Osteria Fratelli Mori

I spent a delightful evening at this restaurant. Booking ahead was a wise choice, considering the place's popularity. Sharing the appetizer, we indulged in the exceptional zucchini flower and mozzarella in carrozza. The main course, Genovese, captivated our taste buds with its delicious flavor, paired with a glass of wine that enhanced the experience. The grand finale was the dessert – a delightful and memorable sour cherry tart. Overall, a very pleasant experience with excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Very good food and spacious dining room. Favored by locals and apparently good for large groups. Location is convenient to the piramide metro stop. Most dishes we had were at least above average. All the insalata dishes were very good, as was the rigatoni all'amatriciana. Cicoria was just okay. Service was friendly and professional. We were a little put off by being reminded more than once that we needed to vacate our table before 21:30 (which was not a problem for us).

We came here for our last day in Rome dinner. When I tell you we had THE BEST time here with delicious food and absolutely amazing staff - TRUST ME. Just make that reservation here and look no further. Staff is so good at their job they need a raise! 🤌🏻😀

Lovely osteria in Testaccio packed with locals. The staff was nice and accommodating and it wasn’t an issue to get a table on a Saturday evening. The service was attentive and fast. Saltimbocca was nearly the best I had so far but I would have liked some more jus. The fried balls with potato and cod were delicious. Pasta alla amatriciana was decent.

The food here was outstanding. Lots of flavour and extremely well presented. Service started off really strong, they waited on us in English and had an English menu. They were very welcoming and timely between courses. I liked that there was music playing in the background whilst we ate and the room was air conditioned. I felt the service dipped as the meal went on and the room became busier. At the end of the meal, quite a few of the waiting staff seemed harassed. However, the authentic Italian food really made this place a favourite of ours. By the end of the meal, the room was filled with Italian's and that really says you're eating authentically. Also you can reserve a table online.

The pasta is super delicious, the steak is very tender and delicious, and the waiter is very enthusiastic and friendly

We made reservations in advance for this restaurant a bit outside the strictly "tourist" areas in Rome, and were absolutely thrilled with the experience. The restaurant has an airy feel to it, great decor, and lots of warm "home"-like tones. Both brothers, and we presume their mother, were there working, and we had exceptional service from another gentleman who was our waiter. We were the only Americans in there at 9pm on a weeknight and that's exactly what we wanted. Recommend the classic Roman pasta, the cheek, and the anchovies/buttered bread apperitivo.

Very good food. Delightful ambiance and decor. Friendly and efficient service. The only disappointment was the lack of Coda and tiramisu available, as I had actually deliberately chosen this place for the Rigatoni con coda :( I will be back to try it!
