Reasonable food, prices are quite high but you are paying extra for sunset and sea view. We had a nice meal and it was good they provide gluten free pasta. The suckling pig dish was enjoyable (slow roast pork and potatoes), the frigola paella was enjoyable too but not the best we have eaten in Sardinia. Staff were friendly. Hence all together a 4 star experience.

Excellent service and food. The hostess was very professional, and took care of us with a nice outdoor table as promised after a reasonable short wait. Highly recommended! The food was superb as well. Had to highlight the staff and service.

Do not go. We reserved a table outside to watch the sunset and when we arrived our table wasn’t ready. They asked us to come back in 45 mins so we did and then they said there wasnt a table free and yet we’re seating couples of two. The front of house lady was so rude. I’ve never experienced such a rude person and could hear others complaining about the food too. Fortunately we found so many other options nearby and of high quality and a great customer service

After checking several restaurants, opted for this one as they advertise their paella… Ordered a starter (monkfish) and paella for two only to be told they don’t do it at lunchtime, only evening - this should be clearly stated, totally misleading. Opted for mixed antipasti (of the sea) - following the waitress recommendation - fried calamari and prawns, roasted potatoes with rosemary and mixed salad. Starter looked good but the only tasty bit was the octopus with potato purée… Calamari and prawns were over cooked and rubbery, potatoes were soggy (felt like microwaved with clingfilm on top!) and there even was a mouldy tomato in the salad! Really gutted as we have had some incredible food in Sardegna. Was expecting more from a seaside restaurant, Alghero being famous for its seafood and fish, it’s a major let down. Don’t waste your time nor money, average place.

My husband and I were here with our 20 month toddler the other day and it was absolutely incredible. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The weather was awful out and the season hasn’t started yet so was pretty quiet, but I’ll bet when it’s busy the atmosphere would also be top notch. 100% recommend. 😀

Everything was horrible except the view. Service ignored us for 30 minutes and did not give us the menu. We did not receive bread. Main course was bad and comparable to a beach bar. Prices were too high and the servicio fee a joke. Even the spritz tasted bad. I would recommend having a drink at the pier but not eating there as it is a typical tourist scam. The bad google reviews don‘t lie.

The most beautiful view but the most terrible service and dishes. We took fried calamari and fishes (little fish and sword fish) and everything was without taste. Even the potatoes had no taste and were like sponge. Not recommended because there are better places mostly outside the castle.

Octopus inedible, prepared in a microwave. Grilled fish plate- distaste, dry, chewy… Hendricks GT- glass of gin with shwepps with lemon:/ service ok, view amazing. Food- disaster:(
