An unforgettable experience in Florence. We shared a Bistecca alla Fiorentina made with scottona chianina, perfectly cooked juicy, tender, and full of character. Paired with a Villa Antinori 2023, the combination was simply sublime. My girlfriend’s pasta and the ossobuco, the antipasti, the fresh salads, the outstanding desserts, and even the amazing bread turned the evening into a true feast. The service from the entire staff was wonderful and unforgettable, crowned by a night of dancing, laughter, and endless toasts. More than just dinner, it was a memory to treasure forever.

Wow! Great food. The gnummi gnocchi with gnutmeg and gnuts was delicious. And the steak was astounding. The place has a family feel and the service is good.

Terrific osteria in our neighborhood. I was really impressed with the service (Thanks Nicola) the space and above all the food and mostly local wine choices from Tuscany. We had the Chianti Superiore which paired perfectly with 2 pasta primi and a bistecca secondi. I recommend the pistacchio cheesecake for dessert. One of my favorite places in Florence.

Ordered the veal with porcini mushrooms and beans on the side. The veal was not cooked properly as it barely had any char marks on it, seems like the grill was not hot enough and it was kept at a lower temperature grill for longer than necessary resulting in a medium or medium rare cook at best with little flavor, it wasn’t even seasoned. The sauce that was supposed to be porcini mushrooms definitely had small caps of other mushrooms mixed in which additionally watered down the flavor. If you see any porcinis in the market you know they aren’t tiny 2-3cm cap mushrooms. The Banfi mentalcino wine was also not poured in front of me and I suspect I got the house wine instead because it didn’t have the depth of flavor I expected. The beans at least tasted good. The waiter also without asking automatically selected to have my card payment go in USD which was the final grift of the lunch experience as they charge a much higher exchange rate than my personal card. Would not recommend going back here, there’s plenty of honest trattorias on this town that know how to cook properly.

My husband and I had the ABSOLUTE BEST service and meals here while staying in Florence for the first part of our Italy trip. We shared the Mixed Crostini for a starter. I had the Papardelle del Tegolaio al Ragu di Polpa Cinghiale e Ciocolato Ruby and it was mouth watering!!! My husband got the Tortelli Mugellani al Ragu di Salsiccia Toscana Sfumata al Chianti RiservaDocg and it was so tasty too!! Don't hesistate to stop here if you are in the area!

Turned up without a booking at 9PM on a Tuesday evening. Restaurant was quiet and very few tables taken. Food was the best we’ve experienced in Florence during our stay. The price of the ribeye steak was phenomenal for the amount you get! Overall, very very good food and reasonably priced for the quality! A hidden gem in the quiet back streets of Florence.

My professor recommended this restaurant for the carbonara and it was amazing! My friend also had the tiramisu which he recommends as well. It’s a little out of central Florence so it’s not as touristy and the food quality it better than what you can get in the city center.

Outstanding experience! The food was unbelievable! Especially loved the tartare, the spaghetti carbonara with truffles, and the pork loin. The staff was amazing, especially Anna and Mario. They were personal and professional. They made us feel like family. We had a large group, (11), and they all accommodated us flawlessly. 10/10, will definitely be back, and tell everyone I know about this until the day I die. One of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve ever had. ❤️🤌🇮🇹
