Google
Despite some good food and the kindness of the staff, I need to rate one star this place because espresso is acid. How could someone like to drink such a taste. Looks like a marketing decision to oblige to buy sweet food to clear the taste espresso leaves in your mouth. Which is not exactly what the concept of espressio is.

Niklas Dominick

Google
The espresso is solid but not special. Service is friendly but not exceptional. The ambiance is very rough and not super cozy. I’m really unsure what I should think of the absence of ceramic cups it kinda makes the whole coffee experience a bit cheap. Prices are fair.

Irina Barski

Google
There is no laptop policy that you only find out once you get your drink. I rarely work in cafes but on a Sunday I really wanted to have a coffee in a public place, drink my coffee and reply to my emails. I won’t be back and I don’t recommend the place.

Adela

Google
The service was friendly and quick. The interior is nice, but there are no hooks for coats. Guests have to place their jackets next to them, which limits the space for more customers. The coffee was average. Plastic cups for coffee were interesting. I prefer natural ceramic mugs when dine in. My friend ordered an Earl Grey tea, which was served well.

Darshan Gajara

Google
The coffee was extremely delicious and silky smooth. Their barista has got some real talent. Their serving cups are also quite unique. They're light as feature and look very aesthetic. They told me it's made out of recycled plastic and coffee.

Google
Best spot in the area, with excellent coffee and pastries, and lovely staff! Perfect location in front of the park, with a nice little bench to chill outside! And they’re dog friendly! So my dog can take me there to have a cup of coffee and a slice of cake if I ask loud enough! Can’t woofait for the next time!

Michaela Matokova

Google
Me and my friend enjoyed out visit to the cafe. The staff was lovely and the no laptop policy created a very nice atmosphere. Will definitely be coming again:)

Andrea B.

Google
Good coffee and some nice vegan pastries (sometimes even savory ones!). The interior is cozy, which is a nice change from all the minimalist cafes. Has a lovely bench to sit outside, although it's often already taken. No laptops allowed.

Yelp
I liked this place. It had a cool vibe. I loved the no laptop or tablet policy. I had a flat white and some pastries and everything was delicious. It was a nice find.

Cyrill G.

Yelp
This location should not be on the "work friendly" list here. They have a strict no Laptop policy and no outlets. Not work friendly though. But the coffee is good.
google avatar

Yelp
This might just be my favorite cafe that I have been too. Not only does it smell of pine trees, but it is the perfect place to come and get work done. The servers have always been kind and nice to talk to, and the coffee excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and good for being productive. If you're lucky, you might get a table with a plug-in. I haven't tried the pastries, but they made the whole place smell amazing, so I would bet that they are also very good.

Yelp
Creamy rich coffee in Mitte. Oslo Kaffebar has a real lodge feel that gives locals and travelers alike a place to recharge. Love their selection of record players, friendliness of staff, and of course the coffee!

Yelp
I visit this place often. Super nice employees! Food runs out early but super fresh pastries are available for the most part of the day as they bake them on site. Great tea and perfect coffee. They welcome anyone with a laptop\book\meeting and the place has plenty of outlets to charge your devices. Would definitely recommend. GOOGLE TRANSLATE DE- Ich besuche diesen Ort oft.

Yelp
Very nice cafe with wifi, slightly student/hipster vibe. Wifi is real, free wifi, not these social media wifi deals that want your Facebook login and that are common around Berlin. Much of the place is set up as small tables (optimal for one or two people to use a laptop), and ther is a large common high table in the back. Oslo Kaffeebar has a short list of coffee drinks, which they make well. Service is polite and efficient. My friend had the chai latte, which she said was good though a tad sweet. I had the milchkaffee. They don't have decaf, but they do have teas and some noncaffeinated drinks.
google avatar

Robbie I.

Yelp
Splendid little coffee shop with a great atmosphere. Love to come here to work. 5/5 can recommend Oh yes, and their gluten-free vegan deserts are excellent. And the coffee too.

Yelp
Opened in July 2012, Oslo Kaffebar is the answer to the lackluster amount of quality coffeeshops in the Nordbahnhof area. It's super new but already gaining a lot of attention and traction. The inside is light, super woods-y (perhaps evoking the Norwegian heritage of the owners?) and clean... there are plans for expansion to a vinyl section as well. On that note, the music on the speakers most of the time is pretty good and helps create a nice atmosphere. As for the coffee? Purely delicious. The roast is a special blend/collaboration with Bonanza, and they do it right, even making eiskaffee that is with ice cubes, not ice cream... the latte art is pretty good too. There are still a few kinks they need to work out to settle in, but overall, the place is a real winner. I hope to be getting coffee here well on into the unforeseeable future.
google avatar

Roxy V.

Yelp
Super sweet spot. Chill atmosphere. :) Coffee was great the first time 5/5. The second time I went on a Saturday and the taste was still great but the milk streaming was not so good. I'd try to go now only during the week.... I like cappuccinos when there was love put into the process of milk streaming and the cappuccino has a real consistent texture. Also the chocolate cake that they had only during the week is..... To die for... Still dreaming about it!

Yelp
Came here Sunday afternoon to get some reading done. Neatly tucked away from the busy touristy areas, the place has a rustic feel. It wasn't overly crowded. There were others with their laptops, getting work done and chatting with friends. One of the two baristas spoke fluent English (yay!), which I haven't experienced anywhere else in Berlin. Their menu has ratios of expresso and milk, instead of a traditional menu. I got the 1:3, which I was told was basically a latte. I'm cautious to use the word best to describe anything, but it was the best latte I've ever had. It had the rich and creamy texture of the steamed milk, but not at the expense of the expresso. Oh, if you're dining in, you can pay as you leave. Or "whenever you want to." I also saw many people coming and and out taking coffee togo. And there's a small playground/park area right across the street. Pros: Friendly atmosphere Fluent english Limited outlets Free wifi Latte was amazing
google avatar

Sarah T.

Yelp
ok place.. limited outlet good wifi coffee was just ok .. although a wide variety was offered. Friendly service but the hot food was sold off pretty fast.

Yelp
Great spot to serve as a respite after a long day at the flea market or spending time at the Berlin Wall Memorials. Great coffee, great vibe, non-dairy options, hip interior and service was very good. Ordered the cappuccino with oat milk. The latte art was lovely and more importantly the coffee was delicious. Wifi is available. Outlets are also available on the side seating area and there look to be plenty of them, though I wouldn't say this is the kind of place you come to just to work all day, though I'm sure you could. It is to and from some great spots, songs a great place to pop into and get a beat on your next adventure. Would recommend and would come back for sure.

Yelp
BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE EVER! Stopped by here after visiting the Berlin Wall Monument for a coffee break. I was feeling a bit hungry and the cookie seemed like a good choice. Typically cafe cookies aren't that great being that they sit out uncovered but this one was amazing! Gooey chocolate, soft center and crispy outside, this is what a cookie should be! I also ordered a macchiato latte that came at a perfect temperature to accompany my cookie. Staff guys are nice and speak English too. Chill vibe and nice place to take a break. (Sorry no cookie photo I devoured it real quick!)

Yelp
Little cafe hidden in Mitte, near Nordbahnhof. I simply love this place with their raw wooden furniture, their roasts and the music they play. The staff is very nice and passionate about what they're doing. Coffe served in cups made of used ground coffee beans is the cherry on top!
google avatar

Zeynep K.

Yelp
Really great coffee and space to regroup after a visit to Berlin Wall memorial.

Yelp
Early in the morning, Berlin matches it's strength in beer gardens with some excellent coffee shops. At Oslo Kaffebar, the brewed beverages are top notch and match anything from Brooklyn or Oslo. The baristas know their stuff and craft intensely flavored drinks with ease so even with a line, the wait is never too long.
google avatar

Anula G.

Yelp
I love coffee here and the atmosphere, and the minimalistic wooden interiors. Wifi works well too. The only thing I miss is more fresh fruit or veggies to eat/drink. Food choice is limited to bread and wheat-based options.

Yelp
After touring quite a few of Berlin's best coffee spots, Oslo Kaffeebar is my favorite. It combines great coffee and a relaxed, inviting décor into an atmosphere that draws you in to stay for two (or more!) drinks. They further this desire with unlimited filter coffee for only €2.50. Oslo uses beans roasted locally by The Barn, so you get their well-known quality in a much more inviting atmosphere, complete with free wifi. I also like and appreciate their simple, yet informative, menu. It lists their drinks by name along with the drink's espresso-to-milk ratio. Prices are cheaper than the other top coffee houses. The baristas speak English well, and there is a restroom. I ordered a cappuccino (1:2 ratio) and it was smooth and flavorful, not too acidic and not too fruity. My wife ordered the chai latte and was also pleasantly surprised - it was crafted with latte art like the cappuccino and tasted like a mix between chai powder and liquid chai. Flavorful and full-bodied but not too sweet. It's a full service coffee house that does everything very well in a hip, third wave fashion!
google avatar

Katelyn M.

Yelp
My absolute favorite coffee shop in Berlin! The coffee and sweets are delicious, the staff are extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is lively but at the same time, quiet enough to get work done. There is plenty of space to sit, and they welcome patrons to come in and stay a while. They usually just have sweets to eat, but around lunch time they usually have a selection of inventive sandwiches that sell like hot cakes! It's expecially friendly to those who don't speak German, as the staff members either speak almost flawless English or are from countries where English is their first language. I highly recommend making Oslo your go to coffee stop!

Noëlie L.

Yelp
This place is a very nice spot with good coffee and good food. We tried the filtered coffee which was very soft and good. It was served into some light cup made from coffee beans if I understood it right. It was really weird at first to drink into such a light cup but it was a really interesting material and we're now thinking about buying the same at home. The food was great too, I tried the banana bread which was moist and nice. We were pretty disappointed by the brownie though. There was a sort of jelly on top of it and we had to remove it. The people who work there were nice and smiling. The atmosphere is relaxed and children friendly, the interior design is really well made and makes you feel comfy. I would probably go back next time I'll be in Berlin !

Yelp
We spent a great deal of time here while living in Berlin for three months, one year ago. It was our favorite cafe to drink coffee, hang out, read, study and meet friends. We met a lot of people there! Including the owners, who are especially obsessed with all things coffee. Really nice pastries. Great music.
google avatar

Tobia C.

Yelp
Lovely place! Great coffee and sweets!! Recommended!! Possible to work with your laptop inside! Also lil area outside just to hang out under the sun!
google avatar

Hans L.

Yelp
Three stars as the guys seemed nice. The coffee had a weird taste, and the cappuccino was espresso with hot milk, no froth at all. I've had much better in B given the thing also cost me 3.20 and I was only able to pay with cash...
google avatar

Ren L.

Yelp
Coffee lovers! Rejoice! I love this place, it's a bit tucked away near Nordbahnhof, but oh so handy for that Sunday morning coffee. They use Bonanza and The Barn coffee here so from that you know its tasty. But what I love most is the atmosphere inside. It has so much more room than Bonanza. There are sofas, records, a bookshelf with books, it just feels like you could chill and read there for ages. (I was so tempted last time but alas had to go about the rest of our day) Ooo must not forget to mention the tasty tasty pastries they have there too! Oh so moreish, croissants and pain au chocolats. A must try if you ever happen to stop by!

Yelp
I love this coffee shop! Always have the best indie music.

Yelp
There's coffee shops and then there's oslos A friend and I have traveled all around europe the past few months and so far Oslo's was the best coffee shop we managed to find in europe so far. We came here a few days in a row while we were in Mitte and tried a few drinks each day and were extremely impressed. The cappuccinos and macchiatos were perfect. The people who worked there were super friendly as well and didn't mind us using our laptops and sitting there all day. When I die I want to be buried in Oslo's kaffebar cookies. 5/5, if you are in Berlin and want good coffee and cookies go to Oslo's. -Best coffee in Berlin -Great wifi -Amazing cookies
google avatar

Lee M.

Yelp
Loved this place. Great coffee and baked goods. Free WiFi and very friendly staff. They also have oat milk substitute. But the friendly welcoming staff gives it the 5 stars!
google avatar

Marcus L.

Yelp
google avatar

Mohammed G.

Yelp
A small cafe filled with laptop-carrying clientele, and you can indeed get work done there, just make sure you go before place is crowded. Service is friendly and good food is on offer. Staff has a nice taste in music too ;)

Sarah H.

Yelp
Probably one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. Great space to get things done. Their oat milk lattes are the thing to order!
google avatar

Kyle M.

Yelp
Best coffee I've had in Berlin so far. Really friendly staff and they all speak English. Also the cinnamon roll is amazing. 10/10 would recommend.
google avatar

Sheryl L.

Yelp
Came here on Saturday, it wasn't so full because it was right after lunch. It's so conveniently placed next to my apartment. I know very little German so I was extremely grateful the employees were fluent in English. When I went in 2 male baristas were speaking English, so I ordered in English. Then one of the baristas asked if I wanted cookie dough and kindly offered me some. Everyone there was extremely helpful and friendly. They also have free wifi and a nice environment. Great service and quality drinks!
google avatar

Ben A.

Yelp
Definitely one of the better cafes in Mitte. Very solid coffee and the croissants never disappoint. Love the nitro coffee, just wish it came in a bit larger size. Also beware that it can get get a bit backed up around the morning rush if you're looking for coffee to go.
google avatar

Shikha S.

Yelp
Love this place! They play the best music (last time I came, they were playing the Midnight Marauders album in honor of Phife Dawg's death). They also had the best, most fresh and soft, perfectly sweet and nutty chocolate chip cookie I've ever tasted. Not to mention, you can select which roast of coffee bean you want from two origins, something that is a little on the rarer side in Berlin! I ordered in broken German because I'm not too good, and when I went to go sit down, the barista was imitating me with the next customer which was not very nice..... anyways, vibe of the bar is great, cookies are great, and coffee is good!

Yelp

Gia R.

Yelp
great espresso drinks but our avocado beets sandwich was just okay. Just get coffee and pastries here.

V. B.

Yelp
This place sounded a bit out of the way and neat in a less traveled corner of Mitte so I went to check it out. The venue is cool, and has a Scandinavian vibe, with lots of natural sunlight, light wood, comfortable seating. The coffee was great, fresh and bursting with flavor. One of the best I had in Berlin. Various coffee prep methods are available too. However, I heard lots of American voices here. Like most Berlin coffee shops, it seems to be an expat hangout. I just wonder where the Germans go: Starbucks? Einstein? Sorry, I digress. Service was friendly and it was a pleasant experience overall. Free wifi also.

Radwa M.

Yelp
My best cup of cappuccino in Berlin so far! The WiFi is stable, and the stuff are nice. Nice place to enjoy a coffee and read or work on your laptop for a couple of hours. 1 star less for limited outside seating and not much variety of food options.

T D.

Yelp
Place had nice ambience. Ordered a large cappuccino to go. Spent €3.20 only to end up with a small coffee, a strong latte. It didn't come with the chocolate sprinkles on the froth that a cappuccino is supposed to come with it. That's why it's called a cappuccino. It may be a German thing not to add the chocolate sprinkle. However, I saw the larger take away cup and looking at the small coffee I ended up with that wasn't a cappuccino. I felt ripped off.
google avatar

Juha R.

Yelp
Great coffee, good service and a neat looking cafe. I highly recommend.
google avatar

Omar A.

Yelp
This is a great place, nice to chill out and meet people or just read a book. Staff is super friendly and has become my go to place to start my morning before touring Berlin
google avatar

Jasson S.

Yelp
Very friendly staff and great coffee with nice places to sit and chat both inside and out. The baked goods are a limited but good. My only complaint is that they run out of items quickly.
google avatar

Anna J.

Yelp
A hidden hipster cafe offering great coffee and the most delicious chocolate croissants. And who can say no to free wi-fi? I wish it was a tad cozier tho.
google avatar

M B.

Yelp
Great for working. High quality beans. They have decaf too. Not a large range of food, very few GF options. But that's fine.

Alex P.

Yelp
This is one of the best coffee shops I've been to ANYWHERE. They always have two espresso to choose from, nice selection of filter coffee from local roasters and the BEST cookies you will find anywhere in Europe. The ambiance is also great, with fast internet, lots of tables and stools as well as power adapter to charge your laptop and get work done. They also have a large assortnment of Tea's and use HARIO equipment and a top notch espresso machine. On top of all this, the Staff is extremely nice and even treated me and my friends to some good as we had been regular guests for the week or so we were in berlin
google avatar

Rock S.

Yelp
Great coffee shop with down to earth staff, oldies rock playing and some of the best tasting coffee. Had the full plate breakfast dish which resembled a Swedish blend of cheeses and bread tomatoes and cucumber. Was a definite hit to the wife and I.

Adrian V.

Yelp
Great but unpretentious coffee, pleasant music and a relaxed atmosphere. Small food selection when I was there (early afternoon), but what they had was well put together.
google avatar

Larry E.

Yelp
Great flat white, croissant, music and staff! Plenty of indoor seating and they offer wifi.
google avatar

Dave B.

Yelp
Chill atmosphere, friendly staff and (of course) great coffee next to a park.
