Yelp
From Chicago and I feel really torn about this review. My daughter wanted to go here for dinner, and it was about a 3 km walk from our place.
When we got here, they told us it was about an hour wait. I estimate they had about 150 people seated.
It was a very fun crowd, raising glasses and toasting, singing happy birthday, very fun. We waited about 50 minutes for a waiter to take our order.
I ordered cacio tre pepi, and I have it on good authority that it is a local favorite. We ordered some peach wine, and waited for our food.
Our waiter had a sweet handle bar mustache and was quite a character. But the service (2/5) overall was not good.
A couple things we ordered did not come out right, and we were given someone's spinach meal. The complimentary bread came out, but with no olive oil.
If this review was only for the cacio tre pepi, it would be a 5-star review. The dish was superb! But too many gaffes to give with integrity more than 3.
