A bit hard to find and has zero wifi! Finding the hostel was a little tricky because Google Maps leads you to the back of the building which can be confusing especially at night. It would really help if the hostel added a sign or board with directions to the reception as the receptionist mentioned that many guests have had the same issue. The stay itself was okay, The beds were extremely clean and I liked that they give you fresh bedding for you to make yourself so you can see how clean everything is. There is no safe storage in the rooms so you may need to ask at reception or bring your own locks which I had. Towels are provided and breakfast is included which is impressive considering the price. I paid just £21 per night through Agoda which feels like great value for money. Overall it's alright for what I paid!

Was a bit difficult to find the place as a foreigner, but the atmosphere was nice. The bathrooms were clean, and the free breakfast every morning was good. Was at a very safe location in Torino as well (although keep in mind that it's more than half an hour away from the city centre by bus), even if I was skeptical at first as a solo-female student staying in a room with 4 beds (female only). But I had a positive experience, 5 stars.

I strongly advise travelers to reconsider staying at Ostello Torino. My experience here was deeply distressing and unacceptable. I had booked a shared 4-person dorm through a major travel platform. However, upon arrival, I was placed in a different small 2-person room that was already occupied by a long-term resident suffering from serious mental health issues—a fact confirmed the next morning by the hostel staff. Throughout the night, the resident spoke to herself and moved around the room in a way that made me feel unsafe and anxious. I was unable to sleep all night and felt too frightened to leave the room or call for help during the night. When I brought up the issue in the morning, the receptionist admitted they were aware of the situation but had still placed me in the room due to overbooking. The fact that this decision was made knowingly, without warning or consent, is unacceptable. This experience was not just uncomfortable—it was potentially dangerous. The hostel failed to provide a safe and transparent environment and demonstrated no accountability afterward. I am currently pursuing the matter through European consumer protection channels.

I had a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience at Ostello Torino Youth Hostel. One of the guests in my mixed dorm was completely naked and not covered in any way while sleeping, which made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe - especielly in a mixed-gender room and as a solo female traveler. There were no staff available during the night, eventhough I tried to call and text on their number. I had no way to report the issue or get help. That same night, the toilet was in a very unhygienic condition - with urine all over the seat and floor. In general, the cleanliness and hygiene throughtout the hostel were poor, booth in bathrooms and common areas. I also noticed that the majority of the guests were significantly older, and overall atmosphere did not reflect what you would expect from a youth hostel, as the place is advertised. I felt unsafe and decided to check out earlier than planned. When I asked for a refund for the unused nights, it was refused. I will NOT recommend this hostel to anyone, especielly not solo female travelers.

If you re girl travelling alone, I don’t recommend to go there. The location is bad, about 40 min from the city center, and the area is unsafe !!! I think it is quite weird to put a hostel at this place, considering the fact that a lot of people are travelling alone, including girls. The common areas also are quite depressive ….

Although this seems a little out of the way, it’s actually a quick 10 minute walk from the nearest train station. There is not a whole lot around so taking the train into the CBD is kind of necessary but worth it I think. These were single beds which was a pleasant surprise; although still very squeaky. There was an included breakfast in the morning consisting of cereal, croissants, rolls, and juices.

I do not advise anyone to go there. The service is very bad. It is noisy. There is one toilet for more than 10 people and it is dirty. The bathroom is together so that if we go to shower, the rest of the people have to wait. It is far from the city center. The tent is much better.

The rooms are spacious and very clean. It also serves a basic breakfast such as cereal, bread and jam.
