Their cappellacci di zucca were exceptional! Don’t miss it! Nice and relaxing atmosphere and location in front of the castle. Very good service, they also made a special dish (not in the menu) of cappelletti with parmigiano velutata for one of our kids (great too). Tagliatelle al ragu and lasagna very good too. Panacotta was also nice,I would love to try their dessert with Rum Diplomatico but I had to drive, maybe next time. Fair prices. Totally recommended.

The food wasn’t bad, the prices are reasonable, and the restaurant is in a nice location on a small square with a view of the castle. Just the service wasn’t friendly.

I ate here because of a recommendation and had the 'Cappelacci di zucca Al burro e salvia' - pumpkin filled pasta with butter and sage. It was the most delicious dish I ate on my 10 day trip to Veneto and Emilia-Romagna. Sitting outside, you have a great view on the Castello Estense. The service was friendly. I had to wait 15 minutes for a table but they just put down my name and when I came back, the table was ready. Highly recommended.

Great location in Ferrara. Excellent and copious antipasti. Great tagliatelle with duck ragout. Good local wines. Prices are very moderate.

Really great food at a great location with views of the Este castle. Friendly service, much more on point and quick compared to all other restaurants in Italy we have been to the past weeks! Start with a platter of cured ham, chunks of parmesan and pinzini (fried dough/bread only in Emilia-Romagna region, also called torta fritta). Among other great dishes, they have a delicious cappellachi (pumkin ravioli) with parmesan sauce and crispy guinciale on top! Love it! But be advised, it’s a heavy dish! Their tagliatelle ragu was also very tasty!

I ordered a tagliere or cold cut board for one and it was enough for three people, with nicely shaved meats, and good variety. I found the service lukewarm here though.

Very nice restaurant. Fresh food and huge portions. Staff are friendly. The house white wine is delicious. We had cappelletti in brodo - very tasty and capellacci con zucca al ragu-also very tatsy. We tottaly enjoyed our visit.

Lasagne was bland. No herbs or garlic used. Tasted like something from Asda. Caesar saiad was just chicken with a load of lettuce. House wine insipid. Servers were quite nice and quick.

Yelp
I had a graduation lunch today and it was a great experience. Our party was sit outside looking the beauty of the caste on the huge square. Beautiful day as well. We had a charcuterie appetizer very rich with different salumi like salame, mortadella, prosciutto crudo, pancetta and the fried gnocco. Then we had 2 different pastas, the homemade fresh tagliatelle al ragù and the cappellacci filled with pumpkin in a parmigiano cream, crispy pancetta and some balsamic on top... delicious!! Then... yes... then we had a 3rd course with different grilled meat and grilled vegetable suck zucchini, eggplant, red peppers... after that, a selection for desert and of course espresso at the end. The waitress were very attentive and super fast. Really a great experience. Thank you all

Yelp
The food was good but the service was incredibly slow. I noticed how each waiter only did one thing (ex: one waiter would take orders, another would only deliver water, another would only clean up) so it made it very inefficient. I wouldn't go here again just because the wait time for everything was so frustrating.
