Oslo Youth Hostel Haraldsheim

We came as a family of 4 and it was amazing. It felt like we were in a different city than Oslo while in Oslo. Rooms were great and the breakfast had a lot of variety. The staff was amazing and so helpful. They were fast and understanding. We even got a breakfast pack because we were leaving early in the morning.

Easy to get to by public transport. Facilities are good, and wholesome breakfast available. Comfortable bed with facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful. They guided me on the places to go to, how to get there, how things work in Norway, and about the people and culture there. Will recommend it happily .

It was perfect stay for young girls. I went with my friend. Safety is also really good and the hostel is located in a hill area. It has such nice view. So so beautiful. The room was very clean and they gave us new and clean bed linens and towels. The bathroom has everything, you just have to bring the toothbrush and toothpaste. They got the soap for you as well. We had the breakfast in the morning and it was so good as well. The shared kitchen is equipped with everything. You have to take the bus or a tram to get in there from the central station but it's worth it. If you buy the 24hrs ticket pass you can travel using tram or bus. And you can use the pass to go around the city. It's a superb place to stay. Very safe, very beautiful, very clean. The staff was very polite as well.

I had a great time and fun here. Oslo is a wonderful city with incredible nature. I really liked the hostel facilities and hospitality. Toilets and showers were clean. The kitchen was very comfortable to use. Staff were helpful. I hope I will have the opportunity to visit Oslo again.

It's a metro ride from Oslo City centre, and a little hike to and from the metro station, but very cool and secure neighbourhood. For a hostel the facilities are great, very good and rich breakfast, and their kitchen is the best hostel kitchen I've seen so far, it simply has everything you need.

The place is a bit far from the city center, but it’s worth — you can easily reach it by public transport and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. The bathroom is clean and bright, with some unique hanging hooks that caught my eye. Breakfast was included, simple but enough to start the day. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing stay!

Generally, I've had an okay experience here - the rooms are good size, the breakfast is solid too I do have two criticisms though 1. In my room, the soap and toilet paper dispensers kept falling open as they seemed to be broken and the trash cans lid was not attached to it anymore either 2. If you need another towel, it costs 20kr. Considering you only get one towel when you arrive, this is a big issue for people who stay longer than a few days. Other than that I was quite satisfied, I would've really liked to give 4 or 5 stars but especially the towel thing just kinda upset me

I spent only one night in this hostel. I paid 481 nok and I stayed in the female dorms. Pros 👍 * Good breakfast with diversity which I enjoyed a lot🥚🥒🍹🧀🐟 * Nice area with nice seatings and chess board outside ♟️ * A big kitchen which is helpful for storing food or cooking 👩🏻‍🍳 * The toilets are clean 🚽 Cons 👎 * The towel I received wasn't clean and the cover my friend received was moldy!!⚠️ * The dorm area was so small that it's hard to find a space for your belongings at the floor. * Half of the shower cabin doors were broken and there was only one sink in the shared bathroom!! Overall with the bathroom situation and the unclean towel, it was hard to stay there longer.
