One of the best meals I’ve had in Italy and one of the best plates of pasta I have had in a restaurant. Everything was fresh and homemade. We had the grilled swordfish and the spaghetti with swordfish, capers and olives. Everything was delicious and the servings were more than enough. Menu was very clear with English translations and allergens. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

I ordered the gnocchi, and the tomato spaghetti with basil. The gnocchi tasted like my mom used to make. Oh my God, I died and went to heaven so good.

A local recommended this as a best place to have Sicily’s signature dish pasta alla Norma.

Excellent lunch for the family. I recommend the clams and spaghetti and the spinach ravioli. Rave reviews from everyone involved. It's a short walk from the port. Take time to visit.

When we first walked in the door, the old gentlemen (owner) was sitting behind the register…granted, he was half asleep and the place was busy. LOL. The grandson was our waiter and guided us well through the menu. We ordered authentic and WE GOT IT! Family owned, fresh with locals every. It was sooo good, paired with a wonderful local wine. I HIGHLY recommend this place…moreover, caprese salad, seafood ravioli and the swordfish!! YUMMY!

It was May 2025 when we ate here and I would LOVE to have their ravioli and A canoli right now. They were so good!!!!

For a delicious meal and Messina beer on tap, check out this awesome restaurant right near the duomo! My family and I had the seafood sampler which wasn't bad--probably would not order again. We really enjoyed the Pappardelle pasta though and I highly recommend that. There doesn't seem to be too much to do in Messina but if you find yourself here for some reason, I think this is the place to be!

We were visiting Messina for the day on a cruise. Stumbled upon this gem near the Piazza Del Duomo. Had the most amazing lunch sitting outside. If you're looking for an authentic, reasonably priced and delicious restaurant, this is it! Everyone was super nice and patient with us since the menus are in Italian. Enjoy!

Really a great place! Especially in contrast to the alternatives around! The food is really tasty and also the house wine is not bad. If you around you should give it a try. It happens that you find cruise ship officers there for lunch ;)

Authentic Italian restaurant away from all of the tourists! The food here is absolutely delicious! The prosciutto crudo is amazing!

Good meal in Sicily. I seriously don't even remember the names of the food that we got. Wife's meal - Spaghetti w/ spicy tomato sauce and various seafood. Me - Spaghetti w/ Swordfish in a tomato sauce. Both meals were delicious, but my wife's meal was far superior, and I found myself eating off her place too. I believe the meal was around 25 euro w/ a bottled water, so affordable and worth it. I'd dine here again for sure. They also have free wi-fi. My wife also left her iphone here, and we came back over an hour later. They had it there waiting for us and all was good!
