We arrived at Osteria del Sotto Sale without a reservation, but the staff graciously found us a table despite being under no obligation to do so. This act of kindness set the perfect tone for the evening. The daily fish selection was absolutely exceptional incredibly fresh catches from the Mediterranean prepared with skill and passion. You could taste the quality in every bite, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to sourcing the finest local seafood. The staff was both efficient and genuinely kind, striking that perfect balance of attentive service without being intrusive. Their warmth and professionalism made the entire experience memorable. Located on Via Vittorio Emanuele, this cozy spot captures authentic Sicilian hospitality at its finest. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Favignana Just be sure to book ahead! 😅

Food was excellent, we booked a table a lot in advance since the restaurant is pretty busy. We had the tuna crocante and pasta alle vongole e pesto, both really good!! Had to wait for about 20 min to get our food, but service was nice. Thanks!

They recommended it for lunch during our boat tour. We ordered seafood pasta, pistachio pasta and meatball pasta for our son who is allergic to fish. The place is cute, the service is high quality. The seafood pasta was very good. The ingredients are rich and the taste is very good. However, what impressed us here was the pistachio pasta. A real masterpiece. We ate many meals in many regions in Sicily. We did not come across a product like pistachio pasta. We would come back to the island and visit the place just for the pistachio pasta. Sicily is already famous for its pistachio products. This cake was a great experience for us, I definitely recommend it.

We absolutely loved every dish. The pulpo tartare antipasti was the star of the night. Both of our pasta dishes were incredible, I tried the squid ragu and was amazed by it. We would be back in a heartbeat. The only little thing was that we were sitting next to the menu box so the waiters kept leaning on our backs to get them, we just wished the menus were closer to the till where the sauce display was so this can be avoidable for other people.

Absolutely delicious. Best place in Favignana together the sister gourmet restaurant, Ristorante Sotto Sale, a must try as well. We went twice to Osteria and once at the Ristorante. Staff super on point, friendly and knowledgeable. Do your self a favor and order everything in the menu :)

A lovely place for a dinner. You should book a table upfront! The starters are fabulous. The kindness of the owner is amazing. We had a really great time and enjoyed the food. Highly recommended!

We had a nice meal sitting outside on the patio area. I recommend the octopus and potato. The octopus is seasoned with olive oil and parsley sliced into small pieces and placed on top of seasoned mash potatoes. We also liked the crunch tuna. It's a thick piece of rare tuna encrusted in a crunchy fried crust. Both were excellent.
