"In Oslo, you can take a fjord cruise, visit the Viking Ship Museum, and try cross-country skiing or sledding at Korketrekkeren. Frognerseteren cafe offers views of Oslofjorden and serves traditional Norwegian treats." - Travel + Leisure Editors
This is a truly great fjord. A fjord is basically a long, narrow, deep inlet of the sea between high cliffs, as in Norway. Looking at this fjord from Oslo is pretty nice but I think they you'll only experience it properly by taking a cruise through it. Don't forget to make fjord-puns as you travel through it

Beautiful Light
As a photographer I was pleased, maybe even amazed, by the light in Oslofjord. The sky, the clouds, the landscape, water as well as traditional or modern architecture on shore are part of a special blended landscape you can see only here.
