As an American I was looking for a hearty and delicious authentic Italian meal, and Osteria al Duomo did not disappoint! The portions were perfect, the food was unbelievable, and the prices did not break the bank. We went 2 days in a row just because we wanted to try other things on the menu! Highly recommend!

Great family restaurant! Looks small from the outside but is actually very big and busy on the inside. They even have garden seating. The food was very deliciousa (Oysters & Clams, Black Ink Pasta, Lasagna, Panna Cotta). I think they are famous for their pizza, most people ordered it. Service was very friendly!

We were lucky that this was next to our hotel when we arrived in the evening in Murano and our hotel’s restaurant was full.
They have a big terrace in the back. We started with a calamari platter. Yum.
I don’t usually like seafood with my pasta but the paste with scampi was so fresh and yummy. The lasagna was soooo good. And I don’t know how they make margherita pizza even better but it is!
The only thing that you will notice is the bread is tasteless… just like when we were in Florence. It’s just meant to sop up the pasta sauce. I preferred using the pizza crust for that.
After eating we were blown away by the view of the Duomo (cathedral) across the bridge.
This restaurant is historic and has roots to as early as 1903 and then it became a cooperative to serve the needs of the people around the area. It was a great first bite in Murano, Venice. The seafood is so fresh.
Highly recommend this rustic place with typical Venetian meat & fish dishes + pasta & pizza.
We went back the 2nd time & we reordered many dishes. We also tried the pizza diavola and the mille feuille and it was HEAVENLY. Highly recommend.
We stayed indoors this time because of my asthma.

Apparently, it is a well-known restaurant
We found it by accident.
The outside of the restaurant is like any small vending place, at first I that that it was a place where you can buy a snack
It was a great surprise to see the interior of it it was a great surprise.
The food was great, and so was the service.

The food was good, the patio out back was nice, unfortunately the service was lacking. Bare minimum of courtesy during service and after dinner, with drinks, meals, dessert, waited for the bill. Tried getting the attention of our waiter but we'd seemingly gained the power of invisibility at that point. Thinking maybe we were supposed to get up and pay at the front we did, only to have the front counter staff admonish us for not knowing our table number, which we'd never known in the first place. Can't say I'd recommend them based on this.

Absolute Hidden Gem! Seriously the nicest and most authentic food I have had since being in Italy. I found this place accidentally on the way to another venue and Im over the moon that I did. The atmosphere was bubbly and the waiters even friendlier. Definitely a must must visit restaurant if you are on the island!

This place has a large garden to sit in for lunch which is nice but definitely felt like a tourist hub. The house white wine was great. I had the shrimp and pistachio pesto pasta. It was alright but I was expecting something a little bit lighter with less sauce/oil. Also was not expecting the full prawn buried inside the pasta based on the description. I also had the cream puffs which were not bad. Overall not a bad place but I probably wouldn’t go back.
