Best food we've had during our tour of Tuscany. Tuna carpaccio was outstanding.

Delicious food, very flavorful, and staff that was happy to explain all silly questions we had.

An ok restaurant, nothing impressive. I ate quite ok, but more disappointing than wow. Prices ok, I didn't leave angry, but not mega delighted either

Amazing food, amazing service, in the heart of San Gimignano. The waiters were super friendly and helpful, they also have a sommelier who's a real expert. We had a wonderful experience, definitely recommended.

Being served by the owner was really charming and he's super attentive, but I didn't like neither the truffle nor the wild boar tagliatelle. The wild boar one had more water in the sauce than meat. To be fair, the town is so touristy that who knows if there are actually better options out there.

The people who serve your food are amazingly friendly and kind. I believe that even makes the food taste better. However, food was very good on its own. The meat was absolutely amazing and tender. Pasta was also great. I highly recommend!

Relatable service that actually wanted to listen when it asked how everything was. Everything was great, the vegetables sizes were simple but just really well prepared and of decent portions. The saffron pasta very on the al dente side but had good flavours. The beans were awesome, the sauce packed authentic flavour of fresh ingredients. One of my favourite Italian meals.

Yelp
We shared the Pappardella with mushroom and truffle cream sauce, and the Italian beef in Chianti wine and onion. The food was absolutely fantastic. It tasted like a simple flavorful, and hardy home cooked meal. We plan to go back again before we leave San Gimignano. For dessert we shared the Panna Cotta with saffron and pine nuts. The staff were friendly and courteous.

Yelp
Enjoyed an "average" dinner here, nothing special and nothing to draw us back for another visit. Menu is typical of the region, most restaurants have the same 5-6 regional dishes. Because the menu is typical, prices are similar and there are so many restaurants in San Gimignano I will try another.

Yelp
We had dinner here this evening. The Osteria is on a main side street in the town of San Gimignano. They are open from 7-9pm for dinner. We had mixed feelings about the overall dinner and gave it 3. The menu looked promising and they have a nice wine selection. The bread is always a good barometer for me. Unfortunately, their bread was low quality white bread. My wife had the Tuscan vegetable soup which was very salty. I had the pici pasta with ricotta, sage, saffron, and leek. The pici was as nice but other ingredients did not combine for a good taste. I had the beef with wine sauce for a second. This was very good. The sauce was excellent and the beef tender. The service was good and the restaurant was somewhat dated with 80s rock playing in the background. Our bill came to €80 in total. I would take a pass on this one for the price.
