I was offered less than half the real price of what I was selling to them and since we were both Iranians and I read so many good reviews online before going there, I totally trusted the salesperson, but when I came out I saw the receipt they gave me did not mention the gold purity or weight so I went back in and asked for and explanation and of course I knew something was wrong so I asked for my jewelry back and sold it at a fair price in Abacor. It is true that I asked for cash because on your website you say you would pay cash for under 5000 euros to foreigners but even this was not true and that is why I strongly recommend people to avoid this place at all costs.

Unfortunately I was mistreated by the saleswoman at the store. I am a vintage buyer and was excited to get a new piece to represent this so much planed and dreamed vacation. However, she was incredibly inpatient and even rude when I tried to ask questions about the jewelry. I couldn’t even tell her what I was looking for… It got me disappointed because I am sure there are incredible pieces inside…

It was such a pleasure to work with Osprey, they let me take the time in choosing the right item. I was never rushed. The choices and price I got was reasonable. Thank you for being so patient and helpful.

Beautiful selection of unique pieces. I love vintage and was thrilled to find a place. The customer service was warm and friendly and extremely knowledgeable.

My Fiancé and I stumbled upon Osprey during our travels to Paris from Canada. We were pleasantly surprised by the selection and customer service at the shop and were able to create our own engagement ring together from a large selection of diamonds in our budget. We were so thrilled to pick up a one-of-a-kind piece from Osprey, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to create a forever jewelry piece of their own. Shop owner is extremely knowledgeable and we enjoyed working with him. The VAT (tax) refund and receipts was also much appreciated when making a larger travel purchase.

Lady who runs the shop is extremely rude. She had a large amount of inventory in plastic boxes and bags and was frustrated because I couldn't decide in two minutes what to select for thousands of dollars. She then said she was too busy to show me anymore after giving me at best 5 minutes of her time. I guess I wasn't a serious enough buyer for her. I came on a trip specifically to collect antique jewelry, but so rude to expect me to just pick from the first thing she shows me. Absolutely stuck up shop. I'm not surprised by the owners comments below. Insulting me and my husband in his review below. We are both entitled to review the rudeness we experienced. Telling us we have "sad lives" further proves my point. You should sell exclusively online if you can't act humanely towards others. I am not a competitor. I was hoping to be a customer.

Poor service, snobbish attitude and service. They have a lot of fancy jewelry, but nothing unique that you can't find anywhere else and I would definitely go anywhere else but here. The owners have received several reviews describing the poor service and rudeness, but clearly don't care.

Mr & I were trying to get away form the crowds on rue Rivoli when we happened upon rue St Honoré & saw the lovely windows of Osprey. Offering new creations & antiques alike, we were drawn inside by 2 pairs of earrings - one with opals and one with emeralds The shop has 2 areas to be unlocked - one to gain access to the shop where we can make inquiries and another secure area to actually try on the jewelry I ended up choosing a new, original creation with opals and given they also offer VAT-free shopping. Needed original paperwork back with the Customs Stamp (as the German airport did not have the automated VAT refund software) but processed the refund immediately once they received the physical forms. We were told the French airports can run the customs form under a bar-code scanner & the refund is processed electronically Definitely worth a repeat visit & lovely people to deal with. After seeking out 3 places for an engagement ring during our recent trip to Paris, I came across Osprey Jewelers. Mike was kind enough to give a variety of options which my now fiancé did appreciate. The time alone was worth it! From traditional to custom to classical.....Osprey Jewelers has what your looking for. If you are in Paris I would recommend them for any of your fine jewelry needs...they took the time to walk us thru the ins and outs of purchasing jewelry in a foreign country. If you are looking for a particular piece of jewelry or just want to search for something that you did not know you wanted, look at Osprey! They have so many beautiful things, new and antique. The owners are wonderful and patient and knowledgable and will help you find the perfect piece. I was looking for a locket charm and I was able to look thru hundreds to find the perfect one! This shop will be my first stop when I return to Paris!!

I cannot overstate how wonderful our experience at Osprey was. We were looking for an art-deco style ring for our engagement and were somewhat at a loss. We feel so fortunate that we checked out Osprey first! Mike was extremely helpful and spent significant time showing us many rings and answering our many questions. We walked away with the perfect ring and smiles on our faces! I highly recommend Osprey!

Excellent shop, large range, great service, lovely people!

I had been searching fot a treasured piece since 2006 and was informed by a friend that the piece was at Osprey in Paris. After reaching out via email, Mike reached out and informed me they did have the jewel in question. He was extremely patient with me as I had many questions. And spoke no French. We reached the point where I sent a wire in Euros(do yourself a favor if you've never done this and google French banking terms) and itvwas received and voila! I was the proud owner of a fabulous French Scarab pendant. Mike was amazing and sent tracking and made sure I received it in a timely manner. Totally legit. Totally safe and I'm even considering a second piece. I would definitely do business with them again. Piece was better then expected.

Ich habe diesen Laden mehrmals besucht und ich bin begeistert. Die Beratung ist wunderbar und man füllt sich als Kunde sehr wohl.
