We had an absolutely lovely experience eating here. The food was delicious, we tried several items on the menu and all of it was really excellent! The waiter was very nice and the atmosphere is giving old school but with a hip flair to it. We forgot to get a picture of dessert, but definitely get dessert, it was excellent! We really loved it, highly recommend!

This was my favorite restaurant from my travels in Italy. I was introduced to the restaurant by my Italian language school that had arranged a cooking class there. It was interesting to see how they constructed this delicious food and the good ingredients that went into it. The Parmigiana di melanzane and the Polpette di broccoli al forno were very good. I liked it so much I went back another time.

Osteria Canali is a gem. We ate here twice and consistently 5 stars. The food is outstanding and extremely creative with flavors we never experienced but it all works beautifully ., The owner is so warm and welcoming; she makes you feel welcome and at home. Kudos to our waiter as well. Put this all together and it adds up to an incredible experience. We even made new friends as the atmosphere is so relaxed that you feel free to speak with other diners at the next table. Do not miss this place

We didn't take any food pictures this time, but we enjoyed an Anniversay dinner in the heart of Salerno. We had a sampler platter typical to the area, a bottle of DonnaLuna wine (very good), some interesting main courses and a chocolate cake with orange marmalade on one half and mint on the other. My husband liked the marmalade side and I thought the mint half was delicious.

A great place. Good, refined food and drink. Great ambience. Very reasonable price, and - what's more - friendly and knowledgeable personnel. I tried several good restaurants in Salerno, and I was very happy with all of them, but this was the best one. Highly recommended.

Loved it. The food was amazing. It is a gem. Best dinner in Italy so far... People were friendly and welcoming.
