely full. We went back to the host and said we would sit inside. He took us to a table that was right next to the door to the upper patio. We could see empty tables outside, so I asked what was up; he already told us it was full yet there were tables available. He said he didn't know why but he was told not to seat anyone else out there. Just then, I overheard who was apparently supposed to be our server *loudly and sarcastically* say "Well *I* just got quadruple seated!" in a very annoyed tone. Needless to say, that comment was extremely off-putting, as he was clearly not happy that he had a few new tables at once. He did not want to wait on us, and the restaurant did not want us taking an outdoor table. At that point we got up and left. There was no way we were going to stay under those circumstances. We ended up going to La Mariposa and had excellent, friendly service. I wasn't even going to update my review on Yelp. HOWEVER, I sent a message (via their website under the "contact" section) a couple days later, asking for some clarification on the seating issue and mentioning the unprofessional behavior of our would-be server, and NO ONE ever responded. Terrible customer service. Never again.

Order outside and take a number to your table. Large indoor seating and shady outdoor seating. This location is the original so it was a must-do for us. Beers were Oskar beers. We were surprised at how tasty the shrimp etouffee was. You're seemingly in the middle of nowhere when up pops the Oskar brewery with super delicious etouffee. So I'd say that's a win. Also check in with Yelp gets you a free beer.

Could have been a better visit. Took almost 20 minutes to get greeted. Thankfully the server greeted us with waters. She was very friendly. Not sure if she was too busy or short staffed. I ordered my food to be cooked medium and it came out well done. Unfortunately I didn't see the server again until she brought the bill. It is what it is I guess there. Thankfully it was the best we'll done burger I've had. Also charging your guests for cost of living wage isn't right. You change your menu prices or something. Not a KLW fee. The server being friendly and polite was the only saving grace here.

Well let me tell you what atrocious service we received. We sat for 20 minutes while Server after server would look at us and smile but not stop at our table. Finally we went up to the bar to order a beer. They were not busy and seemed to have plenty of staff. WTF?

Excellent brews and food!!! Both the French fries and sweet potato fries are great, you do really have to love sweet potato if you get the sweet potato fries and they are less battered than the French fries. Great vibe here!

Popes in for lunch on a Wednesday. Sat immediately by very friendly staff. Lots of options for food. Delicious beers and clean restaurant. My burger was deliciously cooked over an open flame and the barbecue sauce was out of this world. I have no complaints and this crew strongly earned a 5/5. Thanks for a great lunch y'all!!

Now, this is my kind of Grill & Brew. It's the kinda place that'll make you feel happy with the blues. If I lived closer, I'd probably be here much more often. They had me with the beer and the bbq with sweet fries and a side salad made for the perfect meal after a full day on the trail. Had to try both the brisket and pulled pork. I'd get both again. The sweet potato fries were't super plentiful but I'd say it was just the right amount with everything else. The beers here are predictably good and there's a good variety for whatever style you like. Plenty of room inside and even more outside if it's that time of year. Needless to say, I'd recommend this place.

I thought this place was supposed to be fun. According to the recent reviews it musta gone downhill. We stopped on the way back to Erie from Allenspark because we were having a fun day and thought we'd grab a beer. We ordered beers and they arrived in cans. Isn't this a brewery? Why is the beer in a can and not on tap?? We could've stopped at the liquor store and had THAT experience. We just left after that 1 beer. We could tell it wasn't a good place to order food and after reading some of these other reviews, we were right. Decor was junky and bathrooms were gross, no toilet paper. Our waitress seemed burnt out and tired, not real eager to have another table, like we were bothering her. I think the only reason there was anyone there at all is that it's the only bar in town, that we saw, anyway. Why else would you bother? I'm guessing everyone else was there for the first time like we were, because I can't imagine being a return patron. You'd have to have zero class and zero standards to think this place was worthy of your time and money. Lyons needs more choices. It's such a cool town but zero hospitality is just weird. I've always heard that Lyons locals hate newcomers, so maybe this is their way of keeping people away. Welp, it worked! We definitely won't be stopping here again! It must only be patronized
