Truthfully, hands down the best Italian food we have ever had. There is no words to describe how hospitable the wait staff is and how tremendous the food is. Make sure you make a reservation it is in high demand. The owner is a gentleman and a service/experience oriented individual who pays attention to details.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the host where we were staying. The quality of the food was very nice, the portions though for the price was really disappointing. My octopus as a main was very small. The staff are busy so the service is very rushed. We did make reservations as its not a very big restaurant & after 8:30 it starts to get busy. It was challenging to find our way there with Google maps so we did arrive 30mins late however they were okay with it. Nice food just small servings.

Great restaurant and Matara beautiful seating outside pretty view. Great food and wine can’t say enough. I felt bad not giving it a four. I would say a solid 3.5 but definitely worth going to.

Easy one of the best dinners we had in Matera. First off, the place is beautiful, make a reservation to ensure you get a spot on the terrace, as the view is lovely. The food is delicious and the portions are quite big, so you get value for your money. We particularly loved the potato pie (this was the best part), the arancini and the pasta. The tiramisu wasn't the best, you can probably skip it. The service was good, not over the top friendly but quick and efficient. They can definitely work a bit on the music, which at times doesn't suit the atmosphere. All in all, it's a lovely place for a nice, romantic and really delicious dinner in Matera :)

Very good food. Service was nice as well. Overall, a very good dinner with a good view. I recommend. Main course prices are around 15€ up. Also, keep in mind that you might have to wait a few minutes for free tables. But i was lucky, didn’t have to wait at all

We were for for our holidays with my family and was amazing, for starters was the burrata and was really big and the bread was also really good. After we ate the ravioli and the pizza for my son and both were very good

Fantastic restaurant that we visited due to a recommendation from @errinnobrienn which was spot on. One of the best places we ate at during our 21 day Italian vacation. The Burratta bread bowl was incredible. The Cavatelli with mushrooms and sweet peppers may be the best pasta I have ever had. The wine list is great and the cannoli is perfect!

A wonderful restaurant located in beautiful caves. We arrived at 7pm without reservations (recommended) and had to wait until 8pm to be seated. But it was so worth it. The food is delicious and the atmosphere provides a special experience. I ordered a mixed salad and the Parmesan ravioli with truffle sauce - SO good! For dessert, I had the white chocolate cheesecake with strawberries, which was also delicious. Highly recommend!
