Despite horrible reviews of this place on Google, I booked a bed and started worrying. However, it was not justified. Hostel has weird opening hours, you can check in only after 3 pm, and it closes at 11 pm. Contrary to what I've read here, it does not mean you cannot get back into your room after 11 pm. You just need to ask for a front door key and leave your document/ID for insurance. The receptionists speak English fluently and are polite. You pay only 20 EUR per night for a shared room located merely 10 minutes walk from the center of the center (that also includes breakfast!). Everything is old and a bit dirty, so if you are easily disgusted, bring flip flops, your pillowcase and towel (no towels are provided). There is a snack vending machine available, hair dryer is built in in one bathroom. Good value for money. Pros: - location - you are in the historic center already and in 10 minutes easy walk you are in the heart of the city - price - 20 EUR (that's practically free of charge) - free breakfast - yes, it is "military", but satisfying - you get 1 bagel, 1 brioche, 1 marmelade, 1 butter, 1 choco cream, glass of juice and coffee/tea - staff speaks English and answers the phone when you call - quiet during the night Cons: - everything is old and dirty (bathrooms are falling apart, however are still usable); looks like a WWII dormitory - not a party hostel - it's a place to crash, nothing else - no towels provided, no hairdryer except the one built in the wall of one bathroom, which is quite weak, but ok, still works - wifi did not work However, it's all ok. Hostel is not hotel and I don't think this place should have such a bad reputation on Google.

It's a typical dormitory, nothing special. The beds were okay, the bathrooms not really, we got what we expected. BUT We were 50 people, and they gave us only three keys for the main door, that was closed after 23.30. The last morning we had to pay 50 €, because they thought that we had four keys for the main door, but indeed we had use only three... The "lady" was not helpful at all, and she was swearing in Italian, blaming us losing one keys what we never owned... The breakfast was not various and nor enough. I would say this place has only two benefits: it's cheap, and close to the center, but it was a big disappointment. :/

No towels even though their website stated they had them for hire. Wifi only in lounge area. They shut down in the middle of the day so you are in or out. Website states they have luggage storage but if you need your bags for a train in the middle of the day you can't utilize the luggage storage because no one is there to give you your bags back. Locks on lockers in rooms don't work.

The heat in the shower didn't work, the rooms were too cold, breakfast was bad, wi-fi was limited to basically the lobby, staff was rude, dead bugs in the room, blankets were itchy, walls were too thin and you could overheard your neighbors talking. It only gets one star because they had a cheap vending machine.

Basic. God location. Clean. Good beds. A backyard for my motorbike. Breakfast is only ...fast. You get what you pay for in italian quality. But whats to expect when its an ex. nun chloister...

No Wifi ,No tv, roms are like in hospital, in bathroom they don't have towels, you have to be in the hostel until 23:00 or else you will not be in the hostel later,no matter how much you stay in the hostel at 9 o'clock you have to leave yourself but i do not know why if you paid that room

Veeery basic. You need to bring soap and towels. Rooms and bathrooms are smelly, though clean. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 8:30 h. And it's expensive (20 euros per night).

One star even much more for this hostel. Only plus is location, close to the center but maybe there are some hostels also close to center :) Hostel is full of moscitues and etc. Breakfast was just horrible, worst food which was also full of unrecognisable stuf.
