Small family run restaurant with excellent sea food dishes. Lovely ambiance and friendly service. We loved the fact you could watch into the kitchen where all the food was made freshly. For larger groups I would recommend coming at opening time as it is a small restaurant. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful culinary experience at this charming little restaurant. The food was excellent! I'm so glad we found a table without a reservation and discovered this delightful place. We liked the food so much that were ready to come back the next day, but unfortunately, the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays! I will definitely return on my next visit to Venice.

Osteria Alla Staffa is truly a gem in Venice, offering some of the best pasta I've ever had. I had the pleasure of trying their Pappardelle with Duck Ragu, as well as their Black Ravioli stuffed with Seabass, Ricotta Cheese, and Saffron Sauce. The pasta was cooked to perfection, perfectly al dente, and the sauces were divine. Each bite was a burst of flavor that left me wanting more. Despite its small size and limited seating, the restaurant exudes a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Luckily, I managed to find a seat upon my visit, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The space may be small, but it's kept neat and clean, adding to its charming, homely vibe. Overall, Osteria Alla Staffa is a must-visit for any pasta lover in Venice.

Cute little restraurant tucked away in the quieter side of Venice. Highly recommend the tasting starter plate of fishes, and the squid ink spaghetti... delicious! Lovely wait staff and service.

A must try in Venice! Excellent seafood antipasto, squid ink pasta, fabulous service. Limited seating so get there early or make a reservation. Fresh ingredients, good menu, & wine!

Very cozy, local and hidden place located in the beautiful area of Castello sestiere. Here they don’t take reservations so walk there and try to be lucky, it will be totally worth it. Very small restaurants with fresh fish and food in general everyday and cooked at the moment. Very good menu with not many choices but all extremely good. Considering the quality of what I got the price is very good and it ed totally worth the experience. The owner was super nice and welcoming, don’t miss this place if you can!

After trying different restaurants during our stay in Venice I can say this place is a gem! Definitely the best food for sure, the service was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant is really charming. The prices are fair compared to other places. We saw many locals and Italians which for us it’s always signal of quality when traveling. We decided to go for a 2nd time in our last night. Great way to say: Venezia see you soon!

A recommendation by our guide Georgia. We enjoyed and shared a variety of meals as a group of 7. Of particular mention was the raviolo and the antipasti which I would highly recommend. The service was incredible and the wine suggestion worked great with our food. They were incredibly patient with our group given the lack of Italian spoken!
