Osteria Ticino da Ketty & Tommy

First time in Osteria Ticino, this place was recommended by local who run a shop nearby. She was telling the food is pretty good and authentic. And yes indeed, but too bad i went there alone so i couldn't try variety of food :(. the pizza is really good, it's a must visit place if you are a pizza lover!

We spent three nights in this wonderful little hotel. Our room was on the top floor and had a spacious balcony. The room was a bit worn, but nice and clean. The staff and service were very friendly. Don't forget to take advantage of the free bus ticket for tourists - you can get it from the staff. The hotel has a nice restaurant downstairs. We had dinner there one night. The food was delicious! Our dinner was one of the best we have had in Switzerland. The atmosphere of the osteria was cozy and warm. The service was friendly and the pricing ok considering that it is Switzerland. We will definitely be back.

Friendly and accommodating staff who helped us out with breakfast when we needed to leave early. However, the hotel is very expensive for what you get. The room was small and outdated with no climate control and we were given a single bottle (.33l) of water to share.

Amazing restaurant! The service was great, really nice and friendly personnel. The atmosphere in the restaurant is welcome and calm. You can choose from all pizzas on the menu and decide to take the ‘black’ dough. I can really recommend this, I’ve never had a black pizza before. The taste is the same and weirdly enough it looks more healthy ;)! Grazie mille!

One of the Best restaurants ever! Authentic, charming, and had great hospitality. If you get lucky you'll have Vito as a waiter. He'll make sure your dining experience is nothing but grace. He knows the menu like the back of his hand, And can recommend dishes that are simply grand. He's patient and helpful, and always polite, And makes sure that everything is just right. Vito is quick on his feet and never misses a beat, And always has time for a friendly greet. GO THERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! THE BEST|

I do not write Google reviews very often, but when I do they are either very positive or very negative. I have to say I wasn't expecting much when we came there for the first time, but I was extremely pleasently suprised. Since then we were there two times during our short stay in Ascona and we had beef fillet and lamb loin - best we had in a long time! Food is delicious and the regional beer was also very good! The service is very friendly and customer oriented. The restaurant manager was super caring and knowledgeable. The restaurant is children friendly and there's even a small playground in the back. Definite recommendation! Next time we're in Ascona we'll visit again!

Everything was great - from the very first greeting of the staff to the food and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. Super delicious glutenfree pizza that made my heart beat especially fast! The visit made my birthday even better than expected. Would love to come back!
