Service was very good and pretty quick, staff spoke English and were friendly and attentive. Food; starters: we ordered bruschetta- the bread was stale so not great in taste but portions sizes were big. Mains: we had the steak which was cooked perfectly. The pasta paella with sea food had so much flavour and portion size again was big. Overall a great restaurant but on the pricey side compared to other restaurants in the area. Giving this restaurant 4* only due to the high price and the bread being stale.

We have eaten here twice & both Allesso (maybe wrong spelling) & hus dad, Claudia couldn't have been kinder and inferred great service including an extras to the menu - very obliging. This establishment, we understand, has been under new management since April 2025 by them both but they are suffering from the earlier nott so good reviews which is really unfortunate as our exoerience both times was very good. I'd happily recommend the restaurant & their food & service. Thank you to them both.

We've now been several times to this beautifully situated restaurant. They're nice people (new management) that run it & their food, service & ambience are all excellent. We will revisit next year when again on holiday from the UK.

Reasonable food, prices are quite high but you are paying extra for sunset and sea view. We had a nice meal and it was good they provide gluten free pasta. The suckling pig dish was enjoyable (slow roast pork and potatoes), the frigola paella was enjoyable too but not the best we have eaten in Sardinia. Staff were friendly. Hence all together a 4 star experience.

Had breakfast here a few times. Our waiter Alessio was always friendly and professional. Good food and coffee. Good prices. Always left satisfied.

Very disappointed with the service at this place. The food wasn’t that good either. The squid tasted burnt, but the worst part was being charged €40 for a bland sea bream dish for one person, supposedly priced by weight. It was €8 per 100g, and although my portion was no more than 250g, they charged me as if it weighed half a kilo. When I complained, they refused to admit the bill was wrong, and as I left, the waiters laughed. What a shame. DO NOT GO.

After checking several restaurants, opted for this one as they advertise their paella… Ordered a starter (monkfish) and paella for two only to be told they don’t do it at lunchtime, only evening - this should be clearly stated, totally misleading. Opted for mixed antipasti (of the sea) - following the waitress recommendation - fried calamari and prawns, roasted potatoes with rosemary and mixed salad. Starter looked good but the only tasty bit was the octopus with potato purée… Calamari and prawns were over cooked and rubbery, potatoes were soggy (felt like microwaved with clingfilm on top!) and there even was a mouldy tomato in the salad! Really gutted as we have had some incredible food in Sardegna. Was expecting more from a seaside restaurant, Alghero being famous for its seafood and fish, it’s a major let down. Don’t waste your time nor money, average place.
