Very friendly and fun atmosphere.
Well presented and delicious authentic Sicilian food. Fresh ingredients. The house wine was delicious. Great experience. Highly recommend

Delicious but cold inside in winter. There is a real open fire but not at work:(

Nice little Ostaria in a quiet area of Ortigio. We had a great time with excellent food (grilled anchovies, clams in spaghetti, mixed grill). House wine is very good too. The service was friendly and efficient. They let us take our time with placing orders and we sincerely felt they appreciated our being there. Not always the case in many restaurants, especially when the owner is absent. We try to pick restaurants where the owner is actively involved in the business. It makes a difference.

Somewhat surprising a highly rated place that must be featured in many guide books as it was packed with tourists. The starter was not the best, and by Italian standards, the pasta was not the best either. Also, the wine was rather dull. There are countless outstanding restaurants on Ortigia, so I would recommend you go somewhere else. D!

Haven’t stopped thinking about the tuna pasta & orange salad I ate here a year ago! The best meal I had in Sicily!

Our favorite restaurant in Ortigia. The food is great and we’re treated like family. The rabbit, orange salad and caponata are amazing. A must visit with patience. Grazie Mille Mariano 💋🇮🇹

Interesting location on a side street gives a nice ambiance. The food was good and the wine was reasonably priced. Service was also
good. Seemed to fill up quickly if you want a table outside, but there was always seating available inside. The food was good and the menu has variety, so there is something for everyone. A safe bet.

The best clam pasta I’ve ever had. The octopus stewed in tomato is also very tasty. The blood orange and onion salad is totally a surprise. Situated in a touristy area, it has a family run atmosphere and the price is very reasonable.
