The long walk is definitely worth it. The restaurant is basically at the base of the steep slope facing the big crater so right after the sunset, the show begins with beautiful bursts of dancing fires! Imagine being able to sit and relax with a glass of wine and admire the force of nature. The restaurant is very nice. Food is really good although a bit pricey. I have found some of the stuff a bit in rush and we haven't been able to ask everything we wanted cause the guy ran away. Overall a very nice experience!

First things first. Make sure you have plenty of battery life on your phone, you will need the torch function to light your path down. There is no light on the path. If you have no torch you cannot get back down to civilisation. Secondly it's a bit of a trek to the restaurant, about 25 to 30 minutes from the closest point that taxis can get you. Thirdly, go later when it's nearly dark. The volcanic explosions are more spectacular in the dark. Food is good, especially the pizza. Your footwear will be covered in black dust

Absolutely amazing place for dinner but book in advance. Considering the location and the spectacle of seeing the eruptions our bill was such good value, for 4 people, 2 courses, cocktails and wine was 160 Euros and the food was excellent as was the service . No visit to Stromboli would be complete without a visit to this restaurant!!

A must go when you visit stromboli, for the view. Food is good, experience to go uo by foot or with the small van is cool. I would recomand to go before sunset to enjoy the view for qperitivo. Food was ok+ but waiting tile to get a table was long far too long. I think they need to organize better to get more satisfied customers. Last but not least, when going for paying, no gsm and internet conexion. They claim no to have wifi but they have but do not share password… strange in 2021 to act like that. So lucky the one who does not have cash and is willing to pay with the phone. He will get free meal/dinner 🤣 My experience here in MMM 2021 View/location: 🌅 🌅 🌅 🌅 🌅 (amazing) Coffee: ☕️ (not tested) Food: 🍏 🍏🍏🍏 (great pizza i had) Food type: 🍆🍳🥩 All kinds (vegan options and vegetarian options) Service kindness: 🤵‍♀️🤵‍♀️🤵‍♀️ (good) Service speed: 🛺 🛺 🛺 🛺 (slow) Clean: 🧼 🧼🧼🧼🧼 (clean) Price: 💰💰 💰 (fairly ok for such location)

It’s pretty hard to arrive in there but once you’re there, you get rewarded with a beautiful view of the vulcano and the ambient in general is just amazing. The younger servers are super friendly. The good was great, so many options to choose from fish based and also not. The prices are a bit high but the portions are BIIIIG and seeing where you’re sitting and eating and after all that climbing it’s worth it in my opinion. The chocolate salami is delicious - something to try! Oh also, the little cat going around chilling with you definitely brings more points to the whole stuff lol. Loved it!

You usually need to book in advance. I called them and it was a smooth process. We had a pizza, pasta, their house wine and cannoli. It was about 40eur altogether. So, while prices are a bit higher, they're not outrageously high. Everything was delicious. Pizza is made in a wood oven, don't pay too much attention to some bad reviews here, I was almost discouraged by them. And of course best of all - the view. While we also hiked the volcano and saw it from the boat, it's awesome to watch the eruptions while dining. During the dinner we saw at least 5 eruptions, some bigger, some smaller.

We had dinner at this place. It is worth every penny/cent you pay(a bit more expensive than regular Italy), but the location and overall experience is worth it. Food was very good (linguine con gamba e pomodori, and sword fish with grilled veggies). Desserts as well. Staff friendly and efficient. The navette to the village below an experience in its own. But the cherry on the cake is the dinner under the regular lava explosions of Stromboli, which was not shy the evening we were there. Our 5 year old was mesmerised as were we. Definitely a place to visit when in Stromboli. Booking mandatory. No photos of the actual eruptions, because we were too amazed to pick up our phones. Enjoy and thank you to owners and staff for an unforgettable evening.

The food is good, but with all honesty you don't come here for the food, you come here for the view! And watching the eruptions of Stromboli while having a wine is absolutely worth it!
