One of the Best Meals of the Holiday We had an absolutely outstanding lunch here—truly one of the best meals of our entire holiday! The quality, flavor, and fair prices make this place a must-visit. We would definitely come again. The Pasta Standout I ordered the Pasta with Sausage Ragù, and it was absolutely delicious. The dish featured a generous portion of meat and the flavor was perfectly balanced, hitting notes of salt, savory richness, and a great little creaminess. Crucially, the pasta was perfectly cooked (something many places struggle with, often leaving it too hard). This pasta dish alone is a winner! The Signature Meat Dish The dish that truly stood out was the meat dish (the second photo, possibly a secondo or a specialty primo). It was served with a pumpkin sauce and a hint of truffle. This dish was a masterpiece! It should be a permanent menu item, not just a daily special—it has all the makings of a signature dish. The depth of flavor was amazing and I would happily eat it all day. Conclusion Both dishes were phenomenal, cooked to perfection, and represented incredible value. The experience was flawless and featured one of the best combinations of flavor and portioning we've encountered. Highly recommended!

Local home-style cooking. Could not fault a single thing. The wine the waiter recommended was impeccable. The tiramisu was a hidden gem. I can recommend this place to anyone staying in Matera.

We made reservations for a group of five, and our table was ready when we arrived. We enjoyed a beautiful view of the old city. We ordered salad, bread, main dishes, wine, and Tiramisu to share. Everything was very good. Vincenzo was very helpful and efficient.

During our stay in Matera we have been in few restaurants. All were nice but the MateraMi was the best. We took two dishes of the day and they were delicious (check the pic. - I ate everything!) The staff was very professional and kind. We had a table outside with a fantastic view on the Sassi. Please be inform it is rather difficult to get there without a reservation. It has my reccomendation!

Great food and service! And what a view! They dont have special menu for kids but pasta will do the thing.

One of the best restaurants I've been in for quite some time and one of the best during my time there in Apulia area. The service was quick plus we got some apetizers before the meal. We also got a lot of good vibe from the staff :) They are all superfriendly and with the kind of humor that I appriciate. For the food we ordered different pasta (vege & meat) and we loved them all. It's one of those restaurants where you go in for a amazing food experience and you get the best client service as a bonus. Definitely will come back there whenever I'm around that part of Italy :)
