They had the most incredible live jazz – the band was seriously talented and brought such a soulful, lively vibe to the night. I sat at the bar and met some great people, and the atmosphere made it easy to strike up a conversation. Big shoutout to Stephan, the bartender – he was awesome. Super friendly and made me feel right at home. Even though they didn’t have non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu, he offered to whip one up from scratch and absolutely nailed it. I had the salmon and it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. If you’re ever in Sausalito and love live jazz, good food, and great company, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
I have the most delicious and fresh Salmon Pasta!!!! salmon (smoked salmon, arugula & cream) Oh it was most delicious and accurate amount of season food The serve was kind of slow and very strange we can’t SPLIT the check. ?!?!?? The waitress was awesome and did heck of job taking care of us. So many foods smell wonderful and drink was good. I do feel like this is nice romantic place to eat at. Interior Design look beautiful, great condition, less light, and very painting. It does make me feel like I'm in Europe.

Google
HORRIBLE, I have never tested such bad eggs Benedict ever in my life. I mean how can they go bad with eggs Benedict ? I couldn’t eat more than two spoons. My husband ordered beet salad which was horrible and uncooked. He had to eat it forcefully since we were hungry. Not worth the price and would not recommend anyone for this restaurant

Be sure to check this place out. It is off the main street just a couple blocks. Feels like a locals joint with comfort food and great wine. They also have live music (on select nights). We started with the minestrone soup and house made focaccia. Both were great. Our entrees were the house made gnocchi, lasagne, spaghetti and risotto. We also ordered side of Brussel sprouts that also had pancetta and sweet potatoes. They were the best thing on the table. Delicious. All of our dishes were lovely. The only drawback was the risotto is not a traditional one. Did not have the creaminess we are used to. We will definitely be back. Service was excellent as well.

Incredible restaurant at Salsalito. Tge food and service are very tasty, and the menu is wide with many options from traditional italian food to local sea food. The space is also nice. Comfortable with beautiful furniture gives a good vibe to anyone seating any table for dinner. The service is algo great. Experience is incredible. I went with ny girldfriend in a Saturdsy night. strongly recommend for romantic dinner.

Had breakfast here and had a great experience! The waitress was very nice and warm with us. She made suggestions from the menu from which I chose one and my wife chose something of her own taste. Both meals we ordered (she ordered an omelette and I ordered poached eggs in a tomato sauce) were fantastic with the only complaint being that my meal was a bit small. A third egg or a meat would have made it perfect. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Hadn't been here in years but stopped by on a Sunday night.. The fresh morell pasta blew my socks off. Probably the best pasta dish I've had in Marin this year.

Google
2022 March review: came back again and the food was all on point. The lamb, pork medallion, lasagna are must-gets. Great jazz duo playing live music too. Loved the dinner and will be back again soon. 2018 review: The burrata asian pear appetizer was a v great mix of flavors and textures. The mushroom pasta was good too.

Yelp
we spent the afternoon in sausalito and my fam was looking for a good place to grab dinner at. i currently have a gluten allergy so i was looking for a restaurant that served gluten free menu options and found this place. i thought their gnocchi would be gluten free and was SO excited to try it but sadly it wasn't. i however was able to try their risotto and steak. i subbed out the mashed potatoes that came with the steak with roasted potatoes and WOW. they were the BEST roasted potatoes i ever HAD. they were so crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. idk how they made them that way. the filet was also cooked so nicely with a nice crust on it. the risotto was also DELICIOUS and seasoned perfectly. literally ate both dishes that night and left feeling super satisfied! in terms of ambiance, the restaurant was super romantic and beautiful. i would definitely go back for a date with my boyfriend. the service was also great! would definitely come back here when i'm in town again

Yelp
Amazing and divine ! My daughter and I came for dinner and it was perfect !! Ambiance is super and service is impeccable! They have great wines and a broad menu . Love it so much and can't wait to be back .

Yelp
Great spot for live jazz during dinner time, probably the best part about this place. Just a couple of miles away from the old town in the area. I recommend making a reservation as a place is uncomfortably squished. Tables are lined up practically to the door. - Carbonara - 5/5 - Porcini - 5/5 I didn't ask but based off of the noodle texture, I almost think the noodles are homemade? Perfectly al dente. You have to look for street parking in the area, I would suggest coming just a tad bit early as there are several restaurants in the area and they all seem to get pretty packed

Yelp
Little Italy right in the middle of Sausalito. Simple and romantic restaurant, very nice for a night out with a special loved one or friend. Everything was just spectacular here. My favorite would have to be the Agnello Al Porto, it was just seasoned to perfection and so tender, it just melted in my mouth. The service was great because of the limited seating, they can cater to everyone's individually in a timely manner. The lighting was easy on the eyes but highlighted the food on the table to give any foodie the best photos they can acquire. This is definitely my favorite Italian restaurant and I can't wait to visit again.

Yelp
Wow! This is definitely a hidden gem in Sausalito. It's a couple streets off the main downtown area, so it's a little quieter. There was a live band in there when we went and they were absolutely wonderful. We got the homemade focaccia, the insalata del mercato, the gorgonzola gnocchi, and the funghi risotto. All the food was very delicious. The focaccia was warm and soft and perfectly baked. The salad was fresh and great for the spring. The asparagus and snap peas were such a great addition. The mushroom risotto was complex and so flavorful. It was a little on the watery side, which unfortunately detracted from the dish. There were plenty of mushrooms and the risotto was still amazing. The gnocchi was to die for. The actual pasta was soo pillowy and soft, just simply incredible. I've never had gnocchi with such great texture. Loved the food here, just wish the risotto was a little less watery. The service was also great and fast!

Yelp
I want to start by saying that this was the cutest date spot. The ambiance is perfect for a date night with lively music at the front and a more quiet, darker candle lit ambiance in the back. We ordered the funghi risotto, the Gorgonzola gnocchi, and mercato salad. I don't recommend ordering the funghi risotto as it's quite watery and the mushroom flavors didn't come through well. The Mercato salad was DELICIOUS with perfect amount of vinaigrette and fresh flavors coming from all the veggies. The gnocchi was the STAR OF THE MEAL. I have never had gnocchi so pillowy soft - it has set the standard for all gnocchi moving forward. I still dream about the pillowyness and Gorgonzola sauce. The staff was also very friendly and very speedy with our orders. They brought everything together and were very proactive with checking in on us!

Yelp
I love this little spot for its great food, live music and ambiance, but I have to give three stars due to the service. My girlfriend from out of town was visiting and we made reservations to ensure we had a table. There was a larger private group in back, which wasn't an issue until they began seeking tables. We had only been seated 45 minutes, and were finishing our food and wine when the waiter asked if we could finish at the bar to free up a table. If we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, or had ordered more wine - I would understand. I declined, and told him as soon as we finished the glass we had we would leave. He apparently made a comment to a couple waiting at the bar, who were glaring at us. We were out in under an hour, and the last 15 minutes were truly uncomfortable. It put a sour note on a great evening and was completely uncalled for.

Yelp
Date nights is a must! The BF mentioned Date night and I'm like where? He asks have you been there before? I said no. Located in the beautiful city Sausalito. I'm always in ahh when I travel towards Marin. The views are amazing. Anyhoot, cute town with mom and pop shops all around. Service was quick and very attentive. Drinks: Moscow Mule & Old fashion= stiff and good Appetizer: burrata with Asian pears, pomegranate seeds, micro greens, with balsamic reduced dressing. -Refreshing and delicious Main course: Egg plant parmesan & Carbonara-We were so hungry we killed it! Amazing sauce and pasta flavors were unique. It's definitely a perfect date night

Yelp
Three words: pesto clam sauce. This might have been one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The pesto + clam combination created an explosion of flavor that truly left me speechless. The eggplant parm was also phenomenal (not too heavily breaded) but the pesto clam sauce definitely stole the show. Pro tip: order a side of bread with the pasta to dip into the leftover sauce

Yelp
This is a nice place for a date night if you don't mind be further from the water. No reservations were needed for a Saturday at 5pm (which is when they open). Not many people were there by the time we left at 6pm. Service was very quick and friendly. You can choose between indoor and outdoor seating (I recommend outdoor!). I ordered the Amatriciana which was good but not amazing. The sauce wasn't spicy at all, and I wish there were a bit more onions. Overall, the dish was slightly saltier than what I usually like.

Yelp
After a long day showing out-of-towner friends around some San Francisco Sights, we walked across the Golden Gate and I brought them down to Sausalito, where we had a superb dinner outside, accompanied by stunning jazz and blues music. My friends agreed it was a memorable occasion, we all loved the seafood Italian dishes (around Jackson Mississippi and Lexington Kentucky, I guess, the cuisine is different!) and thought the experience very good value, the prices reasonable (though tax seems high). The knowledgeable waiter was willing to check on what he didn't know (I have allergies, so asked about ingredients), remembered our orders well, checked on us regularly, plus was sociable and friendly without being intrusive. We chose the place partly for the live music and indeed the musicians were top quality; we only sat outside because we wanted to talk, and it was a little loud inside for that, but we are all professional musicians, with very high opinions on the music that night. So I recommend the food, the service, the music--there's a place on the bill to tip the musicians but I went inside to tip them in cash and to tell them in person how much we admired and enjoyed their playing.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious! So many nut free, non-beef/pork options to eat! We honestly couldn't decide what to eat! We started with the Bruschetta on focaccia bread and it was delicious, not soggy but fresh! Next, we decided on a butternut squash gnocchi with mushrooms and a pasta dish with smoke salmon. Both were absolutely amazing! There were so many options it was hard to choose! The restaurant itself is really nice. Think a speakeasy mixed with great food. It's very dark though, but they provide you with little table lights so you can read the menu. My one and only (minor complaint) was the service. I made reservations way ahead of time letting them know it was my husband's birthday. Upon arrival they didn't really care we had a reservation and sat us right next to the entry of the kitchen. It wasn't busy then so I'm not use sure what they sat us there. Between the loud (but lovely) music and sitting right next to the kitchen it was almost impossible to have a good conversation. We had a few good laughs when people kept running into my knee (I'm tall didn't have much leg room). Overall, the food and atmosphere were amazing. Just wish they took a little more pride in the people who took the time to make reservations and to tell them ahead of time it was their birthday. I felt like they were annoyed when I mentioned, "The birthday boy would love to see the dessert menu". The staff seemed very rush and not interested in anything else but clearing the table.

Yelp
When they ask you, "Would you like any bread?" YES. The answer is YES. The steaming warm delicious bread was a great start to a fabulous dinner at this gem on Caledonia. Cocktails were spot on. For appetizers, we had the beef carpaccio and caprese. Both were huge, fresh and delicious. But the pasta was out of this world. The vongole had amazing flavor and perfectly al dente cook. And the papperdelle del casa was pure umami wrapped in fresh pasta. Even though we were stuffed, we managed to squeeze in a few bites of gelato. The live piano music and ambience was spot on for date night and our server was fantastic. We will be back!

Yelp
This restaurant was such a great find! It had a great ambiance for a date night and the back room was filled with a nice lounge vibe, cushiony couches and intimate space for a nice dinner. Lots of pasta options with plenty of seafood and the portion sizes were plenty for a full meal. Would definitely come again!

Sam D.

Yelp
Food was excellent and the server was very friendly and knowledgeable. His recommendation was spot on. The live jazz music was a nice touch.

Yelp
Great place. Great food. Live music. The ambience, cozy setup and lighting easily transports you to some Italian restaurant in Italy or Mediterranean. Recommend.

Yelp

Yelp
What a hidden gem! It's off the main street so it's nicely tucked away. This is everything I love in a bar / restaurant...it's dimly lit, has cute little table lamps, live jazz, an adorable bar, great drinks, and great food! It's hard to find places that hit all the marks but this is it. The service has always been excellent, very prompt and friendly. Do yourself a favor and keep this spot in your back pocket for a date night! It never disappoints.

Yelp
Well, I just realized that I lost my Elite status....that's okay though....Yelp lead us to this lovely osteria on Sunday so all is forgiven. It was a beautiful weekend. After riding over from the city, we were parched and ready for breakfast OR lunch. We parked our bikes and searched Yelp. I am not too fond of long reviews so the rest will be short. We decided on breakfast (brunch) and ordered: Mimosas- w/ fresh squeezed OJ Classic Benedict- OMG, perfectly poached eggs and THE best homemade English muffin. Burrata and butter lettuce salad-- excellent and with peas and peaches. Yum. I wanted to order the "ravioli de la casa", so we will be returning soon. Highly recommend. Note: They have indoor and outdoor seating. They take reservations, but we did not have one, but luckily found a table outside. For brunch, you order inside at the bar and they give you a number. (We waited at the table for quite awhile before realizing that), once we ordered, service was excellent.

Wendy G.

Yelp
We made a reservation for 3 people a week in advance. When we were seated they put us at a small table with a chair in the walk lane and right next to the kitchen. It was noisy and smelly We asked for another table (it was 5pm) and pretty empty. We were told they were all reserved. We said we had a reservation too but they didn't care since we were 3 people, one of which was a child. They then decided to put us way back in a dark spot on a couch with 2 mismatched tables next to each other. It was very uncomfortable. The food was fair, not terrible and not great. 2 of us ordered full meals but for the child we asked for just some plain pasta with butter and Parmesan. They said no problem but we will charge you for a full pasta dish (over $20.00) even though it didn't have any of the fancy ingredients. We were so disappointed by the way we were treated and the mediocre food. We will never return. Be forewarned that the people working there are rude and not very professional

Yelp
The food was exceptionally delicious, the service was very good, and the live jazz was a treat to listen to. I would definitely come here again.

Yelp
Three of us had dinner at Osteria Divino on 5/25. We agreed that this was a remarkable experience, all the way around. The ambiance , (physical space, art work on the walls) , attentive, spot on service and perfectly modulated live jazz was truly superb. And the food ...starting with the extensive menu Beautifully prepared and presented.

Barbara P.

Yelp
I've been to Osteria Divino over the years, and several times more recently because my son loves it. However, he doesn't know that penne, arriabiata sauce and chicken costs $36. The pasta alone costs $21 and then chunks of chicken add on $15! I just can't do it anymore. I have had the pork tenderloin twice in the last couple of months and it is tough. If I wanted it tough, I could do that myself at home and for less than $32.
google avatar

Sylvia Y.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Thursday evening and decided to dine outside. Luckily it wasn't freezing cold (no heat lamps) and we could still clearly hear the live piano music inside. Service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Lots of vegetarian and dairy free options. I got the forte dei marmi spaghetti and shared the cavolfiore as appetizer. The cavolfiore exceeded my expectations. Very healthy mix of cauliflower, spinach, and bell pepper lightly sautéed with olive oil. I enjoyed my forte dei marmi. Fresh sauce and portions were good. I was definitely full after. For dessert, I got the tiramisu. Not too sweet or heavy. I quite liked it. Dinner wasn't exorbitantly expensive, but was priced right considering ambience and quality of food and service. Hoping they'll install heat lamps soon because I'm sure outdoor dining is here to stay.

Yelp
Avoid Elizabeth and Osteria Divino at all costs! I've been to this establishment multiple times and the service is always TERRIBLE. 1. We ordered the seafood risotto which was actually some defrosted seafood on a bed of white rice. I asked the waiter who answered verbatim: "white rice and risotto are the same thing." It was a busy nice and there was food on the table so we did not want to be those people who send food back when the kitchen is clearly slammed. 2. Our drinks arrived after we finished eating. Instead of bringing 4 cocktails, they put 8 manhattans on the table at the same time for a party of 4. They didn't even offer to compensate us for their mistake. 3. I tipped based on the service we experienced and the food. The waiter followed us out to confirm we tipped $40. I confirmed the check he presented and handed it back to him. Upon looking back at it, he LAUGHED and walked away. The next day there was an additional $80 added to the credit card charge. It's not even worth calling the bank to report the fraud, because Elizabeth is clearly desperate for any dollar she can scoop up on Caledonia Street. This place is a scam and Elizabeth is a con artist. There are only so many restaurants in Sausalito, but I'd rather eat McDonald's than give Elizabeth any more money. This place should be reported to the BBB.

Yelp
We regularly dine at Divino and have always been consistently impressed with the entire experience. The food is absolutely delicious, with each dish being expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. Whether I'm in the mood for a classic pasta dish or something a little more creative, the kitchen never disappoints. The live music adds an extra layer of ambiance and always makes our evenings there feel even more special. But the real standout is Elizabeth herself. She is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure that every single person in the restaurant feels right at home. It's clear that she has a real passion for both the food and the atmosphere, and it shows in every aspect of Divino. In addition to their regular dining service, Divino has started hosting private events in their beautifully remodeled back room. We recently celebrated a birthday in the event space and Morgan and her team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It was a next-level Divino experience and a total success! If you're looking for a truly amazing dining experience or a wonderfully curated private event complete with delicious food, music, and top-notch service, look no further.

Yelp
I had some of their delicious vegetarian options. Great service, live music (Thursday night), and plenty of parking on a quiet street. Cavolfiore - got this wonderful cauliflower dish for an appetizer. It was flavorful and filled with delicious vegetables, which was great because the rest of the meal was less healthy... Ravioli Della Casa - was between this and the Gnocchi Della Casa, but it was cold out and was looking for something rich and heavy. The Ravioli delivered with the shitake and black trumpet mushrooms delivering umami. The toasted almonds on top were a nice touch. Tiramisu - decadent and excellent. Enough for two people. Overall, I had a great experience and it's a good place for a date or 1:1 chat with a friend. They don't have heat lamps outside though so make sure that you are wearing something warm on cooler nights!

Yelp
Delicious! Everyone was super nice and they even moved a table into the shade for us :) Can't wait to come back next time we're in the area

Yelp
Best restaurant in Sausalito. Nightly jazz music. Incredible organic fresh food. Newly renovated and expanded. Go see how a class act looks and tastes.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Sausalito. I love the neighborhood feel of Divino. I feel every table is a good one, except the small table right by the door. Unless, you're listening to live music. Then, it's worth it to be so close to the door. The owner is super kind and makes her rounds to check on guests. The menu is well thought out. It's comforting to have Divino, and it's a go to for date nights.

Gary R.

Yelp
In terms of ambiance, I'd agree that Osteria Divino is that rare find--a perfect restaurant for a date night. Intimate, dark, and definitely non-corporate. Service was "relaxed." We were here on a first date, and at first more interested in getting to know each other than ordering. And this wasn't a problem. I ordered a Manhattan at the bar, before my date arrived. The drink arrived 20 minutes later--but was really good. As was the seafood risotto. And the tiramisu was as good as I ever had, with the coffee nuance understated yet profound. I really liked this place. It held us well. And though I no longer live in Marin, I'll be back.
google avatar

Rebecca P.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Sausalito. They have a seasonal menu and rotate food items but everything I've had has always been delicious. I recommend a pasta of some sort because it's made in house. Their cocktails are well crafted and the bartender makes great recommendations. The live blues music is awesome and creates a wonderful evening vibe. Make reservations because it fills up fast.

Ian M.

Yelp
My wife and I usually go to Aurora, but after reading the reviews, we thought we'd try Divino. I can honestly say we were very disappointed. The porcini penne was heavy, muddy and one note. The versifies-sea food pasta was lacking in taste and we did not finish either dish. It was a let down as the other Restaurants in the area are so good.
google avatar

Nett D.

Yelp
I was so looking forward to try this highly rated restaurant and was so disappointed once I tried the food. The dishes lacked taste and were extremely oily. The Branzino was literally dripping v oil with every attempted bite. The veggies surrounding the fish were also drowning in the same oil as the fish. The oil itself didn't even taste like EVOO. I would never have imagined Branzino could be more unhealthy than a burger! Really unacceptable preparation from a restaurant that seems itself to be of a certain caliber.

Wave Jumper O.

Yelp
This place is fantastic, and we had the best meal tonight!! The food is SO GOOD, the service was excellent, and the decor is just beautiful. They had an amazing jazz band playing too which was an extra bonus! When you first peek in from the street, it may not look full because the few tables that are in the front of the restaurant might be vacant as it can get a little loud being so close to the music. However, we had no idea that the restaurant extended so far back, and the newest room in the way back is absolutely stunning and cozy! This our new, favorite spot now! It is absolutely worth a visit and we can't recommend it enough!
google avatar

Merry K.

Yelp
After staring at abundance of mussels, clams, crabs and fishes at A tidepool nearby, we decided to get seafood pasta. This place has outdoor dining and heater. So off we go! Five stars for the ambiance! The live jazz performance definitely added plus. However, it's so hard to relax when you are cold. I dont think the owner ever dine outside themselves. I am writing this carefully, since I understand this is a very tough time for them. There is 1 heater for every 4 tables. If you get the tables in the middle then hurray, but if you were seated on the outer table, then tough luck. We ate our pasta in a hurry. Our tables ordered: Shrimp Curry Pasta, Pork Chops, Carbonara, spagethy with Fungi, and Vongole. Maybe I am biased but I tasted nothing else but the heavy cream on every single dish.

Yelp
Super upsetting to have to write this review, because I thought this restaurant was great when it first opened. I reserved their back room for my boyfriends birthday. I agreed to pay $2100 for a pre set buffet style menu (including all food & drink, gratuity, etc). I was charged $500 for a deposit, and was told this would be put towards the overall bill. We arrived at the location, enjoyed our evening, then left. I thought everything was okay, until Morgan, the event manager told me a couple days later that there was "damage," and missing items. I had no clue what she was talking about until she emailed me saying "a chair leg broke, and a candle was missing." They said I owed $171 to replace the " missing candle" and brown chair leg. I never saw a chair leg break, so I asked all of my guests what happened. One of them said my 100lb girlfriend sat down on one of their chairs, and the leg immediately broke. Morgan watched the whole incident, whisked the chair away immediately and apologized. (I did not witness this) Morgan then turned around--knowing that I was not aware of the incident, and tried to charge me $171 for something that was the restaurants fault. If their chair couldn't safely support a 100lb individual, then they have unsafe chairs. Additionally, she tried to say that one of my guests "took" a supposed missing candle. As if someone would steal a candle from my group. We were a happy mature group of 33 year olds--not teenagers that would ever think to steal candles from a restaurant. I couldn't believe that Morgan would try to take advantage of me and the situation and charge me for something that was SO clearly not our fault. I also noticed on the "final bill" they changed multiple line items, charging me way extra than the initial bill. They also never attributed my $500 into the final bill, over charging me $500. I then requested that they remove the $340 gratuity due to how upsetting and wrong it was that they tried to monetarily take advantage of me in multiple ways. My emails went ignored by Morgan and Elizabeth, I'm am having to go through my credit card company to deal with this. I will never go back to this restaurant, nor will any of my local friends. Shame on Morgan for taking advantage of good local patrons.

Yelp
The ambience of this place is wonderful. It's not right by the water, but it's just a block or two over so it would be perfect before or after a walk in Sausalito. There's a great outdoor patio to enjoy good cool evening weather, or a cozy lamp-lit interior as well. The live music was fantastic, the staff was very kind. The only downside for me was actually the food. The pastas we ordered (two types with calamari and one with clams) were just okay; I felt like the portions were meager and the taste was not anything to write home about. I'd come again for the vibes and to order a drink and chat with friends, but not to have a delicious dinner.

Diana D.

Yelp
We ordered takeout dinner from here last week and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered Bucatini carbonara and Norma as well as Scrimp scampi curry pasta. My favorite was Shrimp scampi but Bucatini Carbonara was the star of the day among those who ate meat in the family. We also ordered caprese salad which tasted fresh as well as prosciutto. All in all, it was a wonderful dinner and would definitely order from here again.

Yelp
Great food and service. Minestrone soup is amazing. Great pasta as well! Small venue so be sure to get there early!

We love coming to this little place every time we are in the area. The food is most authentic, the service is immaculate, and the ambiance is DIVINO!!

Yelp
What a cozy Italian dinner I had here last Sunday evening! While it was raining outside, I was treated to live jazz music, warm bread, and delicious Italian food inside. :) After walking around Bridgeway restaurants and getting sticker shock, my group trekked over to Caledonia Street (the hidden gem of Sausalito in my opinion!). We were surprised at how reasonable the prices were here. My friends ordered lasagna (I tasted it -- superb!) for under $20, which I thought was a great deal. I opted for the homemade gnocchi at $16. While the pesto wasn't super creamy (more like coarsely-ground basil with whole pine nuts), the gnocchi was melt-in-your mouth fabulous. Also, the fresh bread that was served at the beginning was piping hot and so delicious that our table kept asking for more. All in all, a solid dining experience in Sausalito, made all the more wonderful by live jazz music.

Yelp
Our party of five arrived around 7:30 PM on a Saturday night and got seated indoors around 8:20 PM. We definitely could've been seated outdoors immediately, but due to the windy weather, we decided it would be worth it to wait to eat indoors. Outdoor seating does have standing heaters, but can still get quite chilly due to Sausalito weather. Inside, the restaurant has around 6-7 tables with a live jazz trio playing at the front. The bread served at the beginning was incredible. It was warm and the server continued to refill our bucket without asking, which was much appreciated. We ordered one pasta dish each and shared two appetizers, the Bruschetta and the Antipasto Misto. Both appetizers were great and I would recommend getting both. The Antipasto Misto paired particularly well with the bread. I personally got the Forte dei Marmi with Tagliatelle substituted (+$5, which can we done for any pasta dish!). The tagliatelle was extremely soft and while the ingredients were fresh, the pasta was overall slightly bland. Adding the parmesan and chili flakes the server gave us definitely helped on that end. Overall, a great place to have a nice dinner in Sausalito!

Yelp
I'm sorry y'all, but the negative reviews are true lol we did not even finish our dinner. We ordered online, 1 half Cornish game hen & 1 type of pasta. We went to pick it up and they apparently lost our order somehow, and it wasn't ready yet. We eventually got the food and brought it home. 1. The pasta essentially had no sauce. It was watery and thin, and almost seemed like they skimped out on giving the sauce in the first place. My girl had maybe... 4-5 bites and chucked it. 2. The seasonal vegetables (cauliflower, zucchini, potatoes, etc) in the Cornish game hen dish had NO seasoning on them. No salt. The game hen itself was seasoned well, but that dish is $19 for essentially 3-4 bites of actual game hen and then unseasoned vegetables. I cannot recommend this place. Some of the most mid food we've ever had.

Yelp
I just recently had the privilege to experience Divino- being a Bay Area Native and a seasoned Producer in SF , it's always refreshing to be on the other end and receive 5star service. I attended a private event in December , and let me just start by saying the service was impeccable and flawless. The event manager Morgan and owner Elizabeth were so attentive to the needs of the host and guests. Especially Morgan - she is a unique combination of polished professionalism and an effervescent "on the ball" intermediary and brought an upbeat attitude through the entire duration of the event from the moment we arrived and until we left. They both really listened to the vision and experience that the host wanted to convey to her guests. Having produced some of the largest parties and events in San Francisco I am overly pleased and happy with the experience that is of the Divino event team! It's no easy feat to produce countless private events during the holidays and these ladies were pure grace under fire and made everything seem so simple and beautiful while still making the guests feel like VIP's. I will definitely be returning and or having my own events there in the near future!

Yelp
After our first discovery of Osteria, we quickly became regulars for the food, music and ambiance. The food has been delicious for both brunch and dinner. We decided to visit the restaurant for our first Friday night dinner service, but were grossly interrupted by an extremely obnoxious, rude large party. After a long week, we were excited to come on Friday for Walter Earl Trio and came for our reservation at 7. We were quickly seated and ordered our food. While the food was great, the party next to us ruined our whole experience and the other tables' as well, as other tables chose to be seated at another section of the restaurant due to noise. We could not hear the Trio and were so very disappointed, as live music is the warmth of Osteria. The obnoxious group were unnecessarily loud, made extremely offensive comments (being rude to the servers "sir! You are a sir right? *laughter*, saying unpleasant, racist things out loud *imitating an Indian accent* and *making monkey noises* making loud burst of noise that cause others to jump, they even tried to grab our waiter who was taking our order...). If a bunch of elementary children were next to me, it'd be more understandable. It left a sour taste in our mouth especially because the owner did not do anything to address their behaviors, and also seemed to cater to them especially. It felt dismissive of other guests' experiences, and certainly made us feel disappointed as we have had cordial interactions previously. We seriously request the owner to reflect on this honest review and consider being fair to all of their customers. We really appreciate small business with an ode to local resources, but etiquette can really make-or-break the carefully curated cuisine that Osteria is cultivating. **the rating is indicative of the experience, not the food quality.

Yelp
Food was delicious, very nicely presented, and servers were very friendly. A wonderful experience if you want to enjoy your time in Sausalito and try new style of food. The calamari antipasti was very different from what we have experienced before, since it's in a salad and not breaded.

Yelp
This is the place you want to be to really enjoy a night out. Great Italian dishes ( and I am 100 % Italian ) , incredible service ( the best around Marin ) and a plus of live Jazz music with fantastic musicians. Every person starting from the chef , the honer and every staff member are always super nice. BRAVO!
